Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1796: Chapter 1790 Valuable

“I can handle it. Someone is watching over there, so I’m not involved. That’s why I need to make something else.” Nangong Shulan is only making one thing, how could she not manage.

“Alright, I can teach you, but if you can’t do it, just don’t force yourself, okay?” Qin Xue looked at her mother, who seemed determined to succeed, and couldn’t help but chuckle. Her mother had tasted success and was keen on making money from business ventures.

“Got it, I’m a grown-up, I can manage this. Honestly.” Nangong Shulan glared at her daughter, as if she was treating her like a child.

Others didn’t know what they were whispering about, they just didn’t bother to ask.

Anyway, when a mother and daughter are talking, it’s not good to intrude too much, right? So, they continued grilling food, not paying much attention to them.

Meanwhile, Aunt Qin and Qin Gang got what they wanted, and were busy figuring out their next steps, so they didn’t have the time to pay attention to what Qin Xue and Nangong Shulan were discussing.

However, Nangong Beiying overheard their conversation. She just glanced at them, shook her head, and looked at Qing Teng and Munara, who were eating with delight.

“Aunt, you all sit and grill. I’ll head into the inner room. Oh, Moli asked me to have a good look. Please send her over to my place later. I’m tied up here, so you’ll have to bring her over.”

Qin Xue saw her mother preparing cold dishes, so she thought it best to write down the method. It would be easier that way and less likely to be forgotten. But she also had promised Moli, so she had to keep her word.

“Okay.” Qin Gang responded.

Qin Xue was undeniably proactive; she acted upon her thoughts immediately. Because she was someone who would execute well whatever she decided to do, when her mother wanted to do something, she couldn’t help but think about how to make it perfect for her.

“Mom, do you know where we can get those glass cabinets like in department stores?” Qin Xue thought of making one, placing it outside their breakfast shop to sell items—no need for someone to watch over it, it’s quite good.

“Wouldn’t that be expensive?” Nangong Shulan asked.

“Mom, even if it’s expensive, we should invest in one. It’s about spending money to make money. Otherwise, in this hot summer, with flies and bugs everywhere, people won’t come and buy, right?”

Qin Xue thought, if hygiene isn’t up to par, no one will come to eat. That’s just how it is with food; hygiene has to be the top priority. Otherwise, people will lose their appetite, which is one thing, but if they get sick, that’s a bigger problem.

Therefore, Qin Xue believed that if they were going to do it, they should do it right the first time, leaving the best impression.

“Then, when your dad has time, I’ll have him inquire about it.” Nangong Shulan thought it made sense. Fair enough, let’s do it—as her daughter said, you must invest to reap rewards.

“Mom, keep this safe. Don’t let outsiders know. It could be quite valuable.” Qin Xue handed her written recipe and instructions to her mother, reminding her to keep it secret.

Qin Xue wasn’t lying. In her past life, she had helped an elderly lady who sold cold dishes. For some unknown reason, she felt connected to Qin Xue and insisted on giving her ancestral secret recipe, causing discontent among her son and daughter-in-law.

It’s understandable; it was their livelihood, and the secret recipe was given to Qin Xue. Later, when Qin Xue learned about it, she felt incredibly awkward. Luckily, she and her family enjoyed cold dishes, so they only used the recipe for themselves, never leaking it, otherwise, it would have been truly shameful.

It wasn’t until later that Qin Xue learned that their cold dish business had expanded significantly, with many franchise stores across cities, each requiring a franchise fee of 20,000, indicating how huge the profits were.
