Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1759: Chapter 1753: Why Are You Here?

“Shushu, you go buy some sweets, don’t several kids live at Lele’s place? We’ve brought rice and grains, but we’re missing some snacks for the kids. You brought money, didn’t you? So just go and buy some.” Cai Wenzhao was only able to join them after getting permission from her parents; otherwise, she’d be helping her dad at the store and wouldn’t have any time to come out and play.

“You’re right, we all forgot about that. Shushu, you go buy some.” After hearing this, the others remembered the issue, realizing it was an oversight on their part. Fortunately, they thought of it now, or else they’d look silly later.

“Alright, I’ll go then. You guys wait here for me.” Ye Zishu observed their large bags, making them look more like they were visiting relatives rather than having fun.

“Got it, there’s so much stuff. If we don’t wait for you, we won’t be able to carry it all.” Xu Shaoqin really couldn’t carry that much stuff.

“Alright then, you all just treat me like a porter.” Ye Zishu felt like she’d made a few troublesome friends.

“Hurry up, if you don’t go, I will.” Cai Wenzhao actually remembered to bring this up at home, but forgot about it on the way, a sign of her forgetful nature.

“Don’t, I’ll go.” Hearing Cai Wenzhao’s words, Ye Zishu quickly ran off. Everyone else had stuff with them, and she felt embarrassed being the only one empty-handed. Now was the perfect opportunity to buy something to show her goodwill, regardless of the amount.

“Seeing how Shushu is acting, I wonder if her mom didn’t let her come, and she snuck out?” Guan Xiaojun, unusually observant.

“No way, she doesn’t have the guts for that.” Xu Shaoqin was the most meticulous and observant among them. She glanced at Guan Xiaojun before speaking.

Even though Xu Shaoqin rarely interacted with Yin Sujin alone, she had heard from her mom that she was a very open-minded person, so if Shushu wanted to visit Qin Jiale’s house, she wouldn’t disagree.

Since the head teacher had surely mentioned the situation at Qin Jiale’s house during their last meeting, Shushu’s mom likely wouldn’t have any objections.

“But she definitely didn’t seem prepared.” Guan Xiaojun thought of this when she saw how flustered Shushu appeared.

“Maybe initially Auntie didn’t let her go, so she wasn’t prepared. Didn’t you see that Shushu brought money?” Xu Shaoqin could only think of this possibility. She couldn’t come up with any other reason why.

“Maybe.” Guan Xiaojun didn’t feel like debating further. After all, they were already there, so it didn’t really matter.

“Bro, ride over there. I feel like they look like my classmates.” Qin Jiale, sitting on the back seat, tugged at her brother’s clothes to make him steer in that direction.

“Why would your classmates come here?” Qin Yu didn’t know they’d visited once before, so he asked when he heard his sister’s comment.

“I don’t know why they’re here. They look like they’re visiting family. Do they have other relatives around here?” Qin Jiale hadn’t asked them last time if they had any other friends or relatives nearby, so seeing them with so many things didn’t make her think they were coming to their house.

“Alright, let’s go check it out.” Qin Yu thought that a few young girls carrying so many things must not be convenient.

He decided to ask and see what was going on, whether they needed help or not. After all, just because they were his sister’s classmates, he felt he ought to lend a hand.
