Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1766: Chapter 1760: It’s a Deal

“How could I ever become a teacher? I’m afraid I’d only mislead students and that wouldn’t be good.” Qin Xue chuckled; she didn’t even have the mindset to be a teacher.

Qin Xue had never thought about becoming a teacher her entire life, so she’d never considered it at all. All she had ever done was perform surgeries in the operating room to save lives. Now, hearing these girls say she could become a teacher, Qin Xue found it impossible to believe.

“How could that be? You’re such a great teacher. If this counts as misleading students, then what face would other people have to live in this world?” Xu Shaoqin also thought Qin Xue was being far too modest.

“Don’t flatter me. I only occasionally guide you guys, nothing more. But if any of you are interested in medical skills, I might be able to teach you.” Qin Xue specialized in medicine, and she figured teaching them that might be feasible.

“Forget it, I’m not interested in medical skills, but I’m interested in martial arts. Sis, do you know martial arts?” Guan Xiaojun was uninterested in detailed, patient tasks, but anything involving fighting and combat highly piqued her interest.

“I do, actually,” Qin Xue admitted without hesitation.

“Really? Can you teach me?” Guan Xiaojun didn’t expect Qin Xue to respond like that, and she asked excitedly.

“No, you’re not suited for learning what I know because you lack the basics of martial arts.” Qin Xue simply didn’t have the time to teach them right now.

“What would I need to do for you to agree to teach me?” Guan Xiaojun asked persistently. Qin Xue excelled in her studies, so her martial arts must be outstanding as well. Guan Xiaojun was unwilling to let such a great opportunity slip away.

“You would need to run every morning, complete other forms of physical training, and improve your physical condition first. Only with a strong foundation can you achieve better results.” Qin Xue looked at the group of girls. Each of them was far too fragile; jumping straight into martial arts practice would be grueling, and whether they could withstand it was another matter.

“So, if I manage to accomplish all this, will you agree to teach me?” Guan Xiaojun pressed Qin Xue further.

“If you can truly do all that, I will definitely teach you,” Qin Xue said, gazing at Guan Xiaojun as if she were looking at her younger self.

Back then, she was the same. She had asked her coach the same question, and the coach responded to her in the same way.

In the end, she and Nangong Beiying had gritted their teeth and persevered through it, or else their coach wouldn’t have only taught the three of them. As for how many juniors their coach later taught, they didn’t know. But in their training group, the coach had only taught the three of them.

This was their honor and their privilege. After all, their coach was a retired international athlete with top-notch skills and experience.

“Alright, it’s a deal!” Guan Xiaojun was ecstatic upon getting the answer she was looking for.

“It’s a deal!” Qin Xue nodded in agreement. She figured teaching her was feasible; topics like Taekwondo and Judo alone could be plenty to cover.

“Sis, I want to learn too,” Qin Jiale chimed in. He didn’t know his sister knew martial arts and assumed she learned them during her time in the Imperial Capital with the military. After hearing she was going to teach Guan Xiaojun, he wanted in as well.

“You can, but on the condition that it doesn’t affect your studies. Can you manage that?” Qin Xue put the warning out upfront. Otherwise, she feared they might neglect their academics for martial arts, which would be akin to chasing small gains while losing the bigger picture.

The consequences of that would be too drastic and were not something Qin Xue wanted to see happen. So, she made sure to remind them ahead of time.
