Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

Kill the boss! The Beacon of Hope’s plan! LootAfter eliminating the Lighthouse Country players, Ye Xingyu picked up all the dropped equipment.

There were more than twenty pieces!

The speed of acquiring equipment by killing players was even faster than grinding monsters!

No wonder any game involving PVP never lacked conflict and struggle between players.

After Ye Xingyu quickly cleaned up the scene, he immediately turned his gaze to the Gold Boss not far away—Furious Elf Talia!

She had only just disengaged from combat for about ten seconds.

Most of the health she had lost earlier had not yet recovered.

Her current health bar was at most half of her peak.

So, it was an excellent opportunity to eliminate her!

Everyone knew that a Gold Boss was equivalent to a mobile treasure trove.

Killing it would yield immense benefits!

Therefore, it absolutely could not be missed!

Ye Xingyu inevitably showed an interested gaze towards Talia.

The bow and arrow in his hand unconsciously locked onto her... At the same time, the group of Lighthouse Country players who had just been killed were forcibly kicked out of the instance by the system.

They returned to their own Lighthouse Country Server Region.

But that group of people cursed, unwilling to give up:

”Damn it! The cunning Xia Country people! They actually ambushed us from behind!”

”If he hadn’t ambushed us and killed most of us from behind, the outcome of this battle would have been hard to predict!”

”Damn it! If I don’t kill this Xia Country person, I won’t be able to quell the hatred in my heart!”

”Respected Count James, the person who ambushed us is named Falling Nine Heavens. After he killed us, his instance points soared, and he is now ranked first on the Xia Country Server Region’s instance point leaderboard. If we reveal his information to ’Angel,’ I believe ’Angel’ will be very interested in him. What do you think?”

”Ah haha~ Your suggestion is good! Although Angel is also very annoying, when dealing with outsiders, as the greatest Lighthouse Country on Blue Star, we must maintain the dignity between nobles. We cannot engage in internal strife.”

”So, respected Count James, what is your intention?”

”Immediately inform ’Angel’ of the coordinates where Falling Nine Heavens appeared, which are our previous coordinates! Let ’Angel’ go deal with Falling Nine Heavens!”

”This time, we must make that damned number one person of Xia Country pay the price!”

”Follow my orders; do this immediately!”

After a few sentences of discussion, the Lighthouse Country players immediately contacted ”Angel” in the game to arrange their plan... On the other side, Ye Xingyu and the Gold Boss Furious Elf Talia were engaged in a fierce battle between Archers!

This time, Ye Xingyu used multiple buff skills like ”Gale Technique” and ”Limit Frenzy” that he hadn’t even needed to use against the Lighthouse Country players.

He applied a full set of buffs to himself and dueled Talia with his kiting skills!

It must be said that Furious Elf Talia, as a Gold Boss, still unleashed formidable combat power even with only half her health.

Various boss skills emerged endlessly, forcing Ye Xingyu to exert all his strength to dodge.

However, he ultimately had seven years of accumulated Archer experience.

Just by the Elf Talia’s hand movements, he could predict the direction of Talia’s shots and skill releases.

Therefore, during the intense confrontation, the Gold Boss Talia’s health bar continuously decreased.

Finally, after 180 seconds, Furious Elf Talia let out an unwilling scream:

”Ugh ah!!!”

Then her legs gave way, and she suddenly fell to the ground.

”Bang!”

As soon as the Gold Boss died, dazzling golden light immediately burst forth from the spot.

A large pile of gold coins, mixed with numerous equipment and items, exploded from where the boss died.

Countless drops instantly filled one’s vision.

At the same time, a pleasant sound rang out:

”Ding! You have killed the Level 20 Gold Boss Furious Elf Talia! You have gained 4500 personal points!”

”Ding! Congratulations on killing the Level 20 Gold Boss Furious Elf Talia! You have gained 370,000 experience points!”

”Ding! Congratulations, you have leveled up! Your current level is 17! All basic attributes +2, and you have gained 6 free attribute points!”

”Ding! Talent—Golden Dream takes effect! You have plundered 40 Agility!”

Killing the Gold Boss resulted in four consecutive notifications.

At the same time, a familiar golden light enveloped Ye Xingyu’s entire body.

This time, he reaped a huge harvest!

Not only did he level up again shortly after his previous level-up, but he also successfully plundered 40 Agility!

It could be said he made a huge profit!

One must know that 40 Agility would require a player to allocate all points to Agility and level up 5 times to gain that much.

And he gained an extra 40 Agility all at once.

This was the terror of an SSS-grade talent! It possessed unlimited growth potential.

If this continued, his future would be immeasurable!

Moreover, based on these few instances of plundering attributes, Ye Xingyu gradually summarized a pattern.

That is, when killing ordinary monsters, even if he eliminated 300/400/500 ordinary monsters, he might not necessarily plunder attributes once.

The probability of plundering attributes from ordinary monsters was too small!

However, he had so far eliminated two Gold Bosses and two Bronze Bosses.

Each time, he successfully plundered attributes!

And the higher the grade and level of the boss killed, the more attribute points were plundered!

This might be a hidden mechanism within his talent: killing bosses made it easier to plunder attributes than killing ordinary monsters!

This discovery made Ye Xingyu even more interested in bosses! (º ﹃ º )

In the future, he should pay more attention to the whereabouts of bosses (º ﹃ º )

Next, Ye Xingyu headed straight for the boss’s drops!

First, he scooped large handfuls of the gold coins, piled up like a small mountain, into his arms.

Endless ”Gold Coin +1,” ”Gold Coin +10,” ”Gold Coin +7”... prompts continuously sounded in his ears, very pleasant to hear.

When he had dug through one-fifth of the gold mountain, a sharp tip protruded from the pile of gold coins.

Ye Xingyu quickly dug down along the protrusion until most of its body gradually appeared.

It was actually the agile great bow that Elf Talia had wielded earlier!

Talia’s weapon was successfully dropped by Ye Xingyu!

He quickly checked its attributes!
