Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

Dark Star’s intelligence! Quickly reach level 32! Meets advancement requirements.Countless Blue Star people had their strength and lifespan taken away in the war against the Dark Star people.

Their living environment was greatly compressed.

Ultimately, it became one of the important reasons for the destruction of Blue Star.

In this life, Dark Star arrived as expected.

Ye Xingyu took a deep breath.

”In my previous life, I suffered a great loss because I didn’t understand your situation.”

”In this life, that will not happen again!”

Ye Xingyu secretly vowed in his heart.

He would destroy Dark Star in this life!

For now, only Ye Xingyu knew.

The unique talent that Dark Star possessed, while seemingly very intimidating, could seize the strength and lifespan of Blue Star people.

But the cosmic rules showed that it did not favor anyone.

Later, the Blue Star people were pleasantly surprised to discover that after eliminating Dark Star life in the game, they gained the ability to extract game attributes into reality!

The more they killed, the higher the proportion of attributes they could extract!

So, for the Blue Star people, killing Dark Star people also had huge benefits.

They could extract game attributes into reality in advance, thereby coping with the continuously emerging, huge survival crises.

”Very good!”

”The tower of heaven also descended along with it.”

”That is a good place to improve one’s strength.”

”It seems I need to be more serious from now on.”

Ye Xingyu was silent alone in the dark night.

His next plan gradually became clear in his mind... Outside.

Countless players were very unaccustomed to being uniformly kicked out of the game and back into real life at this time.

Many game players walked out of their homes and ran to the offline stores opened in various cities under the Teng Yi Mi Group.

They cursed all the industries belonging to the Teng Yi Mi Group:

”Trash Teng Yi Mi Group! You ruined my youth and wasted my time! When can you let me into the game!?”

”Is this broken game going to open or not?”

”Why the sudden update?”

”Why did you suddenly kick everyone out of the game?”

”Don’t be a coward!”

”Give us an answer! When can we get in?”

...”Trash Teng Yi Mi Group! You pretended to update the game and deliberately stole my legendary golden item!”

”Do you know how hard it was for me to get a golden weapon?”

”Who will compensate me for my equipment loss?”

”I’ll f*ck your mom!”

...”What a crappy company! What crappy operations! What crappy game planning!”

”They actually said it would take 1 to 24 hours to complete the update?”

”Such a long, uncertain time, are you treating us players like monkeys?”

”Your employees get such high salaries, but you can’t even figure out an update time, right!”

...The angry people, for a time, vented all their fury on the game company.

The ordinary frontline employees on duty at the Teng Yi Mi Group were all in a frenzy.

They had to handle hundreds of millions of complaints in a short time.

Everyone was swamped.

But then someone couldn’t help but wonder:

”Strange?”

”We ordinary frontline employees are almost exhausted dealing with this.”

”Why haven’t the group’s management come out to give an explanation?”

”Not even an internal meeting has been called?”

”This... is a bit unusual...”

In fact, the senior executives of the Teng Yi Mi Group had been hypnotized by the mental control technology developed by the Galactic Alliance for more than a month or two by this time.

Of course, no one would heed the players’ demands.

The next morning, the game still hadn’t recovered in time.

When the stock market opened that day, the Teng Yi Mi Group’s stock price instantly collapsed!

Like an incontinent baby unable to fully control its body, it plummeted like a torrent in an instant.

The stock price hit its daily limit down!

Morning News:

”Here’s a breaking stock market news update:

The stock price of the nation’s largest Teng Yi Mi Group plunged today,

dropping sharply by more than 10% within 10 minutes!

Affected by this,

Teng Yi Mi Group’s market value evaporated by over 1 trillion today!

This is an unprecedented situation since the company’s establishment.

Reporters randomly interviewed people on the street,

and almost all respondents applauded the news.

It must be said that this phenomenon is very rare.

Some analysts pointed out that

it might be due to the sudden temporary update of Teng Yi Mi Group’s famous online game, Deep Space Game, yesterday,

which led to the sharp fall in stock price.”

...It wasn’t until 10:40 AM that a streamer on the Douyin platform, just trying it out, suddenly discovered with surprise that he had entered the game.

Thus, the vast number of players who couldn’t wait to play deep space rushed into the game.

The news quickly spread.

Ye Xingyu had prepared early.

Upon receiving the intelligence that the game update was ready, he immediately entered the game.

”Ding! Esteemed player, welcome back to deep space~”

”Ugh...”

Ye Xingyu took a deep breath.

The environment in the game hadn’t changed yet.

However, when he gazed into the distance, careful observers could notice that, far on the horizon, in the direction of the sky, a tiny black line seemed to suddenly descend from the heavens!

Currently, the width of that black line was still very small.

If one didn’t look carefully, it could almost be completely ignored.

But a black line was a black line.

From the distant horizon, a faint, tiny black line subtly darkened this world.

Change had already occurred.

The closer to the horizon, the more areas were darkened by the change.

Ye Xingyu knew that this change was naturally caused by the arrival of Dark Star, and it would gradually spread to wider areas.

At this moment, it was only the very beginning of Dark Star’s arrival.

Later, humans would collide with Dark Star’s alien creatures more and more frequently.

At that time, the distance to humanity’s life and death would also grow shorter and shorter.

At this moment, the most important thing was to quickly improve one’s strength.

If one’s own strength was strong, then one would not fear encountering enemies from alien planets.

Ye Xingyu’s current location was still in the Gale Wilderness.

The number of players currently online had decreased by more than half compared to before.

With fewer players, the proportion of monsters still alive naturally increased.

So, the Gale Wilderness was currently roamed by large hordes and packs of Qinggang Wolves.

Adult and young ones were mixed together in large groups.

So, Ye Xingyu let loose his arms and slaughtered freely in the Gale Wilderness.

He encountered any pack of Qinggang Wolves and eliminated them all without holding back!

”Fire Flame Strength!”

”Chain Burst Arrow!”

”Multiple Arrow Rain!”

”Flowing Light Flying Pick-up!”

”Ultimate Attainment: Entangling Thorn Arrow!”

...Countless area-of-effect skills were unleashed upon the wolf packs.

With Ye Xingyu’s high attack power, and having just supplemented with two purple gold artifacts, dealing with the wolf packs here was more than enough!

Any group damage skill thrown out could instantly kill swathes of Qinggang Wolf packs.

Leveling up, farming small monsters... for the current Ye Xingyu, it couldn’t be easier.

He continuously drew his bow and fired arrows.

Within his field of vision, no Qinggang Wolf could escape the hunt of his arrows!

The numbers floating above the Qinggang Wolves’ heads were never seen below 11,000.

All Qinggang Wolves were instantly killed!

At the same time, Ye Xingyu’s ears were continuously filled with notifications:

”Hint: Killed an adult Qinggang Wolf, gained 480 experience points.”

”Hint: Killed an adult Qinggang Wolf, gained 480 experience points.”

...Because Ye Xingyu had received a King-level experience bonus buff (permanent) after establishing the ”Lords Fall” guild, all experience gained from monster farming enjoyed an additional 25% value bonus effect.

Therefore, his leveling efficiency, even when farming the same quantity of monsters, was 25% higher than that of the majority of non-”Lords Fall” guild players.

With such an advantage, Ye Xingyu almost mindlessly pushed forward through the map.

A vast number of Qinggang Wolves perished by his hand.

And as time went on,

”Swish!”

A golden light fell upon Ye Xingyu.

30 → 31!

...After another period of time,

”Swish!”

A familiar golden light once again descended upon Ye Xingyu.

A pleasant sound immediately rang out:

”Ding! Congratulations on leveling up! Your current level is 32! All basic attributes +2, and you gain 6 free attribute points!”

Only after this sound rang out did Ye Xingyu stop.

He opened his mouth and exhaled: ”Phew... Finally done.”

He leveled up to 32.

Then he immediately took out the ”Wind God’s Boots” from his backpack, which he had just met the requirements to wear, and put them on.

Replacing his previous silver grade shoes, his personal attributes increased by another notch.

And now, most importantly, Ye Xingyu had finally gathered a full set of dark gold grade and above equipment.

The requirements for both accessories were also met simultaneously.

Ye Xingyu finally had the conditions to complete his class advancement! (✪ω✪)

This matter was the most crucial for him right now, especially with Dark Star’s powerful invasion of Blue Star!

His increase in strength became even more important.

”Let’s go!”

With a flash of white light, Ye Xingyu neatly tore up a return-to-city scroll.

A swift gleam sent him back to the city.

The large number of Qinggang Wolves living in the Gale Wilderness could finally breathe a sigh of relief >v<

...After returning to the city, Ye Xingyu rushed non-stop to the Advancement Temple.

To complete a class advancement, he had to make a trip there.

On his way to the Advancement Temple, Ye Xingyu also bought all the daily purchasable attributes.

Thus, his five basic attributes once again saw surprising changes:

Strength 796 → 856

Agility 762 → 822

Intelligence 427 → 487

Spirit 445 → 505

Constitution 520 → 580
