Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

Battle against the Oasis Watchers! A catastrophe for the players!Among the seven thousand players currently attacking the Oasis Watcher, most were unattached solo players.

There were also 10 small player teams, each with 100 to 300 members.

Led by their respective guild leaders, they launched an organized assault on the boss!

The attacks from solo players were more chaotic.

Most of them would only seize the opportunity to rush forward and cast one or two spells on the boss whenever they saw an opening.

The equipment on most solo players was not good enough.

Their damage to the boss was more like tickling it.

Therefore, after such a long time, Ye Xingyu saw the Oasis Watcher still looking lively and full of energy.

The Oasis Watcher delivered a fierce pounce, instantly eliminating a hundred players in the area directly in front of him!

This immediately drew exclamations from the players:

”Whoa!”

”The boss’s aggression is so strong!”

Dozens of players who had just arrived nearby immediately couldn’t help but cast Detection Spell on the boss from a distance!

Ye Xingyu was no exception.

He first checked the boss’s attributes!

”Oasis Watcher!”

After viewing the boss’s attributes, thousands of players who had just arrived nearby, most of them couldn’t help but gasp in shock:

”Hiss—! The Oasis Watcher has 4.1 million health!”

”3700 attack power, and a defense of around 2000!”

”Besides lightning and fire attributes, he also has extra resistance to other elemental magic attacks.”

”Truly worthy of being a purple gold grade area boss.”

”The Oasis Watcher’s attributes are so strong!”

”This is a purple gold grade boss! Much stronger than the Gold Boss we saw before!”

”Surely everyone knows that the higher the boss’s grade, the more attribute bonuses it gets, right?”

...The players’ discussion about the Oasis Watcher boss couldn’t stop for a while.

Many people said:

”No wonder many of the players couldn’t even break the boss’s defense!”

”The boss’s defense is so high! I just realized I don’t even have over two thousand attack power. It’s over! I can’t fight this boss at all. It seems I came here for nothing today!”

There were also many players who, after arriving at the scene, realized they couldn’t even break the boss’s defense.

Before the boss’s defense was broken, many players’ own spirits were broken first!

”Wuwuwu... (＞︵＜) How good must the equipment of those players who can penetrate the boss’s defense be?”

”I... just realized I’m useless... o(＞﹏＜)o”

Different players, after witnessing the boss’s might firsthand, had different feelings... Compared to most players present, Ye Xingyu’s expression remained unchanged.

Good.

The boss’s defense was still within his tolerable range.

And what surprised him a little was that most biological monsters had a certain fear of lightning and fire attributes.

Even the Oasis Watcher in front of him was no exception.

This gave Ye Xingyu, who currently focused on fire attribute output, a slight advantage.

It boosted his confidence... There were also many players on the scene who were elites, having played hundreds or thousands of different games.

Naturally, like Ye Xingyu, they immediately spotted the boss’s relatively weak points.

Someone in the crowd immediately stood out and shouted loudly:

”This boss is weak to fire and lightning!”

”Using fire and lightning attribute skills will be more effective!”

”Everyone, quickly gather more fire and lightning attribute mages, as well as players with fire and lightning skills.”

”The boss still has more than half his health, let’s temporarily join forces and work together!”

”No one can defeat the boss alone.”

”So, the boss’s rewards can only be discussed after he’s defeated!”

...Many players found this reasonable and stepped forward to respond:

”Right, right! Let’s listen to him, kill the boss first!”

...While the players were communicating with each other, the Oasis Watcher forcefully spread his wings.

From them, hundreds of grass-green spore orbs were launched!

These spore orbs, each about the size of an adult’s fist, instantly killed over 300 people!

Immediately clearing out a section of the ground around the boss.

”Whoa!”

Countless people exclaimed:

”The boss’s skill damage is so high! He can instantly kill us!”

”Everyone, please pay attention to dodging!”

Many players shrieked and dodged, fearing being hit by the boss’s skills.

Just then, a new team of three hundred players actively advanced ten steps, taking the place of the previously deceased players.

Their leader shouted, ”Volley!”

A total of 300 mages with lightning and fire attributes simultaneously aimed their staffs at the boss, the Oasis Watcher.

The next second, over three hundred massive fireballs, lightning balls, giant fire snakes, chain lightning... and other lightning and fire attribute spells, simultaneously launched a volley towards the Oasis Watcher!

”Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...”

A large number of fireballs, lightning balls, fire snakes, chain lightning... descended upon the boss!

Instantly igniting large sections of the boss’s body with flames and crackling lightning effects!

”-100!”

”-104!”

”-99!”

”-102!”

”-44!”

...Large numbers of varying damage figures immediately rose continuously from above the head of the boss, the Oasis Watcher!

Most of the damage was around 100.

Occasionally, one or two particularly high numbers would appear, even reaching 200+ or 300+!

However, the number of players capable of dealing such damage was extremely small.

The new three-hundred-person group that stepped forward was clearly from an elite team.

All members’ equipment surpassed the average level, and they also possessed excellent lightning and fire attribute magic.

This volley instantly depleted over 34,000 health from the boss, the Oasis Watcher, reducing his health to below 4 million.

Seeing the effect of the players’ attack, many players present were immediately encouraged.

Some cheered with joy:

”There’s hope!”

”We finally knocked off 100,000 health from the boss! It took so long, keep up the effort!”

”Everyone, don’t be afraid! We have tens of thousands of people, as the saying goes, ’many ants can kill an elephant’!”

”Since we can knock off 100,000 of the boss’s health, there’s definitely hope of taking down the remaining less than 4 million health!”

”Let’s all work together!”

Encouraged by some, the players’ subsequent offensive against the Oasis Watcher intensified significantly!

More and more players who had initially stood by joined the battle, working together to fight the boss.

Just then, the Oasis Watcher’s entire body violently rippled, and he suddenly raised his wings upwards!

”Feathered Arrow!”

”Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh!!!!”

Countless boss feathers shot out like sharp arrows, scattering into the surrounding crowd in the blink of an eye.

”-7840!”

”-7652!”

”-7916!”

”-7774!”

...”Ah ah ah ah ah ah!!!!”

”The boss’s damage is so high!”

”Everyone, pay attention to dodging!”

Massive damage exceeding 7,000+ fell upon the players’ heads, instantly illuminating the crowd with dazzling white lights.

More than half of the players within a hundred-meter radius died instantly!

Some warriors and knights with high health and defense, who luckily survived, were still covered in flames, taking continuous burning damage.

”Whoa!”

Countless people were shocked!

The boss actually reflected a large amount of the flames burning on his body back onto the players through Feathered Arrow, making the players endure the burning damage of the flames for him!

”This boss can reflect the fire damage we inflict on him back to us through his skills!”

Countless players were shocked!

”As expected of a purple gold grade area boss! His methods are extraordinary!”

This wave of Feathered Arrow hits resulted in over 500 player deaths!

Nearly a hundred tank players also lost most of their health.

The Oasis Watcher instantly severely dampened the players’ morale.

At the same time, he let out a piercing shriek, then launched another fierce pounce at the distant players!

The boss’s momentum grew even stronger for a time!

A group of players who dared to block him were surrounded by a row of green thorns released by the Oasis Watcher.

Players trapped by the thorns took 700+ continuous bleeding damage per second, dying one after another in just a few seconds!

Countless players screamed and retreated:

”The boss has gone berserk!”

”Let’s temporarily avoid his sharp edge!”

Who knew, facing the distant enemies, the Oasis Watcher immediately opened his massive maw.

A concentrated green light flickered in his mouth for a second, then an arrow composed purely of green plant-based energy erupted from his mouth!

”Whoosh!”

The green arrow was like a light spear!

In just two short seconds, it easily pierced through over a hundred players in a straight line!

Over 100 more people were instantly killed, with green numbers exceeding 10,000 appearing above their heads!

Countless players cried out in panic:

”The purple-gold boss’s damage output is too high!”

”We can’t withstand it at all!”

...Under the fierce barrage of the boss Oasis Watcher’s combo, the number of deceased players skyrocketed, easily surpassing 1,000.

The remaining players almost all showed expressions of terror.

Morale among the players plummeted.

Almost everyone still within a thousand meters of the boss had faces full of fear.

”No, no! The boss is too powerful! We can’t fight him right now!”

”Run! If you’re slow, you’ll lose a level!”

...Many players, seeing the dire situation, began to back down.
