Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

Trying to take advantage of the situation? Let them try! However.

Unlike the almost universal optimism of ordinary players, War God 3, as the battlefield commander, instantly sensed that something was wrong!

In the previous damage distribution to the boss, the Mage Corps accounted for over 95% of the damage!

The Warrior Corps and Archer Corps of the War God Guild, totaling over 6,000 members, accounted for less than 5% of the damage dealt to the boss!

The other 95% of the damage was entirely contributed by the Mage Corps!

This was something he had rarely encountered in his 10-plus years of commanding.

Unless it was a boss completely immune to physical output!

War God 3, along with War God, War God 2, War God 4, and several other leaders who were leading the charge, almost simultaneously realized the problem!

”The Oasis Watcher’s physical defense exceeds 2200! For most Archer and Warrior players, it’s impossible to break through its defense! This means that most of the Archer Corps and Warrior Corps can’t deal any damage to the boss!”

”But the boss’s magic defense is at least 500 points lower than its physical defense! Therefore, Mages can break through its defense more easily!”

Several leaders of the War God Guild deeply analyzed the Mage Corps’ damage contribution and found that:

”Lightning and Fire attribute Mages contributed most of the Mage Corps’ damage.”

”Grass and Wind attribute Mages could only deal 0 damage, or at most a dozen points of damage, to the boss!”

”It seems that to defeat the boss today, we can only rely on the Lightning and Fire Mages in the Guild! And the Ice and Water attribute Mages will contribute a small amount of damage.”

The leaders with numerical IDs in the War God Guild all possessed extremely rich experience.

Therefore, they reached a conclusion at a glance!

The command changed accordingly.

The Lightning and Fire attribute Mage Corps went all out with their output!

The Archer Corps provided suppressive fire! Although it wasn’t very effective.

The Warrior Corps moved around the boss.

At critical moments, they would step up to share damage for the tanks... The War God Guild arranged everything in an orderly fashion.

All healing and supplies were prioritized for Mages who could deal damage.

The priority of other teams was significantly reduced.

Especially the Lightning and Fire attribute Mages.

And other professional players with special Lightning and Fire skills.

All of them exerted themselves to the fullest, aiming all their output at the boss!

”-311!”

”-225!”

”-116!”

”-234!”

...Many Mages unleashed all their skills on the boss in rotation!

Instantly.

The Oasis Watcher’s health was reduced by another 600,000 or more!

”Cackle!!!!!!!”

The Oasis Watcher let out a sharp shriek, throwing its head back!

It swept forcefully around it!

Its massive body instantly sent 50 tanks surrounding it flying!

Immediately after.

A strong green light flashed in the boss’s pupils!

It lunged at 12 elite tank players directly in front, lowered its head, flicked its tail, and stomped down heavily once or twice with its large feet!

”Stomp Smash!”

The boss’s smooth combo instantly left these elite tank players dizzy and unable to retaliate.

At the same time, a series of damage numbers rose above everyone’s heads:

”-3024!”

”-3022!”

”-3316!”

...”Whoosh—!”

A large number of players who witnessed this scene instantly became excited!

Especially more than half of the players who were watching.

Everyone discussed excitedly:

”Hahahahahaha! (*╹▽╹*) ”

”This is the damage after the boss gets angry!?”

”The average health of these elite tanks is over 30,000 points!”

”The boss’s entire combo only took down less than one-third of their health.”

”A slight heal from a Healer, and their health returns to a healthy state.”

”I have to say, the quality of the tanks trained by the War God Guild is really high!”

”Look at the Healers behind them! They’re even hesitating whether to heal them! Because their remaining health is still above 50%!”

”Hahahahaha!”

”The purple gold grade boss is too underwhelming!”

”It seems it will be conquered by the War God Guild very soon!”

...Some players waiting on the sidelines, seeing the War God Guild’s momentum, gradually became restless!

Seeing the boss weaken.

Most of the onlookers.

Had the idea of taking advantage of the situation and fishing in troubled waters.

”We can’t let all the benefits be taken by the War God Guild alone!”

”Otherwise, if the War God Guild gets rich by taking down this purple-gold boss, won’t we be even more unable to compete with them in the future!?”

...”I don’t have any intention of weakening the War God Guild; I’m just a lone wolf, I just want to take the opportunity to secretly get one or two purple gold artifacts! I’ll stay out of your big Guild’s affairs.”

...Different people held different ideas.

But their choice at this moment.

Was to rush into the battlefield at the same time!

Actively approaching the boss!

Many players who were originally watching.

Chose to rush in at this time to share the spoils!

Anyway, there were over 30,000 onlookers.

If it was just the War God Guild.

How could it manage so many people!?

A single spit from each person would be enough to drown it!

At this moment.

Countless people pushed forward!

Because there was hope of defeating the boss!

This naturally included a considerable number of Guilds, big and small.

Goddess Daji led the newly recruited 10,000 official Guild members and probationary Guild members.

Pushing their way in front of the boss without question!

She herself politely waved and smiled at the War God Guild Leader, greeting him:

”Guild Leader War God, I offer my greetings~ The purple-gold boss is for all who see it. Guild Leader War God wouldn’t blame me for today’s events, would he?”

”Uh, hehehe~~~”

After speaking, she led the Goddess Palace Guild members to forcefully occupy advantageous terrain.

The Guild Leaders of Lightning Roar, Robin, God of War, Golden Dragon, Emperor, and other Guilds, big and small.

Their actions were almost identical to Goddess Daji’s earlier.

They unhesitatingly occupied one side of the boss!

Focusing on waiting for the final moment to snatch the loot!

And countless rogue players with dreams... At this moment.

Almost all players within a two-kilometer radius of the boss.

Entered the fray personally.

There was no longer any talk of merely watching.

War God 3, War God 4, War God 5, War God 6, War God 7, War God 8, and several other leaders.

Seeing this situation, approached Guild Leader War God in unison.

Everyone frowned deeply and quietly asked the Guild Leader:

”Big Brother! What do we do now?”

”Tens of thousands of people are waiting to kill the boss and grab equipment!”

”Given this situation, the final spoils might not even go to us, who contributed the most!”

”You must have a plan, right!?”

Facing such a dire situation.

Guild Leader War God’s reaction was unexpected.

He calmly instructed:

”Everyone, don’t be anxious! The boss hasn’t been completely dealt with yet!”

”Why is everyone thinking about dividing things?”

”Do you think fighting a boss is easy?”

”Everyone go back, take your positions! Do your own jobs!”

”We won’t concern ourselves with other players!”

”Even if they cling to the boss, our War God Guild players won’t meddle!”

Although his words somewhat surprised his brothers.

Their long-standing cooperation.

Still made everyone return to their original positions.

War God then showed a hint of worry in his eyes.

However, what he was worried about.

Was not being robbed of equipment by others!

But that the boss fight was becoming increasingly difficult!

The Mage Corps’ two previous bursts.

Had thrown out all their skills in one go.

That’s why they reduced the boss’s health by about 1.3 million in a short time.

Now all of the Mage Corps’ skills were on cooldown.

Only a small portion of low-damage small skills could be used again.

This led to a severe drop in output capability!

Now, these newly joined players.

Could just make up for the War God Guild’s current lack of firepower.

This was Guild Leader War God.

The actual reason why he generously allowed other players to enter and share the spoils!

When someone asked Guild Leader War God why he let others fish in troubled waters.

Guild Leader War God simply said, ”Let them fish!”
