The third wave of attack! Howling Moon Silver WolfSeeing the Jun Luo Guild facing the infamous monster stronghold, Emerald Garden, still displaying a relaxed and capable demeanor, the players who had traveled a long distance to watch the excitement gradually couldn’t hold back.

Their hearts began to stir.

Someone, standing as an observer, spoke bluntly:

”Damn it! This monster siege upfront looks a bit boring!”

”I wonder when the real old monsters lurking in Emerald Garden will appear?”

”It would be great if all the monsters attacked at once!”

”The first two waves of monsters aren’t very strong!”

Many other players nearby echoed:

”Exactly! The Jun Luo Guild is the second largest guild in Xia, after all. They should at least have some stronger monsters!”

”At this rate, the Jun Luo Guild will probably defend it very easily.”

”I really don’t want to see the Jun Luo Guild succeed in building their village, sigh!”

”Who told them to reject my guild application?”

...The crowd continued to voice their opinions.

A dozen seconds later,

A sharp-eyed player immediately shouted, ”Everyone look! The Jun Luo Guild’s hard times are about to begin!”

”The third wave of monsters is attacking!”

...His words immediately caught everyone’s attention.

People looked in the direction he pointed, anticipating.

”Let me see! What kind of monsters are going to attack the Jun Luo Guild’s stronghold?”

”It would be great if a few gold-grade BOSSes came!”

...Bai He’s intelligence team also immediately noticed the situation.

Luoshu quickly reported as soon as the third wave of monsters appeared:

”Sister Bai, the third wave is level 35 Howling Moon Silver Wolves!”

”They have low physical and magical defense, but they are fast and have high attack!”

”When a teammate dies nearby, the Howling Moon Silver Wolves’ critical hit rate collectively increases by 10%!”

Bai He had already reviewed this information beforehand.

Luoshu’s reminder at this moment instantly made Bai He’s impression clearer.

Bai He quickly issued commands through the guild voice chat:

”The Mage Corps and Archer Corps are to collectively wait until 50% of the Howling Moon Silver Wolf pack enters attack range before simultaneously attacking!”

”The Warrior Corps and Knight Corps are to prepare to engage in battle in front of the city! Be sure to defend against the monsters’ attack!”

”Priests, fully heal and restore health to the Warriors and Knights engaging on the ground.”

”Everyone pay attention! Howling Moon Silver Wolves will temporarily increase their movement speed by 25% after being hit! They will quickly approach the Warrior Corps’ formation!”

”When their companions die, they will also gain a 10% critical hit rate increase for 15 seconds!”

...A series of reminders and commands were issued.

Instantly, all members of the Jun Luo Guild understood the Howling Moon Silver Wolves’ strengths, weaknesses, and countermeasures.

The level 35 Howling Moon Silver Wolf pack rapidly approached the Jun Luo Guild’s defensive position like a broad silver current!

The Howling Moon Silver Wolves were seven feet tall, covered in silver fur.

They looked majestic!

The Jun Luo Guild’s Mage and Archer players standing on the surrounding high slopes and city walls all held their breath.

They patiently waited for half of the Howling Moon Silver Wolves to pass through the Jun Luo Guild’s firing line.

Finally!

When approximately 50% of the Howling Moon Silver Wolf pack rushed into range,

Baili Shouyue, the leader of the Archer Corps, sharply roared, ”Fire!”

”Boom!”

Instantly,

Countless colored magical attacks all flew towards the Howling Moon Silver Wolves at once!

”Meteor Fire Shower!”

”Lightning Storm!”

”Ice and Snow World!”

”Earthquake!”

...At the same time, a dense shower of Arrow Rain descended upon the Howling Moon Silver Wolves!

”Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh!!!!!”

...The first wave of concentrated fire from the Jun Luo Guild’s Mage Corps and Archer Corps immediately dealt a heavy blow to the Howling Moon Silver Wolves!

Approximately 15% of the Howling Moon Silver Wolves died on the spot in the magic rain and Arrow Rain!

Another 30% or so also suffered varying degrees of damage.

For a first wave of concentrated fire,

This was already a very good result!

However,

This was just the opinion of a large number of ordinary players.

Luoshu, Ye Xingyu, Baili Shouyue, and other more experienced veteran players, upon seeing this,

Couldn’t help but slightly furrow their brows.

15%.

This number was a bit low!

Because in any group,

The first wave of attack is often the sharpest and most unexpected.

It is also the one that yields the greatest benefit!

Later on,

Mages and Archers would face many issues such as mana regeneration, arrow replenishment, skill cooldowns, decreased concentration, and so on.

It would be impossible to maintain the same state as the first concentrated fire on the monsters.

Which means a decrease in firepower!

Therefore, the success rate of the first wave of concentrated fire

Often determines the ultimate outcome of a battle.

This is absolutely based on experience.

According to Ye Xingyu’s experience,

In a crushing victory,

The damage dealt to the target by the first concentrated fire should reach at least 30% to win the entire battle relatively easily.

And the current result of 15%

Seems to imply that

If the Jun Luo Guild wants to eliminate the Howling Moon Silver Wolves,

It seems they will have to pay a considerable price!

The facts were exactly as a few, like Luoshu and Ye Xingyu, had expected.

After the first 15% of Howling Moon Silver Wolves died,

The remaining 85% of Howling Moon Silver Wolves immediately turned red-eyed!

The pupils of all Howling Moon Silver Wolves turned a blood-red color!

At the same time, they bared their teeth, revealing sharp fangs,

And the muscles on their necks and limbs all swelled up!

The Howling Moon Silver Wolves had changed!

Their critical hit rate and movement speed temporarily burst by 10% and 25% respectively!

”┗|｀O′|┛ Awoo~~~~~~~”

The leading Howling Moon Silver Wolves collectively let out a loud howl!

All Howling Moon Silver Wolves charged!

They sprinted hard towards their targets!

They quickly collided with the Jun Luo Guild’s Warrior Corps and Knight Corps players at a visible speed!

The two sides engaged in close combat!

Since the monster siege began,

This was the first time monsters had managed to get close to the Warrior Corps and Knight Corps.

A melee, more intense and exciting than previous battles, immediately began!

A large number of onlookers, seeing the Howling Moon Silver Wolves finally make a breakthrough,

Clapped their hands and cheered:

”Holy crap! Awesome! That’s f***ing awesome!”

”Finally, some monsters can breach the Jun Luo Guild’s defenses!”

”They can cause casualties to the Jun Luo Guild~!”

”Hahahaha (*╹▽╹*)! This kind of monster siege is exciting!”

”So satisfying~!”
