Special Forces Soldier: Me, the Number One Troublemaker of Wolf Fang

97: Chapter 97 A complete disgrace to the Wolf FangJust then, the platoon leaders of the first and second platoons walked into the tent with faces full of dejection.

Then, the expressions of Company Commander Miao, the fifth platoon leader, and Tang Xinyi all changed instantly.

Seeing them like this, who wouldn’t understand what had happened?

Clearly, their encirclement and suppression of Dragon Blade must have failed; otherwise, they wouldn’t have such expressions.

”Company Commander Miao...”

”Company Commander Miao, we have shamed the Night Tiger Reconnaissance Company. We failed.”

The platoon leaders of the first and second platoons spoke with extreme bitterness, their faces flushed red and stinging as if they had been slapped hard. It was too painful.

”So...”

Company Commander Miao’s face was also flushed, as if he had suffered a great humiliation. Only after a long time did he speak: ”How many from Dragon Blade escaped?”

”A total of three,” the first platoon leader said honestly.

”Three, huh? You still have the face to say that? There were only fucking six of them in total, and half of them got away. How many did we lose?”

”The men of the first and second platoons... were completely wiped out.” The first platoon leader was too ashamed to speak, so the second platoon leader finally answered.

Hearing this, Company Commander Miao was completely speechless.

”Good, very good.”

”The first, second, third, and fourth platoons added up to about a hundred people. And in the end, dealing with a six-man Special Forces squad, you actually... failed?”

Company Commander Miao thought about it and felt it was simply impossible.

It was too ridiculous... When had their Night Tiger Reconnaissance Company ever had such a disastrous record? Even when they faced Lone Wolf Group B in a head-on confrontation, it had never been this tragic.

Wait.

Lone Wolf Group B?

He had forgotten them; they had also been directly eliminated by Dragon Blade.

Tang Xinyi stood by, shocked into silence. Dragon Blade’s strength was unheard of to her. Even in the history of various exercises, Dragon Blade had likely created the smallest casualty ratio.

”We were close, just a little bit away from surrounding those two from Dragon Blade. Then, for some reason, someone suddenly lunged out from behind, and the plan failed.” The first platoon leader still felt it was a great pity.

Company Commander Miao sighed: ”Forget it... forget it! I won’t say anything more, because the person who ambushed you was the same one who decapitated me...”

”Forget it, forget it.”

Company Commander Miao shook his head with a face of defeat, then picked up a phone, took a deep breath, and called Gao Shiwei.

Beep—

After the call connected, Gao Shiwei asked: ”Company Commander Miao? Well, what’s the current battle situation? Tell me all about it. What stage has it reached, or have you already completely wiped out Dragon Blade?”

If Dragon Blade were wiped out, Gao Shiwei wouldn’t be surprised; it could even be said to be quite reasonable. It was normal for a reinforced company plus a Special Forces squad to wipe them out. After all, Dragon Blade members were only human, not gods.

Company Commander Miao was silent for a moment until Gao Shiwei asked in confusion: ”What’s wrong?”

”Chief, our Night Tiger has been defeated.”

Hearing this news, even someone with Gao Shiwei’s composure couldn’t help but be shocked. They had failed?

”How is that possible? Your Night Tiger failed?!”

Gao Shiwei was also a bit incredulous. He had confidence in Yang Han’s strength, but this encirclement exercise was completely different; Yang Han’s chances of winning were far too slim.

”Yes, the first, second, third, and fourth platoons of Night Tiger were all killed, and Lone Wolf Group B was also wiped out,” Miao Lang reported. ”As for Dragon Blade, they lost a total of three people. They should have broken through by now.”

This casualty count had reached a ridiculous, heaven-defying level. Gao Shiwei’s voice suddenly rose: ”Are you serious?!”

”Chief, I wouldn’t dare lie to you,” Company Commander Miao said bitterly. He also wished it were fake, but it had happened, so how could he deny it? This was the ugliest day in the history of the Night Tiger Reconnaissance Company, the most shameful day, one that everyone should remember...

”Hiss...” Gao Shiwei couldn’t help but suck in a breath of cold air. After a long while, he exclaimed: ”That kid Yang Han has given me a huge surprise!”

His tone even held a hint of excitement because Yang Han had succeeded. He had broken through the encirclement of the Night Tiger Reconnaissance Company and Lone Wolf Group B. And it wasn’t just a breakthrough; he had almost completely annihilated both units.

”This time, your Night Tiger needs to properly discuss its own problems, do you understand?”

Gao Shiwei instructed.

”I understand...” Company Commander Miao sighed.

Gao Shiwei added: ”By the way, isn’t Xiao Tang also with you? She brought you that improved Anti-Sniper Penetration System. How effective was it?”

Tang Xinyi immediately became nervous upon hearing this. They had still lost... In Gao Shiwei’s eyes, would it seem like her Anti-Sniper Penetration System was useless?

Company Commander Miao quickly said: ”Rest assured, Chief, the system Lieutenant Tang brought is very powerful. It was just our own problem.”

”In that case, find your own problems properly, do you understand!”

Gao Shiwei barked.

...

The entire Lone Wolf Group B returned to the Wolf Fang Special Operations Brigade.

Fan Tianlei and Old Gao were waiting at the airfield with smiling faces.

When all of Lone Wolf Group B appeared, Fan Tianlei was stunned, and Old Gao also frowned. They noticed something was wrong.

The members of Lone Wolf Group B were all dispirited, like frost-bitten eggplants.

”What happened?”

Fan Tianlei couldn’t help but ask as Geng Jihui and the others approached.

”We... were eliminated.”

Geng Jihui said heavily.

Fan Tianlei’s expression changed. Eliminated... This was Lone Wolf Group B! A Special Forces squad more dynamic than Lone Wolf Group A, one that many believed would far surpass Lone Wolf Group A in the future.

But he hadn’t expected such a powerful Special Forces squad to actually be eliminated by Dragon Blade.

Old Gao also felt uncomfortable because all the members of Lone Wolf Group B had been personally trained by him.

”Xiao Zhuang, how many of the opposition did you eliminate?” Old Gao looked at Xiao Zhuang. This man was a rebel with very strong skills, who had left a deep impression on Old Gao during the Special Forces selection.

This question made the cold-faced Xiao Zhuang’s expression twitch, and he remained silent, while the others’ faces also turned ugly.

Finally, Geng Jihui spoke: ”Not a single one. We were tricked. Dragon Blade set a trap for us, and we...”

”This is outrageous!”

Fan Tianlei’s face darkened as he barked: ”What are you? You’re Lone Wolf Group B! How can you be so weak? Losing is fine, I allow you to lose, but I don’t allow you to lose this miserably, this shamelessly.”

”You have simply thrown away the face of our Wolf Fang...”

At this point, Fan Tianlei’s expression suddenly changed because he remembered that he himself had suffered a major setback at Yang Han’s hands... If Lone Wolf Group B had lost face for Wolf Fang, then what about him, Fan Tianlei?

In Gao Shiwei’s office, a brand-new box arrived before him.

”Tsk, Yang Han completed the mission. Next, he must welcome his own rank of Major.”

”However, Night Tiger and Lone Wolf lost too miserably this time; it’s simply hard to look at. For Yang Han’s commissioning ceremony, I think I’ll have to invite them over,” Gao Shiwei thought to himself.
