Special Forces Soldier: Me, the Number One Troublemaker of Wolf Fang

85: Chapter 85 We Cannot Sit and Wait for Death”What?”

”Are you crazy!”

He Zhijun immediately couldn’t help but say, ”Do you know how far that distance is? It’s over forty kilometers. Forty kilometers! This isn’t running; this is swimming. And you’re also carrying equipment—this is a combat swim!”

”The difficulty is far beyond your imagination. Thinking you can just swim across is pure fantasy. Even veterans from the Marine Corps with over a decade of experience couldn’t do it.”

He Zhijun suspected there was something wrong with his ears. What kind of stunt was Yang Han trying to pull? He completely couldn’t understand it.

Lei Zhan also said, ”This isn’t an exercise. The people on the other side aren’t our own; they are internationally notorious, vicious thugs—pirates! If you go over there now and get discovered, death is all that awaits you.”

”Do you know what death is? Kid!”

Lei Zhan shouted bluntly, feeling that Yang Han was just here to cause trouble.

Yang Han glanced at him and said indifferently, ”Of course I do.”

Lei Zhan sneered, fearing that he didn’t know what death was at all.

Gray Wolf spoke up, ”If you are discovered, Thomas will likely be enraged and will probably execute one of them to intimidate us!”

”Have you thought about the consequences?”

The three men’s words had indeed hit the nail on the head. However.

Yang Han said in a deep voice, ”I am simply carrying out Commander Gao Shiwei’s orders!”

”I promised Commander Gao Shiwei that I would rescue Fan Tianlei and the other eight, and I will definitely be able to do it.”

After speaking, Yang Han didn’t wait for He Zhijun and the others to respond; he jumped directly into the water and started swimming with a splash.

”Madman!”

”He’s overestimating himself.”

”Sigh...”

The three of them, including He Zhijun, were somewhat angry.

They couldn’t stop Yang Han, so what else could they do? They couldn’t just shoot him right now.

He Zhijun immediately called Gao Shiwei; he wanted to see if this really was Gao Shiwei’s order.

After the call connected, He Zhijun said in a low voice, ”Chief! Was that Yang Han sent by you?”

”That’s right. I sent him to carry out the mission because the Thunderbolt Assault Team and Lone Wolf Group A are too conspicuous. Of course, I believe a joint mission is the best course of action,” Gao Shiwei said.

He Zhijun was stunned; it was actually true.

Yang Han was indeed acting under Gao Shiwei’s orders.

”Chief, how is this order any different from sending him to his death? He’s just causing trouble!” He Zhijun couldn’t help but say.

”So, do you have any other better ideas?”

Gao Shiwei said coldly, ”I am currently in the operations command room. The footage from the drone on the big screen is very clear. Thomas’s ship is in a very open area. Trying to sneak up on it with a speedboat is impossible; you would definitely be discovered.”

”Furthermore, the ship is about 40-50 kilometers from the shore.”

”The distance is also extremely far.”

Gao Shiwei said.

”But Commander, do you really think Yang Han can swim that far?” He Zhijun asked.

Gao Shiwei said solemnly, ”He Zhijun! I can tell you responsibly that so far, no one has been able to fathom the depths of Yang Han’s strength... I spoke with him on the phone earlier, and he said he could complete it!”

”That confidence is not blind arrogance, but the confidence of truly possessing immense strength.”

”Therefore, I believe he can do it.”

He Zhijun was silenced. Why did he trust Yang Han so much?

”Just wait and see...”

”Be sure to pay close attention to the situation on Thomas’s end.” Gao Shiwei gave this instruction and hung up.

He Zhijun felt very helpless.

”Commander, you believe in him so much, but what if that kid Yang Han...” He Zhijun thought to himself.

Lei Zhan and Gray Wolf both knew that He Zhijun had likely hit a wall with the phone call.

The two of them were also speechless. Was this kid Gao Shiwei’s illegitimate son? How else could he value him so much?

Now they had no other options; it seemed they could only wait for good news from Yang Han.

Or perhaps.

Bad news.

Inside a ship cabin.

Thomas was leisurely smoking a cigar on the deck, enjoying a sunbath.

He believed that the people of Daxia were not fools, and they shouldn’t be thinking about trying to take him out under these circumstances.

After all, the ship’s position was just too perfect; no one could possibly carry out a decapitation strike against him.

”Fifty million dollars, tsk tsk. Once I get my hands on it, I can live a life of leisure for the rest of my life.” Thomas seemed to be daydreaming about his future relaxed, pastoral life.

Inside the cabin, Fan Tianlei and the others were tied up. They hadn’t had any water for nearly twenty hours; they were parched and listless.

”Old Gao...”

”Do you still have any strength left?”

Fan Tianlei said in a low voice.

”A little.” Old Gao said in a low voice.

”How can we just sit here and wait for death? We must resist...” Fan Tianlei gritted his teeth. Sitting and waiting for death was not his style.

”The situation now is that we only have one chance to resist. We must get our hands on the guns; that’s the only way we’ll have a chance to fight back!”

Fan Tianlei’s gaze turned toward the two soldiers standing not far away.

”Then, let’s act...” Old Gao’s eyes flashed. He, too, was certainly not the type to sit and wait for death.

Fan Tianlei nodded. Then, with a swoosh, he suddenly lunged toward one of the standing guards, opening his mouth to bite the man’s shoulder.

”Ah!”

The man cried out in pain. Old Gao, with quick eyes and fast hands, immediately charged over as well and snatched the AK from the man’s hands.

Old Gao’s posture was very strange now; his hands were still bound, but they were in front of him, and he had an AK in his hands!

Old Gao immediately pulled the trigger.

Click, click, click...

However, no bullets were fired.

Old Gao and Fan Tianlei’s expressions changed drastically.

”Hahaha, hahahaha...”

”You two idiots, I knew you were up to no good a long time ago. Still want to resist, huh?”

Thomas’s sinister laughter came, followed by two masked soldiers behind him.

Fan Tianlei was stunned. Thomas flew over and kicked Fan Tianlei in the face, knocking out two of his teeth.

”Hmph, these two guards watching you don’t have any bullets in their guns.”

Thomas sneered.

”Idiots!”

Fan Tianlei’s face turned deathly pale; his intentions had actually been guessed.

”I told you not to resist, yet you still want to, right?”

”In that case, let me give you a little lesson.”

Thomas said coldly, taking out the silver Desert Eagle in his hand and firing at Old Wu’s two knees.

Bang! Bang!

The Desert Eagle has a huge recoil, and its power is even more terrifying. With two shots, Old Wu’s knees were instantly shattered, as if his lower legs and thighs had been severed. The power of this bullet was too immense.

”Ah!” Old Wu’s face turned extremely pale... he was in great pain!

And at this very moment, what Thomas and the others didn’t know was that Yang Han had finally swum to the underside of the ship.
