Special Forces Soldier: Me, the Number One Troublemaker of Wolf Fang

83: Chapter 83 ArroganceDeep in the night, the Southeast Military Region immediately convened a very serious meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Gao Shiwei, and six others were in attendance: five major generals and one senior colonel. That senior colonel was He Zhijun, the head of Wolf Fang!

”Damn it, nine people, a full nine people have been captured!”

”Fan Tianlei, Old Gao, and seven other Wolf Fang veterans have actually all been taken alive.”

Gao Shiwei was furious: ”How did this happen, huh?”

”This loss is simply huge for us.”

The others had grave expressions; they hadn’t expected such a terrible thing to happen.

Captured alive!

”It is very likely that the information was leaked, and then Thomas took the opportunity to land and capture Fan Tianlei and the others,” He Zhijun said.

”I know!”

”As for who leaked their whereabouts, of course, we must investigate—investigate thoroughly! But before that, we must first rescue Fan Tianlei and the others!” Gao Shiwei said in a deep voice.

This incident was quite sensational. After all, Fan Tianlei’s status was not low; he was a colonel, Old Gao was a major, and the other veterans were all lieutenants... It could be said that they were all elites of Wolf Fang, and also elites of the Great Xia Military.

”Thomas’s meaning is that if we resolve this privately and give five million US dollars... he will release the nine people,” one major general said.

Gao Shiwei’s face was gloomy.

Five million US dollars was already three hundred million Great Xia currency; Thomas’s appetite was truly large!

”Money is not the problem, but for a heinous criminal like Thomas who doesn’t know if he’ll have his next meal after the current one, if we give him money, will he really release the people?” Gao Shiwei said coldly.

Everyone was silent; they knew that it was probably unlikely.

Counting on these criminals to have integrity?

That was simply impossible!

”Which Special Forces teams are not currently on missions?” Gao Shiwei asked.

He Zhijun immediately said: ”The Thunderbolt Assault Team! And Lone Wolf Group A...”

Gao Shiwei said in a deep voice: ”Summon them immediately. Notify them urgently that something big has happened. This is not an exercise; this requires them to go all out to eliminate Thomas and rescue Fan Tianlei and the other eight people!”

”Yes, I will notify them right now.” He Zhijun went off to do so.

Gao Shiwei’s face was extremely gloomy. He said to a major general: ”Pretend to play along with Thomas, stabilize him for now, and at the same time... we must also prepare the five million US dollars.”

”Yes.” That major general nodded.

Then, the meeting adjourned, and everyone had their own tasks to attend to.

Gao Shiwei sat alone in the conference room, cold and quiet, deep in thought. This incident was truly too big. A simple intelligence leak had actually led to Fan Tianlei and eight others being captured alive. If this were to spread, it would be a huge, terrifying blow to the reputation of the Great Xia Military on the world stage!

Gao Shiwei couldn’t help but light a cigarette, take a deep puff, and exhale.

In his mind, one person suddenly appeared.

”This matter... is of great importance, and Thomas is a heinous criminal. Can Yang Han handle it?”

Gao Shiwei wondered.

Yang Han had the brilliant battle record of single-handedly killing Scorpion’s six accomplices, but this time...

After thinking for a moment, Gao Shiwei immediately picked up the phone.

For some reason, he trusted Yang Han very much.

He always felt that this young man could create miracles.

Ring, ring...

In the night, Yang Han heard his phone ring.

Because his status was special, he was allowed to carry his phone with him at all times. This special treatment made everyone very envious.

”Huh, this, this is the Chief’s call!”

Yang Han opened his eyes and saw the familiar number. He immediately climbed out of bed and went outside. At this time, the sky was already turning bright; it seemed the sun would rise soon.

”Yang Han.”

Gao Shiwei’s voice sounded very heavy. Yang Han’s expression became solemn; it seemed there was a major event.

”Now, there is a very important mission to entrust to you. Do you have the confidence to complete it?”

”Yes, I have the confidence to complete it! No matter what the mission is, I have the confidence to complete it!” Yang Han said without hesitation!

Gao Shiwei felt a jolt in his heart. From the absolute confidence in Yang Han’s tone, he felt a powerful aura of dominance.

”Good!”

”Next, I will tell you the situation. Fan Tianlei, Old Gao, and nine other Great Xia Special Forces soldiers have been captured alive by the Hexagram Organization...”

After briefly explaining, Yang Han’s expression became shocked after hearing it.

Nine people captured alive—this was a very serious matter.

It required being fully prepared.

”After hearing this, do you still have the confidence to complete it?” Gao Shiwei asked.

”Yes!” Yang Han said firmly. He would never back down.

”Good!”

Gao Shiwei praised: ”I have already dispatched the Thunderbolt Assault Team and Lone Wolf Group A, preparing to execute the mission. But I think that Thomas very likely also thinks we will send troops.”

”His defenses will be very strong!”

”However, if it is just one person, the chance of being discovered is very small.”

”If you execute the mission alone, you can minimize the chance of being discovered and maximize the success rate.”

”When the time comes, I will give you Thomas’s location.”

Yang Han nodded: ”Yes, Chief! I guarantee to complete the mission!”

Gao Shiwei said in a deep voice: ”If there is any danger, remember, do not push yourself, do not get yourself stuck in a quagmire, do you understand?”

”I will.” Yang Han said firmly: ”Chief, don’t you worry. That piece-of-trash Thomas, I guarantee I will blow his head off. As for those nine comrades, I will also bring them back in one piece.”

”Good, I believe in you.” Gao Shiwei smiled.

The call ended.

Gao Shiwei sighed with emotion. Yang Han was truly extremely confident, but what existed within that confidence was not blindness, but a confidence born of absolute strength.

”Yang Han... if you can complete this mission, then you will truly be a divine weapon, and it will be of great significance to our Great Xia.” Gao Shiwei murmured.

The sky had completely brightened, and the sun had risen.

Thomas was on the deck, leisurely looking at the opposite shore; the image was becoming increasingly blurry.

Now, the ship was already a full fifty kilometers away from the Great Xia coast. This was a terrifyingly large number.

Moreover, Thomas had chosen a location in a very open area.

There were no reefs blocking the way in the surroundings.

In other words, if the Great Xia side wanted to send a Special Forces team to secretly assassinate them, it was impossible; they would definitely be discovered.

”Great Xia... Hmph, you people love to play Special Forces operations, but this time, let’s see how you play?”

”Fifty kilometers from the shore, who can cross over? No one!”

Thomas sneered.

His plan was very simple: after getting the money, he would directly execute Fan Tianlei and the others, and he would even record a video and upload it to some forums, shocking the whole world.
