Special Forces Soldier: Me, the Number One Troublemaker of Wolf Fang

54: Chapter 54 What are you doing?Lei Keming donned his combat uniform and helmet once more, his expression turning resolute.

Now, he held the prestigious position of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Wolf Fang Special Operations Brigade with the rank of Colonel; he was one of the top figures in all of Wolf Fang.

It had been a long time since Lei Keming had been on the battlefield!

During exercises, he usually served as a staff officer behind the scenes.

However, this did not mean Lei Keming lacked strength. On the contrary, the reason he could become a staff officer for Wolf Fang was that he had once been a top-tier Special Forces soldier.

”Ten men, follow me!”

Lei Keming walked through the Wolf Fang ranks and selected several Special Forces soldiers he was familiar with. These were the most elite remaining, aside from those already eliminated like Old Gao, Chen Shanming, and Miao Lang...

Wolf Fang’s elites certainly weren’t limited to these; there were also the Red Cells, Lone Wolf Group B, and the Thunderbolt Assault Team. However, they were away on missions and had no time to participate in this exercise.

Out of necessity, Lei Keming gathered ten men and set out lightly equipped.

About seventy people remained at the Blue Army headquarters. Lei Keming left these seventy-plus people to a trusted subordinate, ordering him to rush to He Zhijun’s aid.

Supporting He Zhijun was naturally necessary, but—

They couldn’t just provide support; they also had to launch a stronger counter-offensive against the Iron Fist Regiment!

Therefore, Lei Keming planned to personally lead a group to the Iron Fist Regiment to launch a surprise attack on their Tank Company and completely destroy it.

The Tank Company was the Iron Fist Regiment’s ace strategic weapon! If it were destroyed, what capability would the Iron Fist Regiment have left to fight Wolf Fang?

As for Kang Lei, he was being escorted to He Zhijun’s location.

At this moment, night was gradually falling.

Lei Keming watched the sun dip below the horizon, a faint, cold sneer appearing at the corners of his mouth. ”Iron Fist Regiment...”

”I must say, you’ve given me quite a shock this time.”

”I didn’t expect you to have such resistance capabilities. I underestimated you!”

”However, the war isn’t over yet. Let’s see who has the last laugh!”

Lei Keming gave a cold snort and began to stealthily move through the night.

As time ticked by, Lei Keming arrived near Height 1445 with his ten Special Forces soldiers.

”Be careful. We’ll take this opportunity to head straight for the Iron Fist Regiment’s Tank Company and hit them with a surprise attack.”

Lei Keming said coldly.

Behind him, the other Special Forces soldiers all nodded.

Meanwhile, at the Iron Fist Regiment headquarters.

The commanders of all six companies were present; they were currently sharing command of the Iron Fist Regiment’s remaining forces.

”Our combat results today have been remarkable! We’ve been pushing the Blue Army’s front lines back!”

”Yes, all our soldiers performed excellently today, showing the true grit of our Iron Fist Regiment.”

”Sigh... This time, victory for the Iron Fist Regiment is within sight.”

Many company commanders looked at the map on the large table, their eyes gleaming with excitement.

According to this progress, Wolf Fang would soon be routed. At that time, the Iron Fist Regiment would seize the fruits of victory.

”All of this is thanks to everyone’s hard work.”

Gong Jian spoke with a smile.

Smiles were plastered on everyone else’s faces as well.

If they could defeat the famous Wolf Fang, it would be a true honor—something to brag about with old comrades after retirement.

Just then.

Old Hei walked over quickly and whispered to Gong Jian, ”That kid Yang Han still hasn’t returned to the unit.”

”Strange, what is that kid up to?”

Gong Jian frowned. ”Maybe he got delayed by something on the way?”

”I don’t know either,” Old Hei said, spreading his hands helplessly.

Gong Jian whispered, ”Keep an eye out. He might be back any minute. Inform me the moment he returns.”

”Yes, sir.”

Old Hei nodded.

Yang Han, who Gong Jian and Old Hei were worrying about, had indeed returned.

Because Yang Han didn’t know the way, he had taken several wrong turns. Eventually, he relied on his Infrared Ability to find the location of Height 1445.

”Damn it, this Height 1445 is really hard to find.”

Yang Han cursed.

Then, he scanned with his infrared again, sensing all living things within a 500-meter radius.

However.

Yang Han suddenly let out a sound of surprise. He discovered that within the 500-meter radius, besides the Iron Fist Regiment soldiers, there seemed to be a team moving very suspiciously.

”Who are they?”

”Eleven people in total, moving with light, slow steps, weaving quickly through cover...”

”They definitely aren’t Iron Fist Regiment people; otherwise, they wouldn’t be so sneaky!”

”Then who are they?”

Yang Han’s expression turned cold, and he immediately moved to tail them.

That suspiciously acting team was, naturally, the special operations squad led by Lei Keming!

Lei Keming groped his way in, grinning. Looking at the brightly lit area ahead, his expression became playful.

”Hmph... Iron Fist Regiment. Even Kang Lei was captured alive by my Wolf Fang! As long as we destroy the Tank Company, victory won’t escape my grasp.”

Lei Keming whispered to those behind him, ”Move forward a bit more, then crouch down. Find the best entrance to the Iron Fist Regiment camp and scout the movements of their patrols. If there’s an opening, strike quickly.”

”Yes, Staff Officer!”

The ten Wolf Fang Special Forces soldiers replied in unison.

At this moment, Lei Keming and the others were completely unaware that their actions were being observed by someone.

Yang Han was quite surprised to see the Wolf Fang members.

”Oh? They actually came here. It seems they want to cause some trouble?!”

”The direction they’re heading is exactly where the Tank Company is!”

”If they’re allowed to destroy the Tank Company, the Iron Fist Regiment is doomed. Too bad I’m here...”

Yang Han sneered.

”However... with me here, your plans are destined to fall through.”

Lei Keming and the others had already found a patch of grass to crouch in.

And—

After some scouting, they had found the best entrance to the Tank Company!

”Very good. We’ve figured out the pattern of their patrol teams. There’s a gap of about ten seconds. We can use that time to rush into the Tank Company’s interior!”

”Our only goal is destruction! We’re going to throw them into complete chaos!”

”I want to see how the Tank Company will fight Wolf Fang after we’ve messed them up like this.”

Lei Keming spoke in a low voice, and the Special Forces soldiers behind him all showed sharp glints in their eyes.

”Wolf Fang will prevail.”

”The Iron Fist Regiment’s attempt to defeat Wolf Fang is simply impossible.”

Lei Keming smiled slightly, his eyes fixed on the front. One of the Iron Fist Regiment patrol squads had just left, leaving a gap for Lei Keming and his men to slip through.

”Now is the time!”

Lei Keming gave a low shout.

Swish, swish, swish.

The ten Special Forces soldiers behind him immediately popped their heads up and prepared to dash forward, hunched over.

However, a faint voice came from nearby: ”Gentlemen, what are you trying to do?”

Immediately following that was a burst of gunfire!

Bang, bang, bang...

Hearing someone speak, Lei Keming felt his hair stand on end from the shock. He whipped his head around, only to see a gun barrel pointed right at him.

The other Special Forces soldiers turned their heads and likewise found gun barrels aimed at them.
