Livestream Conflict-solver: The Whole Internet Begs Me for Justice!

18: Sao Baoze is secretly live-streaming!”Perfect!” Zhang Ze clapped his thigh triumphantly.

This name, it sounded full of stories, like a jaded romantic who had seen much of the world. No one would ever associate him with Brother Pingshi, that simpleton.

After getting everything set up, Zhang Ze looked at his brand new alternate account, with zero followers, zero posts, and zero likes.

He put on his clothes and started the live stream.

No title, no preview.

A Lone Boat on the River and Sea’s live stream quietly began.

Online viewers: 0.

Zhang Ze didn’t care; he directly clicked the ”Random PK” function.

The system started matching, and a few seconds later, the screen split in two.

On the opposite side appeared a female Streamer with smoky eye makeup, wearing cat ear headphones, exuding a sexy, mature vibe. Her ID was ”Your Cat Sister.”

”Oh, a newcomer?” Cat Sister saw the pitiful ”0 votes” under Zhang Ze’s PK bar, and a playful smile curled at her lips. ”Little brother, is this your first time playing PK? Sister will teach you, there are punishments if you lose, you know.”

Zhang Ze cleared his throat and said in a voice he believed to be very magnetic and deep, ”Winning and losing are common in war. I... am merely here to experience the hustle and bustle of the mortal world.”

As soon as he spoke, he almost got goosebumps himself.

Cat Sister was clearly stunned for a moment, then burst into giggles, shaking all over. ”Little brother, you’re quite good at pretending, aren’t you? Alright, then sister will play with you today.”

The PK began, and the outcome was without suspense.

Gifts flew rapidly on Cat Sister’s side, while on Zhang Ze’s side, let alone gifts, there wasn’t even a live viewer’s comment.

”Oh dear, what should I do? Little brother, you’re going to lose,” Cat Sister said, feigning distress. ”What should the punishment be? How about... showing your abs?”

Zhang Ze’s expression didn’t change, but his mind was frantically complaining: Damn it, a bad start! Is Brother Pingshi’s reputation going to be lost on this alternate account today?

...Meanwhile.

In a thousand-person chat group of the ”Brother Pingshi Fan Club.”

A fan with the username ”Brother Ze’s Slipper” wailed, ”Brothers, Brother Ze has ended his stream, I’m so bored. Anyone have any fun stuff to share?”

”Boring. Let’s wait until Saturday to watch Brother Ze challenge others.”

”I’m watching PKs, checking out female Streamers, hehe.”

”Upstairs, if there’s anything good, share the link!”

The fan named ”Brother Ze’s Slipper” was idly swiping through the PK square.

Suddenly, he swiped to a live stream room with the ID ”A Lone Boat on the River and Sea.”

The Streamer was a handsome guy with his shirt off, but that wasn’t the main point.

The main point was, this Streamer’s voice... why did it sound so familiar?

”Holy crap?!”

Brother Ze’s Slipper turned the volume to max and listened carefully again.

That’s right! This was exactly it! Wasn’t this Brother Ze’s lazy yet slightly arrogant voice?

He zoomed in on the screen and carefully scrutinized the Streamer’s face.

Although the lighting was dim, that familiar outline, those unruly eyes... ”Damn it! Caught a wild Brother Ze!”

Brother Ze’s Slipper was so excited his hands started shaking. He quickly took a screenshot and sent it to the fan group, with a line of text:

”Brothers!!! Major discovery!!! I think I found Brother Ze’s alternate account! He’s currently in a PK with a female Streamer and is about to lose! Location: [A Lone Boat on the River and Sea] live stream room! Go support him quickly!”

This message, like a nuclear bomb, instantly detonated in the quiet fan group!

”What the hell? Brother Ze has an alternate account?”

”And he’s PK-ing with a female Streamer? This dog, he told us goodnight and then went off to have fun by himself?”

”A Lone Boat on the River and Sea? This Showy name, I’m disgusted! Brothers, let’s charge him! Let him know the consequences of betraying his fans!”

”The army marches! No blade of grass shall grow! Protect our Showy Brother Ze!”

In an instant, countless fans, like a surging tide, poured into the previously unnoticed live stream room of A Lone Boat on the River and Sea through the link.

Zhang Ze, who was bracing himself for the upcoming ”punishment,” suddenly found his screen exploding.

[”Brother Ze’s Slipper” sent ”Airplane” x1]

[”Brother Ze’s Number One Minion” sent ”Rocket” x1]

[”Must Take Down Sera Tonight” sent ”Carnival” x1]

The empty PK bar instantly crushed Cat Sister on the opposite side with a devastating momentum!

The comments went even crazier.

”You dog! We caught you!”

”A Lone Boat on the River and Sea? Why don’t you call yourself a Romantic Playboy? Brother Ze, you’ve changed!”

”You just cried poor to us, saying you had to eat instant noodles, and then you turn around and flirt with girls? Where’s your conscience?”

”Brothers, stop scolding, let’s unite first! Take down that demoness opposite us, don’t let Brother Ze lose face outside!”

Cat Sister on the opposite side was completely dumbfounded.

One second ago, she was confident of victory, but now, looking at her pitiful PK bar and the sky-high numbers on the opposite side, as well as the screen full of comments saying ”Protect our Showy Brother Ze,” she was utterly stunned.

This... did he just poke a hornet’s nest of some super-rich person?

Zhang Ze looked at the dense comments on the screen, like a locust plague, and he was completely petrified.

It’s over.

My home base has been raided.

His carefully crafted persona of ”A Lone Boat on the River and Sea,” the aloof and artistic wanderer, was completely exposed less than ten minutes after starting the stream, leaving nothing but his underwear.

Are these fans dogs? How did they sniff him out?

Zhang Ze’s face went from red to white. He even wanted to pretend his internet disconnected and end the stream on the spot, then run away with his computer host overnight.

His remark, ”I... am merely here to experience the hustle and bustle of the mortal world,” now, in retrospect, felt like a public execution, so embarrassing that his toes could dig out a three-bedroom apartment on the floor of his rental room.

Cat Sister on the opposite side was also completely bewildered.

She rubbed her eyes, looking at Zhang Ze’s PK votes, which had already exceeded seven digits, and then at her own blue progress bar, which was so crushed it was almost invisible. Her mind was a blank.

What’s going on? Wasn’t this newcomer at 0 votes? Did he call in... an entire division?

When she looked at the comments again, her heart pounded even faster.

”Protect our Showy Brother Ze!”

”Sorry, Cat Sister, you ran into trouble today. I’ll come back next time to send you gifts as an apology!”

”Hahahahaha, Brother Ze, you finally got what’s coming to you! Quick! Punishment! It must be punishment! Make him bark like a dog!”

Cat Sister shivered. Looking at the uniform ”Brother Ze” in the comments, and then at the profound man in front of her, a name that resonated like thunder on the Note platform instantly appeared in her mind.

Brother... Brother Pingshi?!

That ruthless person who would smash people’s heads with a teapot if he disagreed with them?

Cat Sister’s hand, holding the mouse, started to tremble.

She had just teased him, telling him to show his abs if he lost? She was practically disturbing a sleeping tiger, showing off her skills in front of the King of Hell!

The PK countdown ended.

Without suspense, A Lone Boat on the River and Sea won with an overwhelming advantage.
