Livestream Conflict-solver: The Whole Internet Begs Me for Justice!

4: The live stream’s popularity skyrocketed!Returning to his rented room, which was only a dozen square meters, Zhang Ze threw himself heavily onto the bed.

Thinking back to the scene at the night market just now, where he had dealt with three thugs in a few moves under the gaze of the crowd, he still felt his blood boiling.

This is what a man should do!

He took out his phone and opened the Music Note APP again.

The number of followers had officially broken through the 10,000 mark, up from the 5,000 he had when he left the night market!

Ten thousand and one hundred, and it was still rising!

On the Note platform, 10,000 followers is a small threshold; once crossed, one can be considered a true entry-level Streamer.

And he had only used one livestream, a few hours.

”Brother Pingshi... a bit rustic, but it seems quite fitting.” Zhang Ze looked at the title given by the official platform and couldn’t help but smile.

He decided to strike while the iron was hot.

He placed his phone on the simple table, fixed his hair, took a deep breath, and pressed the start streaming button.

Almost the moment his stream went live, the number of online viewers started jumping crazily, like it was riding a rocket!

One hundred! Five hundred! One thousand! Three thousand!

In the end, the number settled steadily at over 3,500, and there was still a continuous stream of users pouring in.

Zhang Ze was a bit stunned looking at this number.

In the few months he had been a Streamer, the most viewers he ever had in his stream was one day last week, about a hundred people. Maybe the admin thought he was a bit handsome and secretly gave him some traffic, but he estimated that half of them were likely bots inserted by the platform.

Nearly 4,000 real people watching his stream at the same time? What kind of concept was this?

Before he could even speak, the comments were already going completely crazy.

”He’s here, he’s here! Brother Pingshi is online!”

”Damn, finally waited for you! I came over from that night market video, God Ze is awesome!”

”Selling sunflower seeds, peanuts, and mineral water in the front row, watching God Ze!”

”Brother Ze, Brother Ze! Can I ’Pingshi’ (take care of) my boss? He makes me work overtime every day and doesn’t pay me!”

”Brothers upstairs, that’s illegal behavior. I suggest you ask Brother Ze to help you call 110.”

”God Ze, are you still taking on followers? The kind that can serve tea and water, and shout 666!”

Looking at these enthusiastic yet slightly silly comments, Zhang Ze felt even more nervous than when he was fighting earlier.

He cleared his throat and revealed what he thought was a handsome smile: ”Ahem, good evening everyone, thank you all for coming to watch my stream.”

”I am Zhang Ze, you can also call me... Brother Pingshi.”

As soon as he said this, the comments were flooded with ”Brother Pingshi is awesome” again, mixed with the special effects of various gifts.

”Thanks to ’Loves Eating Xiao Long Bao’ for the sports car!”

”Thanks to ’Uncle Wang Next Door’ for the rocket!”

Li Ming was actually watching too, and even sent him the most expensive gift.

Zhang Ze quickly said: ”Brother Loves Eating Xiao Long Bao, no need to send gifts, keep the money to run your business well. Everyone else, don’t spend too much, just follow and come watch me often, and I’ll be very happy.”

These words won him another wave of goodwill.

”The Streamer’s values are so upright! Subscribed, subscribed!”

”This is a positive energy Streamer! Much better than those who PK for gifts every day!”

”Brother Ze, talk business! Are you still taking orders for your Pingshi service?” One comment was particularly eye-catching.

Zhang Ze saw it; it was the same one who had privately messaged him before.

”Brother Ze, I was scammed out of 500 yuan online. Can you help me get the money back? (Pitiful)”

Zhang Ze smiled and read the comment out loud: ”This brother named ’Want to Drink the First Cup of Milk Tea in Autumn’ is asking if I can help get back money from an online scam.”

”Brothers, what do you say? I can’t Pingshi this, I can’t find the person online.”

The comments instantly flew by with ”Hahaha” and ”Indeed”.

”I knew it, God Ze is of the physical class, magic attacks can’t hit people!”

”Online scams are indeed helpless, can only treat it as paying tuition fees.”

”Milk Tea sister, don’t cry, sister will order one for you!”

The fan with the ID ”Want to Drink the First Cup of Milk Tea in Autumn” sent a crying emoji: ”Wuwuwu, that was my living expenses for a month, the scammer is too hateful!”

Zhang Ze looked at this comment, pondered for a moment, and suddenly slapped his thigh.

”Brother, don’t worry! I can’t help you physically, but we can try metaphysics!”

The audience in the stream was stunned.

”Metaphysics? What kind of metaphysics? Is Brother Ze going to start fortune-telling?”

”Could it be the legendary... remote curse killing?”

”Damn, the Streamer’s methods are getting wilder!”

Zhang Ze said with a straight face: ”How about this, you post the scammer’s account ID, and then our 4,000+ Brothers in the stream will all wish him... wish his phone falls into the toilet, he steps on dog poop when he goes out, and his teeth get stuck even when drinking cold water!”

As soon as these words were spoken, the stream was quiet for a second, and then it burst into laughter.

”Hahahaha! What a god-tier metaphysical attack!”

”Amazing! I support this! Count me in!”

”Scammer ID: [Professional Screen Protector Master], Brothers, charge! Wish his instant noodles have no seasoning packet!”

”Wish him no toilet paper when he goes to the bathroom!”

”Wish him 460 (lag) forever when playing games!”

Looking at the screen full of ”blessings,” Zhang Ze nodded with satisfaction and revealed an unfathomable smile to the camera: ”See that, brother? The power of the masses is infinite. Although the money might not come back, at least it lets you vent your anger. This matter can be considered Pingshi (settled)!”

”Milk Tea sister” sent another comment, this time a string of ”Hahaha” and ”Thank you Brother Ze, I feel much better!”

The atmosphere in the stream became exceptionally joyful because of this little episode.

Just then, a few comments with a sudden change in tone floated by.

”Brother Ze, you are so handsome and so good at fighting, do you need a girlfriend?”

”Sisters in front, move aside, Brother Ze is mine! Brother Ze, do you think I’m okay? I won’t scam your money, I’ll only scam your heart!”

”Streamer, Streamer, I seem to be sick, I have that illness where I feel anxious and short of breath when I can’t see you, can you help me Pingshi it?”

”Help, what’s wrong with this stream? Isn’t this a justice stream? How did it become a dating corner?”

”Brothers, type ’protection’ on the public screen! Protect our Brother Pingshi!”

Zhang Ze looked at these bold words; even though his skin was thick, he couldn’t handle it.

He coughed twice and said, pretending to be calm: ”This female student, please behave yourself. I am a serious Pingshi Streamer, I do not provide emotional comfort services... not for now.”

That ”for now” was very witty.

The female fans were even more excited.

”Did you hear that, sisters! For now! It means it’s possible in the future!”

”Brother Ze, stop struggling, come into my bowl!”

Steel straight man Zhang Ze felt he was about to be drowned by the saliva of this group of enthusiastic female fans, so he quickly changed the subject.

”Ahem, alright, alright, back to the topic. Brothers, if you need any help in the future, you can come to my stream and say it.”

”But! We have to make a three-point agreement!” Zhang Ze held up three fingers, ”First, I won’t do anything illegal! If you want me to help you hack someone’s computer, or beat up your boss, turn left at the door, the police station is more useful than me.”

”Second, things beyond my capabilities, like helping you negotiate with aliens, or salvaging a phone sunk in the Pacific Ocean, I really can’t do.”

”Third,” he paused, revealing a handsome smile, ”Fate. I help whoever I find pleasing to the eye. That’s just how willful I am.”

These half-joking, half-serious words not only didn’t make the audience resent him, but instead made them feel he was authentic and unpretentious.

”Hahaha, Brother Ze is so authentic!”

”I announce that starting from today, Brother Ze is my own brother from another mother and father!”

”Brother Ze, don’t worry, we are all law-abiding good citizens! We just want to see you strike with heavy fists and uphold justice!”
