Chapter 329: Chapter 329: Ghost-Hunting Squad

March 7th looked up in confusion: ”What did you just say?”

”I said I want to destroy the Xianzhou Luofu...”

”Then why are you telling us?” March 7th asked, puzzled. ”Normally, when a villain makes a grand declaration of destruction, shouldn’t they go find the protagonist to say it? Go tell the Xianzhou generals or other high officials. Why come to us tourists?”

Hearing this, the Lustful Heliobus’s momentum weakened. It stalled for a long time before saying: ”Uh... I just wanted to spread some fear or something.”

”I’m busy right now. If there’s nothing else, get lost.”

”Oh...”

A few seconds later, the Lustful Heliobus looked at the room behind it, feeling that something was off.

”Never mind. The plan is more important.”

The Lustful Heliobus shook its head (it actually had no concept of this organ) and flew off in another direction.

Meanwhile, somewhere on the Skysplitter.

”No overtime no overtime no overtime!!”

Huohuo gripped her phone tightly. Her knuckles were pale from exerting too much force as she shouted into it: ”Is there no one left on the Luofu? Why does everything have to be handed to me?!”

”My patience has limits too!”

”What? Raise my salary and give me more vacation? Stop playing mind games with me. One task after another—your promised vacation never has time to be fulfilled. What’s the difference from having no vacation at all?”

”Ten-Lords Commission, Ten-Lords Commission, it’s always the Ten-Lords Commission. Is there no one left in your Ten-Lords Commission either?”

”······”

Tail’s little brother stood at attention awkwardly nearby (in reality he could neither stand at attention nor stand properly), watching Huohuo lose her temper with eager eyes. After a long while, he saw Huohuo finally put down her phone and immediately stepped forward with concern: ”Sister Huohuo, how did it go?”

Huohuo turned around, revealing a dangerously meaningful smile: ”What else could happen besides forcing the task onto me? Working overtime during vacation again. I really want to curse.”

Tail’s little brother quickly gave his usual flattery: ”Curse well, curse well. Sister Huohuo is so beautiful, young, cute, and capable—even cursing would be a reward for others.”

Huohuo’s small fist cracked loudly: ”I seriously suspect I was set up back then. Otherwise, with how big the Xianzhou is, how could I just happen to encounter an escaped Heliobus?”

Tail’s little brother echoed: ”What a bunch of damn old bastards, daring to set up Sister Huohuo!”

Huohuo helplessly shook her head. ”I really became free labor... Whatever, I can’t escape it in the end. I accept it.”

”News from above says that the Artisanship Commission’s Creation Furnace was maliciously damaged by intruders between the night before last and yesterday, causing the Heliobi sealed inside to escape.”

”According to the information, the Heliobus sealed in the Creation Furnace is named [Blaze of the Wilds]. It was shattered and captured by the previous previous Luofu General. Its fragments were sealed inside the Creation Furnace—seven pieces in total: Wrath, Envy, Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth, and Gluttony. We need to capture them all back.”

Tail’s little brother was silent for two seconds: ”Isn’t that the Seven Deadly Sins?”

Huohuo shrugged: ”Who knows? Maybe they named them for convenience? But it must have a strong connection to the characteristics of the fragments. Otherwise, why use the Seven Deadly Sins instead of the Seven Calabash Brothers?”

”Cough cough, seriously now. Above said that considering I’m currently on vacation and have been quite busy lately, they feel bad about always giving me tasks, so they’re allowing me to form a team this time. I have full authority.”

”If they feel bad they shouldn’t give me the task at all...” Tail pouted. ”Besides, if the Luofu still had capable people, would they dump every little thing onto you, Sister Huohuo?”

”Not necessarily.”

Huohuo stroked her chin and took out her phone to dial a number.

Beep—

(Connected).

”Little Fu, don’t move yet... Hello? The Helm Master suddenly calling this General—what’s the matter?” Qingque’s calm voice came from the other end.

”Oh, nothing major. Just got another task from above. I want to borrow a few people from you to help. Should be no problem, right?”

”Oh oh oh, it’s about capturing the escaped Heliobi, right? Got it. I’ve already prepared the people. Later just accept their friend requests. If there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up...”

”Wait.”

Huohuo stopped her and said indifferently: ”I’ve long heard of those three under the General. They are indeed rare talents. But besides them, I need to borrow one more person this time?”

Qingque answered readily: ”Helm Master, just say the word. Not just one—even a thousand, everyone under me is at your command.”

”Good. I want to borrow Miss Fu Xuan.”

”You didn’t... what did you say?”

Huohuo repeated clearly: ”I said, I want to borrow Miss Fu Xuan!”

!

Hearing this, Qingque on the other end of the phone finally couldn’t sit still. She gave a light cough, and her tone lost its previous calm: ”What does the Helm Master need Fu Xuan for?”

”To be honest, Fu Xuan’s work ability is only average. The only thing that can be considered a strength is her diligence. Those who can join the Helm Master’s team must be elites among elites. How could I have the face to let her embarrass herself?”

Huohuo: Heh.

She didn’t want to listen to Qingque’s nonsense.

In truth, Huohuo’s dissatisfaction with Qingque had been building up for a long time. It wasn’t about work ability—it was the attitude! The attitude! It was extremely bad!

She still remembered when Jing Yuan was in office. No matter how much work there was, it could all be pushed onto him in the end. Ever since Qingque took over, everything seemed reversed.

Huohuo just couldn’t stand seeing herself working to death while Qingque sat there drinking tea!

So she decided to take Fu Xuan, who Qingque kept by her side every day. Not only could she disgust Qingque, but she could also see what was so special about this person that made Qingque play all day.

On the other end of the phone, Qingque was silent for a long time before finally letting out a long sigh: ”Fine. Since the Helm Master insists, this General can only reluctantly part with what she treasures.”

”Fu Xuan will contact you later.”

”That’s more like it.”

After hanging up, Huohuo gave a cold laugh. Good. Next, Qingque’s people would be under her command for a while. Perfect.

She would personally train these people well. When they returned to Qingque later, that guy would know—her people had all become hers in shape!

Cough cough, of course, this referred to work attitude.

...

However, what Huohuo didn’t know was that during the time she was on the phone, the Lustful Heliobus that had just been chased out of the room by March 7th happened to be flying in the same direction as her.
