What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 301: Chapter 301: Sunday’s Life-and-Death Game

Sunday had no idea what was about to happen a few minutes later.

Stelle was pushed away by Sunday in one shove, but she did not give up. Instead, she patiently explained to him: ”Sunday, here’s the situation right now. You’ve lost part of your memory. Actually, we’re already companions...”

”Ah, yeah yeah yeah~” Sunday waved his hand impatiently. ”I’ve heard this script at least a hundred times before.”

”I know. As the CEO of the Penacony Group and one of the richest super tycoons in the entire galaxy, there are bound to be countless opportunistic people who will try every possible method to get close to me.”

Sunday said disdainfully: ”Because they know that even if they could take away a single speck of dust from me, it would guarantee them a lifetime of luxury for ten generations.”

”In the past, many people claimed to be my friends, family, benefactors... Hmph, nothing but clumsy little tricks.”

”Miss Trailblazer, if you’re trying to play the ’I care about you’ card in front of me...” Sunday raised a finger and shook it. ”It’s useless.”

”I have no interest in you.”

”Moreover, your script is downright stupid. As the CEO of the Group, why would I stoop so low as to come to a place like this with you people? Do you think you’re Gallagher or something? Hm?”

Hearing this, Stelle was stunned for a moment. She knew Sunday was currently in an amnesiac state, so she didn’t take it to heart. But just as she was about to try explaining again, March 7th suddenly pressed down on her shoulder and spoke with a cold smile:

”Sunday, Stelle treated you sincerely and even saved your soul. Is this how you repay her?”

Sunday answered arrogantly: ”So what?”

”Aren’t you afraid she’ll never pay attention to you again?”

Sunday sneered: ”The same goes for me.”

He spread his arms wide and let out a burst of wild laughter: ”Hahahahaha—”

”Being friends with me (a capitalist) is nothing but a childish delusion. Abandon that naivety, hahahaha—”

The corner of March 7th’s mouth curved up slightly. She then lightly snapped her fingers. In the next second, Sunday’s eyes suddenly became hollow, and a dark red jellyfish floated out from his body...

”······” (Non-stationary state)

Sunday maintained the pose of spreading his arms. Because his head was tilted upward, no one knew what expression was on his face at that moment.

March 7th’s gaze was fixed firmly on Sunday. The smile she couldn’t suppress at the corners of her mouth made her look a bit yandere.

os:

No... I can’t laugh yet. I have to hold it in. I can’t let Sunday and Stelle notice that I did it on purpose.

As long as Sunday realizes what he just said, he will completely lose any right to covet Stelle.

It’s decided. I’ll declare victory the moment this guy starts apologizing. Pffft hahahaha!

Five seconds passed...

Ten seconds passed...

Twenty seconds passed...

However, what felt strange was that Sunday continued to hold the pose of spreading his arms, as if someone had pressed the pause button. He did not recover like the previous ”Forgotten” individuals.

Stelle rubbed her chin, feeling somewhat puzzled: ”What’s going on? Does your power have some kind of side effect, March?”

March 7th shook her head: ”No, I’m confident about that part. He’s completely motionless right now... I don’t know what’s happening either.”

”That really is strange...”

On the side, Dan Heng, who had remained silent the whole time, was staring intently at Sunday. Unlike the two girls beside him, his observation was more meticulous, so he noticed a slight clue.

Sunday was not in a stationary state. His hand... seemed to be trembling?

Switching to Sunday’s perspective:

Actually, after the red jellyfish was expelled from his body, he had already returned to normal.

The reason he remained motionless in that state was because he realized what he had just said and was thinking of a way to salvage his dignity.

What kind of illness had he come down with just now? Why did he suddenly forget everything and then say those kinds of things to Miss Stelle?

He accelerated his own thinking speed solely to find a way to salvage the situation.

At this moment, Sunday wished he could travel through time back to the past and give his former self a hard slap: How could you be so selfish?! Ugh!

Finally, after thinking for a sufficiently long time in the river of time, he came up with a solution: act.

Only by portraying himself as a victim could he smooth this matter over.

·····

”Ah... Aaaaaah—”

Under everyone’s gaze, Sunday suddenly began trembling all over. With a pained expression, he clutched his head and groaned: ”Everyone run! I’ve been possessed by an evil spirit! I can’t control my body anymore!”

Everyone: ...

Sunday clutched his own throat and forced out a few words from his vocal cords: ”No... Don’t even think about it! You won’t harm my companions!”

Sunday stepped on his own left foot with his right foot, tripping himself to the ground. Then he suddenly laughed evilly: ”Oh hohoho! Give up struggling! I won’t let a single one of your companions go, especially that ’gentle, cute, innocent, kind, clear, pure, wise, beautiful Stelle who is a hundred billion times better than Robin’!”

Everyone: ...

Dan Heng couldn’t bear to watch anymore and silently retreated to the side.

March 7th sneered coldly in her heart: Sunday, oh Sunday. You still think you can muddle through with such clumsy acting? Useless useless useless useless useless!

”Ah? Sunday, what’s wrong with you?”

Just as March 7th was sneering inwardly, Stelle rushed forward with a face full of worry. She placed both hands on Sunday’s shoulders and looked him straight in the eyes: ”What evil spirit? Could it be a Heliobus possession? Hold on, Sunday!”

March 7th: ”Ha?!”

You actually believe this! Is Stelle really that gullible or just pretending... Never mind, I should be used to it by now.

Sunday: ”Ah... Don’t worry, Miss Stelle! Even if I perish together with this evil spirit, I won’t let it touch even a single finger of yours!”

Stelle: ”No! Don’t say that! You’re my companion. I won’t just watch you die!”

Sunday’s voice grew weak: ”Then, could you hold my hand and pass on the power of companionship to me—”

”No need to go to that much trouble.”

Seeing that Sunday’s schemes were practically bouncing onto her face, March 7th forcefully inserted herself between the two of them. With a dangerous smile, she grabbed Sunday’s hand. ”Mr. Sunday, it just so happens that I’m a professional at exorcising evil spirits. I can help you.”

”This...” Sunday forced a smile: ”Such an important matter—how come I’ve never heard of it before?”

”Simple. Because I never told anyone before.”

Sunday’s inner thoughts: You’re obviously just making this up, right? Who would believe you? Damn it, March 7th, get away from me! What I need is Miss Stelle!

—”Ah? March, you can do that too? You’re really hiding your skills!”

Stelle on the side looked surprised. ”That’s great! Then Sunday can be saved!”

Sunday: ...
