Chapter 248: Chapter 248: Sunday Battles the Stellaron Hunters

”Miss Stelle!”

Sunday looked up at the figure of ”Stelle” gradually receding, his handsome face already entering cold battle mode.

Daring to kidnap Miss Stelle right in front of him? What big guts! Mere flying thief, did you think flying away would help?

Flap— Flap—

With a thought from Sunday, the white wings behind his head representing the Halovians began flapping forcefully, the speed increasing until they became an afterimage—

Sunday’s feet gradually left the ground, eventually soaring into the sky like a free bird.

...

Whoosh—

The whistling of air filled his ears. Feeling the weight in his hands, smelling the fragrance of the person beside him, Firefly’s mood became a bit excited. Thinking about what she was about to do, she couldn’t help humming lightly.

Logically speaking, she was the one who met Stelle first from the beginning. Back then, Stelle had personally said things like ”If favorability exists in the world, your favorability in my heart is definitely the highest.”

But that damn Elio had Kafka use Spirit Whisper to erase Stelle’s memories, leading to today’s situation. Just wait, Elio—when I get back, I’ll show you what ” ROAD ROLLER DA! ” means.

The spider thread on her body was super-tough; even with The Reverie’s height of several thousand meters, it could support her jumping from the rooftop to the bottom and bouncing back up with elasticity.

—”Give me back my Miss Stelle!”

However, just as Firefly thought the plan was going smoothly, an angry shout came from below. She looked down and saw Sunday flapping his wings furiously, charging straight toward the person in her hands.

He could actually fly?

A trace of surprise flashed in Firefly’s heart. She had always thought Sunday’s wings were just decorative, not expecting them to have actual function.

”What’s yours? This is mine!”

Firefly shouted loudly. Armor thrusters appeared behind her, flames erupting, instantly boosting her ascent speed another level. In just one breath, she left Sunday far below.

”You think only you have gear?”

Seeing this, Sunday sneered, pulling out a notebook and softly chanting: ”Kuwang, please depart!”

Whoosh whoosh whoosh—

Musical note sprites representing Harmony and Order flew from the notebook, circling Sunday and directly doubling his speed!

”What?” Firefly said in surprise: ”You actually have this kind of special ability? You didn’t use it when fighting the Dreammaster before.”

Sunday: ”Heh, it’s just a minor skill to advance actions. There’s plenty you don’t know!”

”To be honest, I’m also somewhat involved with Gallagher’s ’White Night’!”

With that, Sunday took a deep breath and said: ”Tonight, the stars echo because of me! (Lyrics omitted)”

As he sang this song, his actions sped up again, instantly closing the distance with Firefly—and even surpassing her!

Sunday grabbed ”Stelle’s” hand: ”Give her to me!”

Firefly sneered. Armor instantly covered her hand. She opened her palm, aiming the palm cannon at Sunday: ”Go to Dreamflux Reef!”

Buzz—

The palm cannon fired, but just as it was about to hit Sunday, he also sneered. In that critical moment, he did a ”sidestep + hair flip,” perfectly dodging the attack.

Sunday: ”Sorry, your attack is too slow.”

Whoosh—

At that moment, the two also reached the hotel rooftop. After a gorgeous landing, both stepped onto the floor simultaneously.

”You guys... wait a second...”

At this point, the kidnapped Robin struggled, about to explain. Due to the rapid ascent earlier, she couldn’t even open her mouth.

Rip—

Firefly directly sealed her mouth with tape, then said with a beaming smile: ”Stelle, I know you’re shy, but it’s okay. This time, you don’t need to speak at all. Be good, okay?”

Robin widened her eyes in some terror, shaking her head desperately: ”Mmm mmm mmm—”

Meanwhile, Blade and Kafka were stunned upon seeing Robin, but when they also smelled the strange fragrance on her, their brains dazed for a moment, instantly accepting reality.

Sunday’s gaze swept over the several people present, nodding slightly: ”Good, I was wondering why that armor looked familiar. So you’re all Stellaron Hunters, a bunch of notorious wanted criminals daring to come to my territory to snatch Miss Stelle from me?”

”Fine then. Let me defeat you one by one and bring you back to my dawn!”

Facing the three Stellaron Hunters, Sunday showed no fear. This composure in the face of Mount Tai collapsing was indeed worthy of a former Penacony Oak Family head.

”Sigh...”

Blade shook his head, stepping in front of Firefly and saying: ”Leave this mess here to me and Kafka. Be careful—don’t cause any deaths, or cleaning up will be troublesome. If the Astral Express crew all gets triggered, we’d have to start the war early.”

”Of course that’s probably impossible. Based on your description, this guy’s former [Order] power has collapsed, so he shouldn’t be able to defeat me and Kafka. We’ll come find you after handling this side.”

”There’s one more thing. I know you and this girl were close before, but she’s Kafka’s childhood sweetheart after all. Don’t be too blatant about it. I’m speaking from experience—this feeling sucks. You...”

Kafka poked Blade: ”Ah Blade, Firefly left after your first sentence.”

Blade ”tsk”ed: ”Young people these days have no patience. Don’t listen to elders and suffer later...”

”Where do you think you’re going?” Sunday huffed coldly, about to chase.

Bang bang bang—

A string of bullets hit the ground at Sunday’s feet. Blade pulled a submachine gun from his pocket, blocking Sunday’s path expressionlessly: ”Hey, kid, you can’t go.”

Sunday spread his arms: ”You think without the Dreammaster, I’m just a powerless ordinary person? Big mistake!”

”Though I can’t accelerate the world’s time, accelerating myself is doable! Watch this!”

”With this body, I’ll send you far away! (Meaning using physical means to send enemies far)”

Buzz—

As Sunday’s words fell, his figure blurred at visible speed—the sign of time acceleration.

”Hmph, Elio already told us about your tricks.”

Seeing this, Blade just chuckled lowly. ”Kafka, your turn.”

”I’m here!”

Kafka quickly responded, her body spinning like a top as she shouted delicately: ”Taste this girl’s power, drink up—”

”Take this! 200-meter diameter spider silk splash!”

Whoosh whoosh whoosh—

With Kafka at the center, nearly endless spider threads sprayed toward Sunday from all directions, sealing all his escape routes.

”Heh...”

Though also within the web’s range, Blade remained calm. He charged toward Sunday, shouting: ”Illuminate the myriad rivers!”
