Chapter 241: Chapter 241: Shush Captures Sunday, Welt in the Rear

Shush was originally wandering around nearby. After all, as a robot, it had nothing to do with the word ”sleep” even at night, so it just happened to stumble upon this scene.

It took in the conversation between Sunday and Mila completely, and the analysis module in its program began to operate:

Identity: Sunday, former Penacony Group CEO, cosmic-level capitalist, once attempted to use the power of [Order] to create a world without involution, now self-proclaimed ”delivery guy,” suspicious identity.

Behavior: Delivering food to Stelle passenger, suspicious behavior.

Time: It’s now 23:36, late at night, suspicious time.

Location: The Reverie Hotel, suspicious location.

Gender: Male, suspicious gender.

·····

In short, Shush’s analysis module concluded: Sunday is a severely suspicious individual, requiring further observation, and must remain on alert until confirmed harmless.

Thus, Shush secretly tailed Sunday to the door of Stelle and the others’ room. When it saw Sunday sneakily slipping into the room, its vigilance toward Sunday reached its peak!

Late at night, impersonating a delivery guy, sneaking into someone else’s room—any normal person could see the problem at a glance!

So, after Sunday sneaked into the room, Shush casually picked up a fire extinguisher from the hallway and quietly followed.

It was also very coincidental that Shush witnessed the scene of Sunday knocking Firefly out.

Now its suspicions were even more impossible to dismiss.

Meanwhile, the already targeted Sunday was still completely unaware. He lightly moved Firefly aside, reached out to grasp the bedroom doorknob, preparing to twist it open—

Duang!

No sooner said than done, Shush executed a clean and decisive strike, the fire extinguisher solidly smashing into Sunday’s occiput. The latter immediately let out a muffled hum, collapsing straight down in disbelief, one finger stubbornly pointing forward.

”Clearly··· as long as I reach······ that place···”

Sunday: X__X

·····

At the same time, Robin, hidden in the darkness, didn’t rush to act. Because based on the previous experiences and her intuition, she believed there would definitely be more experts sneaking in.

She just needed to wait until the end.

Tap—

Sure enough, a barely perceptible footstep came from the door. A few seconds later, a middle-aged man with brown hair quietly slipped in from outside, and looking at his appearance, it was actually Welt!

Robin sighed helplessly: As expected, another expert.

Better to wait and see.

As for why Welt appeared here, it still had to go back five minutes.

At the same time as Sunday’s conversation with Mila and Shush’s eavesdropping.

Welt was walking down the street with two cool mechs in his arms, one on each side. The evening breeze lifted his coat hem, brushed across his face, and also stirred the youthful heart in his chest.

As expected of Penacony—no matter what style of mech, they could design it here. Things like ”Super Beast Armed X,” ”Armor Brave X,” ”Gravity X”······ Welt had even gotten tired of playing with them.

In the end, he picked the two he liked most to take home, which were the two he was holding now.

However, just as he arrived at The Reverie Hotel entrance, he spotted a sneaky figure.

That person had untrustworthy golden hair, an untrustworthy suit, an untrustworthy peeping posture, and an untrustworthy face.

Welt instantly felt a surge of vigilance in his heart. He quickly found nearby cover and secretly observed this robot disguised as a golden-haired man.

What was this guy··· doing?

Was he plotting some prank? Or··· some unspeakable evil scheme?

Years of experience (chuunibyou) made Welt instantly associate it with many plots from anime and novels. So when he saw Shush quietly tailing someone, he also tailed along.

He had to see what was going on.

In this way, he followed Shush to the floor where Stelle was, and personally watched as Shush picked up a fire extinguisher from the hallway and quietly sneaked into Stelle’s room.

In an instant, a chilling thought emerged in Welt’s mind: This Shush guy, couldn’t have triggered some malicious virus program left by Void Archives, resulting in entering an ”anti-organic” state, wanting to secretly take out Stelle and the others?

Not good, Shush is in danger!

Welt, after all, was an experienced senior. Without any hesitation, he pulled out his cane from thin air and quietly followed into the room, just in time to witness this scene—in the darkness, Shush raised the fire extinguisher high and solidly knocked someone out.

”Hmm? Why are there so many people here?”

As for the fact that someone else had come behind him, Shush was still completely unaware at this moment. It looked somewhat headache-stricken at the three people already asleep at its feet, murmuring to itself: ”Could there be some danger? In that case, better to notify Stelle passenger first, otherwise—”

Duang!

Before Shush could finish speaking, a heavy blow suddenly struck from the darkness, knocking it to the ground on the spot.

Having landed the hit, Welt didn’t stop there. As an experienced senior, he deeply understood the importance of finishing blows. So regardless of anything, he directly entered berserk mode, one second six strikes, repeatedly corpse-whipping Shush.

Shush: X__X

Now, only two people were left moving in the living room.

In the darkness, Robin glanced once more toward the room door. Her intuition told her that this time, it seemed like there really was no one else.

This meant she could make her move.

However, Welt at this moment hadn’t realized he was also targeted. He frowned looking at the four figures lying at his feet, his mind momentarily crashing: These young people have such good health? All sleeping at the bedroom door?

Ah no, this Sunday seems to have been knocked out by Shush··· No, why would Sunday appear here? And why are there steel pipes all over the floor?

Welt puzzledly looked toward the bedroom door. Judging by the direction they fell, it seemed they all wanted to enter this room. Who lived here? And why were they doing this?

Welt slowly reached out toward the doorknob, intending to investigate—

Duang!

A swift muffled strike suddenly extended from behind Welt, solidly smashing into his occiput.

”Urgh······”

Welt let out a muffled hum and collapsed on the spot.

Before losing consciousness, he said his last words:

”If I’d known··· I’d have··· checked behind first······”

Welt: X__X

”Phew.”

Robin wiped the cold sweat from her forehead and casually tossed the steel pipe. Tonight was truly shady to no end, with people coming one after another, almost causing a flip.

But fortunately, the one laughing last was still her, Robin.

With that thought, she even specially turned back to check behind her. Once she confirmed again that no one else would come, she then turned her gaze to the bedroom doorknob.

Perhaps this was ”one general’s success built on ten thousand bones”?

Robin walked past the bodies of the crowd, arriving before the doorknob symbolizing victory, and took a deep breath.

Click.

She twisted the doorknob and opened this ”world” that ten thousand people yearned for.
