What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 224: Chapter 224: High-End Game, Often...

”...”

Silence, a long silence.

Everyone unanimously looked at Sparkle, and as the center of the gazes, Sparkle first was stunned, then panicked and waved her hands repeatedly: ”No! I proposed this method doesn’t mean I want to go myself! Don’t look at me with those eyes, okay?”

Stelle crossed her arms, looking down at Sparkle, and said flatly: ”Don’t shirk, among so many people here, besides you, who else can transform?”

Sparkle yanked off the nursing mask tied to her head, ”If you want to transform, you go! I guarantee you’ll be indistinguishable from the big star!”

Stelle pressed one hand on Sparkle’s pretty face: ”I refuse! Aren’t you a natural actor, super drama master? I’m not as good at acting as you.”

Sparkle angrily said: ”So what if I’m good at acting? Being good at acting means I have to be pushed out to sacrifice? What kind of damn Wuwuber logic is this?!”

Stelle: ”...Robin! Miss Robin, why don’t you act as Gallagher’s stand-in? Sparkle can turn you into his appearance...”

She felt that with Robin’s brother-con traits, she would definitely accept gladly.

Robin regretfully shook her head: ”Sorry, it’s not that I don’t want to do it, but... I’ve been with brother for too long, he’s extremely sensitive to my aura, probably as soon as I get close, I’ll be directly exposed.”

Stelle looked at Black Swan again, the latter seemed to know what she wanted to say and immediately smiled and shook her head: ”No body-selling service provided~”

Gallagher on the side looked miserable: ”Now you know how I feel, right?”

After a fruitless search, Stelle turned her gaze back to Sparkle: ”Lady Sparkle, for Penacony, for the entire Asdana star system, just sacrifice a bit!”

Sparkle: ”Why don’t you sacrifice? You sacrifice first and I’ll sacrifice!”

The two kept shoving each other’s faces, neither willing to let go first.

”You two, I have a small suggestion.”

Black Swan smiled and interrupted the deadlock between the two: ”Since you two are at an impasse, why not use the oldest solution in the galaxy—’Preservation, Voracity, Equilibrium’, how about it?”

”What thing?” Stelle asked puzzledly: ”What’s that?”

Sparkle was also confused; she similarly hadn’t heard of this so-called ”oldest solution in the galaxy.”

It sounded like some profound method involving the entanglement between Paths.

Black Swan cleared her throat: ”[Voracity] will devour [Preservation]’s wall, so [Voracity] is greater than [Preservation]; [Equilibrium]’s HooH will balance [Voracity], so [Equilibrium] is greater than [Voracity]; and [Preservation]’s giant hammer doesn’t care about you this or that, so [Preservation] is greater than [Equilibrium]...”

Stelle & Sparkle: ”This is basically rock-paper-scissors, right?!”

”The meaning is like that, fair and reasonable.” Black Swan chuckled lightly, ”Three rounds two wins, I’ll be the referee for you two, how about it?”

Stelle and Sparkle were silent for a few seconds, then unanimously answered: ”Good!”

...

”Then I announce, the first round match, officially—begins!” Black Swan withdrew her hand from between Stelle and Sparkle, stepping aside.

”Oh? Sparkle, what will you play in the first round?”

Stelle crossed her arms, with a confident look: ”Rock? Scissors? Or paper?”

”Ya ley ya ley, you might not know yet, my skills in this area have already transcended the mundane. Just one of my past achievements is a peak you can only aspire to but never reach in your lifetime.”

Upon hearing this, Sparkle sneered, her small hand hidden behind her back. At this moment, the gaze of [Enigmata] seemed to be cast here, ”A mere rock-paper-scissors, what achievement is unreachable by others? If you think others can’t reach it, it can only be said that your vision is too narrow.”

Stelle smiled, she said this: ”Let me ask... can you play rock-paper-scissors with a mirror and win?”

Sparkle: ”What’s impossible about that..... What?”

Stelle: ”A few days ago, I played rock-paper-scissors in front of the train’s vanity mirror (Court of Forgetting), I won, she lost.”

Sparkle was dumbfounded: ”Then... then you being able to stand here is truly a miracle.”

Stelle waved her hand indifferently: ”No need to waste words, come on, I’ve already seen your future.”

”Rock paper scis—”

”Paper!”

Both sides acted at the same time, Stelle played rock, while Sparkle played scissors.

”Hahahahaha—”

Stelle laughed triumphantly towards the sky: ”Boxer shorts boxer shorts! I said it, I can do anything wahahaha—”

”Damn it!”

Sparkle bit her silver teeth, clenching her fists tight. Could it be, she really can’t do anything?

—” [Don’t worry, the Elation system will escort you!] ”

At this moment, a long-lost voice suddenly rang in Sparkle’s mind: ” [Given your good Elation Value, this system will automatically bring you a luck buff bonus. In the next round, the opponent’s win rate will increase to ninety-nine percent.] ”

Upon hearing this, Sparkle was delighted inside, then slowly exhaled: Little gray hair, don’t blame Lady Sparkle for winning unfairly; opportunities are for those with cheats!

Not everyone can traverse with their own cheat like her!

If to blame, blame yourself for not having a cheat... Wait?

What did the system just say... whose win rate increased to ninety-nine percent?!

Sparkle was confused. Ber, isn’t this her system? Why would it buff the opponent’s win rate?

Elation system, is this how you torment your host?

Sparkle’s heart instantly fell into an ice cellar; she could even imagine after the second round, Stelle’s smug face, and herself forced to become Gallagher in some 18+ scenes.

”Hehe, life ah...”

Sparkle smiled frankly, breaking the jar and said: ”Come on, end it quickly, world hurry up and perish.”

”Rock paper scis—”

”Paper!”

The outcome had no suspense; this time, Stelle played paper, while Sparkle played scissors.

It was Sparkle who won.

Sparkle: ?

She looked incredulously at her ”scissors,” then at the opponent’s ”paper.” In an instant, a flash of enlightenment emerged in her heart:

Right! This is the [Elation] system!

In Elation’s logic, high probability = low probability!

”Hehe...”

Sparkle suddenly laughed. Although her height was lacking, she still looked at Stelle with disdainful eyes, ”Come on, little gray hair, I’ve already got the sure-win grasp. In this last round, you won’t even have the chance to struggle.”

Stelle swallowed her saliva; for some reason, a bad premonition suddenly surged in her heart.

As everyone knows, when Sparkle shows this expression, it means she already has the sure-win grasp.

But in rock-paper-scissors this game, what sure-win technique is there?

”Rock paper...”

”Paper!”

Both sides acted at the same time. When Stelle looked at Sparkle’s hand, she was immediately stunned, pupils shaking.

Because Sparkle’s hand at this moment was very strange: two fingers extended like scissors, but the other three fingers were perpendicular to the palm extended, like a chicken claw.

Stelle played rock this round; logically, she should win.

—”I announce...”

Black Swan’s voice rang out; she grabbed Sparkle’s hand and raised it high, ”In this three rounds two wins match, Sparkle wins!”

Stelle: ”Nani?!”
