What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 213: Chapter 213: This Is the First Time I’ve Said It, and Also the Last Time

The effects brought by misfortune were obvious. In just a few seconds, all the flying cars on the field except for the Aventurine team were damaged. Let alone maintaining speed, they couldn’t even control them to avoid crashing into the guardrails.

Soon, the Aventurine team sped away in a cloud of dust, to the point where even their backs couldn’t be seen.

”It’s over, it’s over, this is completely over. What kind of perverted skill is this? I’ve never seen it before; how could we possibly beat it?”

Stelle hugged her head with both hands, her face full of despair: ”If we lose this race, Sunday will have an excuse not to see us. Then, as time drags on, he’ll secretly use various contracts to erode Mikhail’s shares behind the scenes, and in the end, we’ll get nothing!”

”I still owe eight billion Credits!”

”Don’t be afraid, kids. I’m here.”

Welt unhurriedly adjusted his glasses, and with a wave of his hand, dark red Path power poured out. Using the power of the Herrscher of Reason to ”reconstruct,” he modified the flying cars of the three groups.

Although they were still behind in progress, at least there was hope of catching up.

But even so, Stelle still had a mournful face: ”It’s useless, Uncle Yang. In this kind of racing competition, unless the other side makes a mistake, it’s impossible for us to catch up.”

Anyone who has played racing games knows that when everyone’s car speed and skill are about the same, it’s very likely that the rankings won’t change from start to finish throughout the entire race.

Racing is all about who exposes a flaw first.

And their current flaw had obviously reached an irreparable extent.

”Stelle, you have to believe that in this world, nothing is impossible.”

Himeko said patiently: ”Don’t worry, as your elder, I will naturally help your two teams catch up.”

”You guys get ready quickly and fasten your seatbelts.”

Stelle: ?

Although very puzzled, her intuition told Stelle to obediently listen, so she honestly fastened her seatbelt and waited for these two’s performance.

”...Do you believe in gravity?”

Welt softly chanted the line from his mouth, his cane transforming into a purple-black sphere. In an instant, the gravity of Stelle’s team and March 7th’s team’s flying cars was changed, suspending them into the air.

Himeko took a deep breath and stepped out—

Crack!

The track was stepped on by Himeko, creating a big pit. Her figure rushed out like a cannonball, grabbing one flying car in each hand, forcefully carrying the two cars forward in pursuit!

Stelle and Sparkle subconsciously hugged each other: ”Aaaaaah—”

What kind of operation is this?!

Is this human?

”Go! Stelle, March!”

”Carry our will and head toward victory!”

”Drink up—”

Himeko swung fiercely, and the two spherical flying cars flew out instantly. The flying cars crossed the curved track, pursuing straight toward the Aventurine team in a straight line. Under the enhancement of Himeko’s terrifying power, they actually caught up to the previous gap and drove side by side with them!

”What?!”

Ratio, seeing this scene, had her pupils shake: This was already outside her calculations!

—”Hahaha, hit, right on target!”

After Himeko threw the two teams out, a burst of hearty laughter came from behind. Following the sound, the one laughing was actually Acheron.

Although she had been hit by Ratio’s ”failing” debuff before, after such a period of time, her state had already recovered.

However, what made Welt and the others somewhat strange was that even though she had recovered to normal, the flying car was still in a damaged state. So how did she plan to respond?

”Your spirit of sacrificing yourselves for righteousness truly makes me admire you!”

Acheron cupped her fists toward the two: ”Since that’s the case, then I indeed should bring out my true strength. Otherwise, it would be unworthy of such admirable opponents like you!”

With that, she once again gripped toward the sky, ”Come out, Thunder X! (Copyright warning)”

Buzz buzz—

As her words fell, a burst of thunder streaked across the sky, faintly forming the phantom of a middle-aged man. The phantom raised a hand, and a brand-new car emerged from the void.

Acheron summoned a brand-new car! Although it wasn’t a racing car for the competition, just from the appearance and the car logo, one could tell that this car’s speed wouldn’t be slow.

”This is XXsu7, speed is guaranteed in this aspect!”

Seeing Welt’s surprised gaze, Acheron explained with a smile.

Acheron jumped into the car, bent down, and with a ”crunch,” broke off the brake pads: ”Not the brakes I like, just throw them away!”

”Ifrit, drive!”

”Yes, master!”

”...”

The current race situation was very tense. The Aventurine team, Stelle’s team, and March 7th’s team could be said to be driving side by side, while Acheron’s team, after desperately removing the brakes, actually showed a trend of catching up.

—”The race is already halfway through, everyone, your performances have made me very satisfied.”

At this moment, the advertising screens on both sides of the track suddenly emitted a voice in unison. Sunday’s face appeared on them, smiling: ”Since the race is so hard to separate, I’ll add some spice for you!”

”From now on, special items will randomly drop on the track. Please pay attention to receive them, contestants~”

Whoosh whoosh—

As Sunday’s words fell, the sky suddenly rained down dense ”heavy rain,” which were identical gift boxes. Obviously, these were the competition items Sunday mentioned.

Sparkle, with quick eyes and hands, caught one and opened it. When she saw what was inside, her little face immediately stiffened: ”What is this? A toy gun for kids?”

On the other side, Firefly also received a gift box. Opening it, olive oil?

She casually stuffed the olive oil into her pocket. What use is this thing?

—”Oh? A Hanu Brothers same-model rocket launcher? Interesting.”

On the other side, Ratio held a rocket launcher bigger than herself, her style completely out of place with this side.

Stelle: ”Hey! This is cheating, right? How can such a big thing be pulled out from such a small gift box?!”

”Four-dimensional technology, you don’t understand!” Ratio aimed the rocket launcher at Stelle’s team, ”Sorry, although meeting Sunday involves a trillion-level deal for us, we can’t give the opportunity to you.”

”Aaah!”

Sparkle and Stelle both panicked, desperately picking up boxes, but what came out from inside were all useless junk, and Ratio didn’t give them a chance to struggle, directly pulling the trigger.

Whoosh—

The whole world seemed to be slowed down, the shell heading straight toward Stelle. Just as she felt she was definitely done for this time, a figure suddenly stood out from the side—

...

...Eh?

After waiting for several seconds, the explosion still didn’t happen. This couldn’t help but make Stelle puzzledly open one eye, and it was at this time that she discovered that in front of her stood a burly figure.

It was the well-known Clockie Father.

And the shell shot toward him was now moving slowly like a snail, as if its speed had been infinitely slowed down.

”Friend, I said, I am with you.” Clockie Father turned his head and gave Stelle a reassuring look.

”Friend, after expelling Mick from Mi nationality, my power has gradually returned. Although not much, it’s enough.”

Clockie Father reached out and lightly caught the shell, saying nonchalantly: ”Are you ready? Time is about to start slowing down!”
