Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

The immense power flows within him.

Since fashioning his divine body, Lu Li felt for the first time that his insides were no longer so hollow.

The sensation of that power seeming to flow through his blood was deeply captivating.

One billion, one hundred and fifty million star power!

Such a vast amount of energy could rival that of a dwarf star system!

”It only took me nine days to elevate from fifteen million star power to one billion, one hundred and fifty million star power.”

Lu Li couldn’t help but marvel secretly: this speed of power growth was incredibly fast.

More importantly, the speed of his power growth would become faster and faster in the future.

For instance, from the moment he condensed the ”primitive cosmos” within himself till now, he had accumulated a total increase of over a billion star power of energy.

And by tomorrow, the total energy increase will reach over two billion, two hundred million star power.

Counting his own fifteen million star power, that’s about two billion, four hundred million star power!

Lu Li could confidently say that even without resorting to the power of ”laws,” he could destroy a dwarf star system like the Small Magellanic Cloud in no time, maybe six or seven seconds, and possibly just three or four seconds by tomorrow.

With such immense power, he indeed wanted to do something.

But Lu Li was very clear that he could not act recklessly.

Otherwise, the damage to the entire cosmos would be too great.

This left him with a sense of disparity, having divine power with nowhere to use it.

Lu Li thought to himself, if only another race like the Eternal Motion Race, ignorant of the threat, came along, he could openly and without hesitation destroy a dwarf star system, or even a more powerful race, maybe even a true planet.

Of course, he knew this was wishful thinking. Now, the entire Virgo Supercluster knew how terrifying his destructive power was, and even beyond the Virgo Supercluster, it was somewhat rumored. No intelligent life race would be foolish enough to seek death.

Lu Li looked at Liu Kexin, who was drowsy in his arms, and was ready to carry her inside.

Suddenly, the phone rang with a ”ding ding” sound.

Liu Kexin murmured, ”There’s a call coming in, see who it is.”

Lu Li didn’t need to look to know who it was. He casually used his mind to press the answer key and then said remotely, ”Old Gu, is there something you need from me? I rarely get some peace, can’t you avoid looking for me unless it’s necessary?”

Well, he actually knew what it was about; he just didn’t want to deal with it, so he deliberately said that.

Gu Wei couldn’t help but smile bitterly and said, ”Mr. Lu, I don’t want to bother you either, but all the big bosses from the various star systems have come to Earth wanting to visit you. I really have no choice.”

Lu Li said casually, ”What’s the big deal? Just tell them I’m traveling the cosmos. If they want to wait, let them wait for years or decades. Maybe when I’m in a good mood, I’ll agree to meet them.”

Gu Wei said helplessly, ”Alright, besides the big bosses wanting to visit you, I have another matter to report.”

Lu Li said knowingly, ”You’re talking about the Martial Hero Race’s office in the Laniakea Supercluster contacting the Milky Way, planning to visit Earth?”

Gu Wei responded, ”You already knew?”

Nonsense, my range of perception has reached over 230 million light years, how could I not know what’s going on with the Galaxy Alliance?

Lu Li said straightforwardly, ”No meeting.”

Gu Wei asked weakly, ”It’s said that the Martial Hero Race is a Cosmic Emperor Race, the most powerful intelligent civilization race in our known cosmos. Wouldn’t it be inappropriate not to meet them?”

Lu Li chuckled lightly, ”What’s the big deal? The Cosmic Emperor of the Martial Hero Race hasn’t come personally. Does every Tom, Dick, and Harry want to meet me? I’d be worked to death. If the Cosmic Emperor himself came, I might meet him, discuss Earth civilization, and the Milky Way’s development. As for others, no meeting.”

Gu Wei didn’t dare to say much, so he could only reply, ”Alright, I understand. If anyone wants to visit, I’ll just say you’re not available.”

Lu Li said, ”Okay, if there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”

”Alright, you take care.”

Gu Wei wisely hung up the phone.

After the call ended, Liu Kexin slightly tilted her head and asked, ”Honey, those big bosses transcended countless light years to the Milky Way, is it really alright that you don’t meet them?”

Lu Li smiled and said, ”You don’t understand; if I meet them too easily, it would give them the sense that I’m easy to deal with. It might cause friction with the Milky Way, and they’d come seeking my forgiveness. But if I make myself difficult to please, they’ll have no delusions and will keep a respectful distance from the Milky Way. I’m protecting the Milky Way, not really refusing to meet them.”

Alright, he was completely bluffing.

The real reason was that he couldn’t be bothered to entertain those external system nobles.

However, Liu Kexin believed it was true and said, ”That makes some sense. The more mysterious you appear, the more they are in awe of you, not daring to do anything to our Milky Way.”

Lu Li reached out to gently stroke the hair on her forehead, ”Right now, I just don’t want to do anything, only want to be with you and my parents.”

Hearing this, Liu Kexin gave a sweet, soft hum.

...

Four or five days passed by in a flash.

During these days, Lu Li’s power continuously skyrocketed, having increased from one billion, one hundred and fifty million star power to a terrifying five billion, seven hundred and eighty-one million star power.
