ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

I decided to log in quickly and then teleport myself quickly as well. Normally such a swift and beautiful action would be impossible for me to accomplish, especially with all those people that are still around the place, but this time around the flow of my actions was so beautiful and swift that I succeeded in leaving this place with no one being able to notice me. Well, maybe someone did, but that is not really important here right now.

That being said, recovering Sigma turned out to be quite a struggle as well, because she was surrounded by other Conquest Dolls from all directions, being asked questions and smiling like an idiot the whole time, but…… No, let’s just say that I managed to grab her and leave without going too much into the details. Yes, let’s go with that. Also, it would seem that the fact that she had the “N” Patch installed inside of her systems and the fact that she succeeded in defeating the Orchestra alongside me resulted in her being put at the very top of the Conquest Doll hierarchy.

That being said, the People around here (at least humanoid in shape) were already busy and having fun with Sigma, so there was no helping it! It would be hard for me to just waltz in here and take her away from them just like that. Originally I wanted to just walk right up to them and tell Sigma that we needed to go, but that would be really troublesome, because other Conquest Dolls would most probably snitch on me to other Players if they came here asking why was Sigma gone all of a sudden. Even though we were just going to head towards Rabbitz, it might be necessary to make a stop somewhere alongside the road…… Oh well, it’s all good. It’s better to be as inconspicuous as we possibly can. Way less headaches down the road, if you were to ask me.

「Hmm…… Hmm……」

But if that’s the case, then whatever it is that we should do right now? It’s not like I don’t have some other businesses to attend to for the time being, but there is still the question of what we should do after I am done taking care of all of them…… Hmm, now this is quite a pickle to be in, indeed…… While it is true when I said that I have a bunch of things that needed to get done right about now, I have come to quite a standstill when it comes to deciding which one we should tackle first. I mean, things like that tend to happen all the time when none of the things on your “To Do List” are marked with “Top Priority” or “Do First” right next to them.

「Maybe we should just try and go back for the time being? See what that action might get us?」

And since we have managed to take down the Orchestra of the Gloomy Melody, that is yet another Unique Monster…… It would mean that Weissash is back at his throne room once again. At least that should be the case here, since up until now it seems to be the pattern that this particular NPC is following.

……………

Right about now we are at the innermost part of the Rabbitz Palace, the Bunny Court.

「Oh, if it isn’t Sanraku lad…… It’s been a while, huh? And I see that the seal is gone as well. Does that mean that you managed to properly wield what lies inside of it?」

Before I even knew what I was doing, I took out the Storm Emperor Sword and presented it to Weissash. Of course, the seal was now gone and the sword itself was in its resurrected form.

「Yeah, as you can clearly see. Thanks for lending me this bad boy, Big Bro. I really couldn’t have done it without it……」

I don’t think that Weissash meant to either insult me with those words or to cheer me on in any way, but let me say this ––––– this Agatoreo he lent me back then was really useful to me. Really, I couldn’t have possibly done anything about the Orchestra if it wasn’t for that sword. It was also a wonderful thing that for whatever reason the other “Sanraku” was unable to copy it, otherwise I would have been is some seriously deep shit. Just imagine what it could have done with such destructive power! Speaking of luxury, I would like to continue borrowing this sword as it is, but I’m afraid that if I do that, I might actually start serving as a replacement for firewood in Break’s forge, so it’s best for me to just return the sword before that comes to pass.

「Kakaka, seeing that bouncing wind being blown away just like that…… Even if it’s just on a really small scale, it’s still marvelous that you were able to master it……」

Huh? What’s this? Does that meant that the idea of someone else wielding this Storm Emperor’s Sword is so commonplace to Weissash that he would have no trouble with lending it to me for a while longer? Or maybe it’s just my own theory, one that does not have any ground in reality? But does that mean that other players would also be able to wield it under the right set of circumstances? Isn’t that a little bit unreasonable? Sure seems that way to me.

「Well then……… Oh, that’s right, Sanraku, my lad?」

「Yes? What is it, Big Bro?」

「You might want to pay Break’s workshop a visit sometimes soon. It would seem that she has stumbled upon some problem or a great worry of sorts……」

Ah, this right now! I know what that was! It was a flag, wasn’t it!? If it was not, then I don’t know what a flag even is! And seeing that it was so ham—fisted to me right now, it surely must mean that it is about something absolutely important, right!? So if that is the game you are playing in here, I’m on!

However, if it’s my full-time blacksmith, Break, who is in trouble, no matter what that trouble may be, as her loyal costumer I feel pretty much obliged to act and go offer her my help on the matter. Well, as long as it does not involve going anywhere that is really far away from here. That might actually be really cumbersome to do, even if I am such a wonderful and kind soul! After all, everything in this world has its share of limitations! Myself included!

…

………

……………

「No! that’s not it! That’s not the material that I am looking for! In even close!!!」

「Oh? Ooh? What’s this?」

「It would seem that Sis is being even rougher than usual with her materials and other things……」

Today there was something really special, or should I say odd about Break’s behavior? She seemed either extremely focused to me, or it could have been that she was simply on the verge of fainting. Either way, she seemed to be in a state of utmost frenzy. She was also hitting that anvil as if it was her mortal enemy, all the time muttering things to herself.

Is everything alright, Break? You’re not going crazy, aren’t you?
