ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

Without a shred of a doubt, “Library” can be said to be one of ShangriLa Frontier’s biggest guilds, uniting under its banner all sorts of people who want to dedicate their playtime to gather as much information about the elusive world of ShanFro as humanly possible. And their quest for understanding this world does not only limit to the inside of the game’s world, but outside of it as well.

The main reason why they decided to lend me their aid in this battle is mostly because that my revelations managed to uncover the existence of the “Canonical” route of the Orchestra battle as opposed to the “Side” route that was previously discovered. And now, because of that they were cooperating with me to discover as much as possible about this “Canonical” route, which means that me advancing this Unique Scenario and beating the real Orchestra in battle are actually goals that align perfectly with their own agenda. However, until I actually manage to defeat the Orchestra, nothing about their verification can actually start or go forward.

The path leading towards discovering the truth is similar in hardship to a lonely snake trying to climb one steep mountaintop after another, but even if you ultimately do not discover the truth, there is still a whole lot of things that you get to learn alongside the way. But right about now…… Yes, I think that we are currently the closest to discovering that truth than we have ever been before. Whatever that truth may actually be.

That being said, I can certainly feel the weight of the Professor and “Library”’s expectations on my shoulders. So let’s get a move on here so that we won’t end up betraying those expectations, or let them down!

[Knowing that pesky little Orchestra, it must be hiding somewhere where it thinks that no one will ever be able to find it…… Alright, Sigma!]

[The gorgeous brilliance, shining bright! The nightless sky upon which the moonlight shines bright……!]

While she carries on with her song, Sigma opens up a window made specially for the Conquest Dolls and starts to operate it. Then she unfolds it in one swift motion. At first glance the thing that was brought forth by this action looked like a slightly bigger medal or a disc. At first she was holding it on the back side of her hand, but then the medal started to follow her movements to ultimately start floating in the air and move independently from the one who summoned it.

[Yo, you stupid Orchestra! You seem to be really proud of that copycat abilities of yours, huh? But I think that you can only copy the information that are passed onto you in real time, what do you say to that? Then let’s run a little test in here, shall we? For you see, this particular item does not belong to me! So if I were to use it here…… I wonder just how you would react to that, huh!?]

Alright, let’s go, “Library”! It’s time to see if your hypothesis was actually right or not! And as part of that theory, what we needed here was for me to collect the equipment that the Conquest Doll would normally use and try to use it myself…… Here! Parts Collector, “Recoverer”!!!!

This particular item is owned by the Conquest Doll herself, and it can be voluntarily passed onto the contracted Player who can then use that item as if it was their own possession. However, there is also a slight catch here. For you see, the Conquest Doll passively stays in control of the item at all times!

To make a long story short about what this thing does, it is actually this tool that Sigma uses to retrieve all of my weapons that were thrown away and fallen drop items whenever I am still fighting out there and you don’t want for those items to just litter all over the floor. Now, how come that the “Library” managed to deduce that the Players can use that item as well even if they are not the original owners? I am actually going to spare you the whole thinking process here because it is needlessly complicated and quite boring, but…… Well, the important thing here is that there are battles in which a tool like that is really convenient to both have and utilize, and then we just happened to go with the flow and confirm it. And that’s all there is to it, really..

[Now, let’s see just how you are going to imitate this thing! Now try to make it at least a little bit entertaining, if nothing else!]

Just then, the medal starts to shine bright, and then something similar to the thin wire made out of threads of light stretches out towards the weapons that I left behind stuck in the ground, attaching itself to the weapons’ handles.

I then pulled on the thread and started to pull the weapons closer towards me, at the same time throwing the Jewel Sword from the hand I was holding it in into my other hand, making my original hand free and empty…… Alright! Preparations are all but complete, let’s go! Let’s get this show on the road!

[Did you know!? It’s always a good idea to have such a convenient tool on you in case an emergency happening! An emergency quite like this one!]

It’s time for some more Super Fast Window Operations! Aguacante, a handgun in my left hand and a sword Esca-Valach in my right hand! Ah, what nostalgic feeling this is! It’s totally reminding me of the Cosmo Buster days and the battle style I adopted there!

Now then! Forward, forward, forward! Let’s just press on while firing Aguacate all this time, without giving our opponent a moment to rest! Now here’s a really good thing about handguns, what makes them so convenient: they are small and compact enough that you can easily use them in close quarters, so you can even use them while having Infight skill active and it won’t cause any problems. I wonder what the other “Sanraku” going to do here? Focus only on the flying bullets, or maybe look at the muzzle itself and predict their trajectory that way? The other “Sanraku” avoids the bullets without showing any ounce of impatience here, and slashes towards me with the Whale Rabbit Moon, trying to put some distance between itself and I, since I have purposefully went as close towards it as possible, getting into the melee range.

However, even a complete fool would be able to predict what is going to happen next. Or rather, everything is going according to my plan. I wanted for the other “me” to come closer, and this is exactly what was happening right now.

The golden sword in my right hand prevents the first blow, and the other blow that was coming my way is successfully evaded by rotating a little bit and stepping in the right direction. I then responded with a straight back kick aimed at the calf of the other”Sanraku”…… but just as I expected, it managed to avoid it by jumping in the air.

[Huh!]
