ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

When it comes to that Meteorite Iron Mirror that allows the player to stream the content of their games, there is a certain frame in the corner of this device that allows for tinkering with various stream settings and it can even display some of the comments from the ones who were currently watching. And at the current moment there was one particular line under the tab “Orche Verification” that happened to catch my eye.

Streamer’s Name: Miseru

「HOO, SO, THE SECOND OPPONENT IS GOING TO BE THE EMPEROR CRYSTAL SCORPION, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE ALEXANDRITE SCORPION, HUH?」

「And!? Is there any particular reason why you are mentioning that fact in here!?」

「Menako: Hey! Don’t you just “Is there any particular reason why you are mentioning that fact in here!?” us all in here!!」

「Cobalt: But!? What does that even supposed to mean!? I don’t get it!!」

「Mamas: Don’t you dare to just casually drop a name of a monster that no one has ever heard of before as if you were assuming that we all know what you are talking about!!」

「Papelt: Does that mean that this thing is somewhat different from your usual Crystal Scorpion? Like, the color scheme and such?」

「Amacha: Or is it just a Crystal Scorpion but with a different name to it? Now I am completely lost here.」

「Thunder screw: Crystal Scorpion? What the hell is that supposed to be?」

「Vitamin X: Am I the only one who is more concerned about that “Extraordinary Monster” that was mentioned before!? What the hell was that supposed to be, huh!?」

「Perfect Prima: Wait, wasn’t Fossil Miners the name of some clan not so long ago?」

「Buchikamas: ShanFro has way too many strong scorpions for its own good!」

「Daiginjo: And its able to shoot energy beams!? What the actual hell!?」

「Papelt: Wait, it does!? Like, actual energy beams!?」

「Beat Natto: No, wait a second, it was reflected just now! What is going on!?」

「Eeehhh……? The hell is all this supposed to be about?」

「Buchikamas: Miseru seems to be laughing his ass off right about now.」

「Win Don: No, I’d say that there is too much going on at the screen for us to be able to actually comment it all.」

「Juku’s Eki Nishi Entrance: But what about the commentary!? Why is there no commentary here!?」

「Bukuro Construction: Why isn’t he simply trying to avoid it all……?」

「Amacha: Don’t just run across the sky as if it was the most natural thing in the world to do!!」

「Vitamin X: Isn’t it a bug of some sort?」

「Mamas: Could it be that he has some sort of sonar embedded in his brain or something like that?」

「THIS IS THIS, AND THAT IS THAT! THOSE ARE TWO COMPLETELY SEPARATE MATTERS!!」

「Thunder Screw: Oh, an explanation. Or was that supposed to be it?」

「Perfect Prime: And he thinks that we are simply going to understand from a luckluster explanation like that!?」

「IT’S CALLED BEAM REFLECTION, BEAM REFLECTION!! YOU DO THAT, GET SOME NICE HITS IN, AND THEN YOU GET THE HELL OUT OF THE DANGER ZONE!! ALSO, THE PRIMARY TARGET FOR ATTACKS IS THAT TAIL! BUT IF YOU CAN’T DO THAT, AVOIDING IT IS JUST AS GOOD OF AN OPTION AS WELL! 」

「Daiginjo: Yeah, I still don’t understand a single thing of what is going on.」

「Win Don: Yeah, same here. If anything, I am even more confused than I was before.」

「Tajiman: Yeah, what they said, what they said.」

「Ichigo: I mean, maybe its an effect that is somehow tied up to the armor that he is wearing? Or something like that?」

「NO, ICHIGO-SAN, THAT’S NOT ACTUALLY WHAT IS HAPPENING. YOU HAVE IT ALL WRONG. AND TO ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS, YES, THERE IS A HUMAN FACE UNDERNEATH THAT MASK, AND NO, I AM CURRENTLY WEARING AS LITLE AROMOR AS POSSIBLE DUE TO SOME…… WELL, CIRCUMSTANCES.」

「Cobalt: Hmm, that actually makes some sense. I guess there is no use in not wearing armor if you were able to wear one, huh?」

「Coconut: But because he does not wear armor he must focus on avoidance and doing some hit and run tactics.」

「Musukko: No, go touch grass.」

「Nukazuke: If it was about me, I would start striking it with a pickaxe or something similar like that.」

「Collateral Po: Yeah, touching grass it is.」

「Yucatan Peninsula: I second that grass opinion.」

「Vitamin X: I vote for grass as well.」

「Buchikamas: What’s even funnier here is that his strategy seems to be really effective up until this point in time. So it might looks stupid, but it works.」

「Bukuro Construction: No, but wouldn’t that be as effective as charging in blindly? Although I must say, reinforced pickaxe seems like a good weapon to go against the hardness of the crystal.」

「Mamas: No, this might seem like a good idea, but think about it for a moment. You might want to try it, but what if you happen to die just before you are actually going to determine anything useful?」

「Thunder Screw: But come to think of it, doesn’t that scorpion seem way too unproportioned to you all? How is it going to perform complex maneuvers such as coming to halt or making sharp turns with body so large?」

「Vitamin X: I guess it must not really move about the place? Like, maybe its really territorial? Only beginning to move when it feels that its turf is in danger?」

「Juku’s Eki Nishi Entrance: You can always try to play the long-range battle here, you know? Try to use some long distance weapon to just take potshots at this thing from a safe distance outside of its effective attack range.」

「NO, THAT STRATEGY WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD, IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE FACT THAT THIS THING IS CAPABLE OF LONG-RANGE BOMBARDMENT AS WELL. SO YOU WOULD ONLY PUT YOURSELF AT A SEVERE DISADVANTAGE. ALSO, GOOD MENTION ABOUT THEM BEING TERRITORIAL. HIT AND RUN TACTICS WORK THE BEST HERE, BUT YOU NEED TO BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHERE YOU ARE RUNNING TO. YOU MIGHT EVEN RUN INOT ANOTER CRYSTAL EMPEROR SCORPION’S TURF COMPLETELY BY ACCIDENT, EFFECTIVELY MAKING A ONE ON ONE BATTLE INTO A ONE VERSUS TWO SKIRMISH. …… OH, WELL, WON’T YOU LOOK AT THAT? IT’S DEAD ALREADY! AMAZING, TSUCHINOKO-SAN! I FEEL LIKE I’M GETTING STRONGER JUST BY WATCHING THIS SHOW!」

「Thunder Screw: Says someone who was allegedly having trouble with taking down a simple boss monster like the Usurper Dragon. That really speaks volumes here, you know?」
