ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

Surrounded by numerous gazes fixated solely on the center of the “stage” and the ones who were still on it, there were four people in total: yours truly, Sigma, “Diva” Elise Jitter Doll, and the other “yours truly” that the “Diva” created. The final chapter is a moment in which Orchestra quiets down significantly, letting the “Diva” to sing alone. And while the “Diva” sings alone, and two warriors duke it out with their lives on the line here……… That is basically what the final chapter is all about. The last act before the Era of the Gods takes place…… The last act that shows humanity’s brilliance in all of its radiant glory.

「Non, non, non, my dear Orchestra! Sorry to break it to you like that, but that’s not how things will go in here this time around.」

Was that really a good idea for me to declare something like this out loud? I think that it was a good thing, yes. Because you see, an aria sung by only one person can only be good for so long before eventually going old and boring.

For the time being I wanted Sigma to take a step back and hide, but inside of a space such as this there are only so many places where you could hide or lay low. So I think that this strategy is a no go for now. And since the Orchestra’s uniqueness involves Conquest Dolls in some way, it is actually very easy to see what it is that needs to be done in here.

In other words, this means that while I am going to be busy fighting the other “me”, there will be someone else who is going to keep “Diva” company so that she wouldn’t feel left out.

Sigma and I are facing off against the “diva” on top of the circular stage. The light of the spotlights that fall on the “Diva” illuminate her at all times, creating her to be the absolute ruler of this closed off space. So putting the idea that she was invited in here by me, Sigma is a foreign body in this closed world, or you could say that she’s an intruder. So while the searchlights may be shining down on here, she will never actually be in the spotlight for as long as she is here.

But so what? Does it really matter all that much? We didn’t come here to be basking in the damned spotlights! We came in here to win, and that is exactly what we are going to do!

「Omitting Authentication Protocols. Starting the process of Self-Judgement.」

「Simple Storage Mechanism “Instant INVENTORY”…… Open! Beginning deployment!」

「Ensemble support loudspeaker! Ensemble harmonics speaker! Installation set!」

「Autonomous Floating Lighting Spotting Drone…… Start!」

「Photon Virtual Wired Non-Existent Cable…… Induction started ……Connection Completed!」

「Specifying the area with a radius of one meter centered on Elma = 317.」

「Idol Concept Stage Eye Dry Stage…… Beginning Buildup!」

「Oi, oi! What is this!? What are all those nice features!?」

The radiance and brilliance that thing was giving was truly blinding. There was a number of devices that emerged from the void around Sigma and then they proceeded to cut into the small part of the world of the Orchestra, doing something that could only be described as building a makeshift stage for Sigma to stand upon.

「This machine right here…… Right now I choose to stand on top of it of my own free will! After all, I was told that is it exactly one of the most basic functions that the Conquest Dolls have implemented inside of them!」

「Andrew-kun…… You really done did it now, you absolute madlad……」

Not too shabby. Not too shabby at all, if I do say so myself. Way to go, Andrew-kun, you certainly know what you wanted to do with this thing right from the get-go, huh? That’s exactly what the romance of a man is supposed to be! Human creatures have a body structure that cannot withstand these three basic temptations: creation and use of weapons of mass destruction, whole body transformation sequences with some nice close-ups, and the big-ass magic circles appearing seemingly out of nowhere and starting to work their magic.

A large circular stage formed in a blink of an eye around Sigma, with huge loudspeakers on the left and right. There was a drone-shaped spotlight illuminating the signer standing in the center, as a matter of course. The Diva was all but ready, and at the current moment her whole body was basically screaming avant-garde.

「From here on out, we are going to snatch the initiative from you and take the stage by storm, wheatear you like it or not!」

Right here and right now, this is the exact copy of a Diva of old, not recreated to the very last detail by the Conquest Doll accompanying me. And yes, you guessed it, at the current moment that Conquest Doll was just like one of those many petals that used to bloom in the cold void of space when the space ships went on their journey to find a new home for humanity! Hm? What’s that? You say that the artificial flower is never going to be the same as the real flower? Hmm, I see, I get it. Well then, if you want it to emit a nice scent so badly, then why don’t you just stick some aroma candles in there as well, huh!? That should fix the problem, wouldn’t you agree!?

「Installation Process: Complete! We can start anytime you want, Master!」

「Listen here, you Gloomy Melody! You may think that you are the greatest hotshot in town, but I am sure that in that case you won’t be having a problem with a little competition, huh? After all, it should be all too easy for you to utterly crush us! And what we are going to present here is the song of flowers that echoes across both space and time……! Now, brace yourself, Orchestra! Your song versus our song!」

Now then, could it be that the game’s system really managed to understand the official challenge that our duo managed to issue to the Orchestra? Or was that just a strange kind of coincidence that it started to prepare for battle at the exact same time? Because as soon as I screamed those words out loud, the two Divas started to duke it all out in the only way they knew how.

「「LA –––––––––!!!!!!!!!」」

It might have just been a blank gun firing its bullet to signal the start of the battle, and both myself and the other “me” surely took it that way. For once the two Divas started singing, we rushed into one another at full speed as well, not wasting any time, with the words of the song behind our backs. But that being said, remember what I told the viewers not too long ago? The status of the other “Me” is higher than my own, so of course it would be the first one to get into the range that would allow it to perform a deadly attack…… No, that’s not it! Not this time around!

「Let’s just dash and keep the initiative on our side of the field, shall we!?」
