ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

But if it is so, an unconfirmed “guess” comes to Katsu’s mind at that moment. Do you want to try it and die, or do you want to not try it and die all the same?

Either way, there is no chance of winning here and there is no time left to think about anything else. The Great Red Wing is already about to launch its next attack. The target is…… the one who was dubbed the leader.

「Uwoooh! Show me what kind of an attack pattern you have there!」

Naked consistent, Han’s assault. While Katsu casually descends to the back of the formation and affirms himself that he is going to put up a fight, the answer of the Great Red Wing is……

「Buuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr……」

「W-Whoa, a Homing attack…… BUAAAH!?」

A new pattern of flames drawn on by the wide open “wings”. Dozens of fist-sized fireballs are being released from there and they surround the leader from all directions and continued to advance towards him. The appearance of this attack was giving some hope for evasion, but in truth it was actually a homing attack through and through……

「No, that’s……」

Katsu mutters to himself while denying that fact, whispering that it couldn’t be such a thing, not in a million years. In the first place, it is a mistake to try and defeat a raid monster with only two players, because it would normally be a standard procedure to share the burden of aggro between at least a dozen of people. It is actually a miracle that Katsu was not hit by that. But it was probably just a coincidence.

Or, there is a possibility that when the number of people decreases, the AI of the Great Red Wing changes to that of “Utterly crush your enemies one by one”.

「Well then, I guess I’ll be following you very soon, Mister Leader……」

Katsu does not have enough speed to escape from a beam attack. That is, an attack that is almost equal to light speed when it comes to the reflection speed of a reaction speed of a normal human being.

Even the fastest man he knows once told him: “I can avoid it if I can see it, but I’m not faster than the speed of light.” In the case of that person, pre-reading by his own performance is included in the process of avoidance, so it’s not helpful at all. In other words, the road left for Katsu is either to die for something or to die without doing anything.

「…… Hundredth View means that while one view is focused, the other ninety nine are concentrated somewhere else.」

When it comes to the VRMMOs, there is always a possibility that all the actions that one can take might end up in a spectacular failure. Or that the reward for undergoing a challenge or ordeal is not going to be rewarding in the slightest.

Usually he would consider the risk before taking the action. But now ────

「If that idiot can do that much, I have to take the risk, too!!」

Then there is no reason to be afraid! He had no other choice but to believe in this notion himself. Right about now there is only the Great Red Wing and the mass of rock that he was holding in his hands.

「Come on, Great Red Wing! I’m sorry, for where and when I ask you to defrost!!」

The Great Red Wing has no intention behind its actions, it just plays a role that is assigned to it. The primordial beast, the Scorching Red that is the attacking institution and responsible for energy production, makes the flames spiral in response to the fetal movements of the world itself.

But not now. Now this is not the case……

It was a really, really close slip. It was just before the Red waiting for the role was completely transformed into an “Adversary”.

Therefore, the scorching wings flutter its flames as if to say, “This will be your Last Rites!”

「Now then…… Let’s compare it patiently.」

Instead of raising the rock mass in front of him, he holds it against his chest. To endure and accept it for as long as a he could, even if it was only going to be for a second or two!

「Voooooooooouuuu !!!」

Incandescent light was emitted once more, brighter than before. The destination of the light, which he managed to avoid by some divine intervention, is now struck into a block of rock that he was holding to his chest. Just as intended.

「Why you ––––––!!!!!!」

Katsu’s HP is bring reduced at a terrifying speed. No, the word shave is no longer even appropriate here. The HP that had just disappeared was slightly clenched at a bare minimum needed to keep him alive for a while longer, but his HP was completely exhausted because it was burned with the air that had become a dead zone due to too much heat being accumulated in here.

「–––––––––」

However, there is a really slight lag when it comes to the loss of HP and the loss of one’s body in this game. That moment, when your avatar is shattered to pieces by a frightening motion, gave Katsu a slight grace of being able to move his fingers because of the slip damage caused by the environment, and because he had acquired limited super armor by one of his skills.

For him, there is no need for acrobatics, or to operate the three INVENTORIES with a blind touch while bouncing around like Sanraku does. He stores only one item in the INVENTORY as fast as he can…… If you just want your index finger to remember the movement, you can afford it! That was the thought that was driving Katsu forward in here.

「………」

While Katsu’s body was on the verge of shattering to pieces, the Great Red Wing…… Right about now it was a swirling mass of smoldering magma than a mass of boiling rock that was able to receive the strongest heat in the entire world, and then it just went away and disappeared in a flash.

Mass goes to information, to the end of the door that unlocks the gods that keep storing even if they die without being scattered across the world……

「Folololololololololo ………」

Right here, it was the end of one particular raid battle.
