Although Lin Feng had previously considered that all four Tapu deities were excellent at nurturing Pokémon, that did not mean he intended to invite them back with him.

After all, these deities were not only famous across Alola but also far from unknown.

If he invited them back, the locals would likely gather at the nursery in protest.

Moreover, the four Tapu gods all had peculiar personalities.

From his observation, Tapu Koko possessed an unusually strong curiosity.

”Ko-ko?” (What a strange creature…)

Tapu Koko glanced at Lin Feng, then at Mewtwo.

In its eyes, these two were highly unusual.

One radiated a strong, natural aura of the forest.

The other possessed powerful psychic energy.

Both of their auras were comparable to the guardians of the other islands.

Yet, it was clear these were two separate beings.

It could not sense Mewtwo’s true identity.

”Hello, Tapu Koko. I am a trainer from the Huadong region. I’m here to help my Sprigatito find her mother,” Lin Feng explained.

Entering another Pokémon’s territory, it was natural for him to clarify his purpose.

”Ko-ko?”

Tapu Koko blinked, watching them, as if deciding what to think.

Soon, it flew to Lin Feng and Mewtwo, trailing behind them.

Lin Feng exhaled in relief. ”Thank you.”

Tapu Koko’s gesture meant: You go find yours. I’ll follow and watch.

Lin Feng let Dragonite land and returned it to its Pokéball.

They were now approaching the area where Bonsweet resided.

Dragonite’s size was a factor. Too large to enter the forest without frightening most Pokémon.

Yet, as soon as they entered, Lin Feng couldn’t help but marvel.

Alola’s climate was perfect for berries.

Even after just a few hundred meters alongside Mewtwo, he noticed many wild berry trees lining the path.

”This is a wonderful place to visit…”

Suddenly, a small grub emerged from the ground in front of Lin Feng. Its round body was topped with two strong pincers. It seemed intent on showing off, but the moment it noticed Mewtwo’s gaze, it immediately burrowed back underground, leaving only a small trench behind.

Lin Feng smiled quietly and didn’t pay it much attention.

If this had been when he first took over the nursery, he might have tried to catch the little creature.

But now, he was more thoughtful.

Pokémon like this rarely appeared in the Huadong region and were not bred on a large scale, indicating that Electric-type bug Pokémon were unsuitable for survival there.

Though he really wanted one to help generate electricity at home, he thought better of it.

He was no longer struggling financially, so why bother catching an Electric-type Pokémon just to save a little on the power bill?

Besides, Dragonite already knew Electric moves.

As they moved further, Lin Feng spotted the first Bonsweet tree of the journey.

It hung from a large branch, sunlight filtering through the leaves to illuminate its blue leaves.

Bonsweet closed its eyes, basking in the warm glow.

”Sweetie?”

Sensing someone’s gaze, it cautiously peeked from behind the trunk and saw Lin Feng.

”Do you know where a queen is searching for her child?”

Lin Feng asked boldly.

Simultaneously, he used his psychic energy to levitate an energy cube beside Bonsweet.

”Sweetie?”

Bonsweet’s eyes lit up at the sight of the cube, immediately captivated.

Without hesitation, it approached and tasted the cube.

Just one bite, and a smile spread across its face.

”Sweet… sweet…” it seemed to say, savoring the treat.

Lin Feng asked again.

”Can you tell me which way the queen is searching for her child?”

This time, Bonsweet pointed decisively in one direction.

”Thank you~”

Lin Feng patted it and headed toward the indicated path.

Most common Pokémon in Alola trusted humans deeply.

This was not only due to the presence of the guardian deities but also because of Alola’s rich natural resources and unique island trial traditions.

Children in Alola faced the guardian trials before reaching adulthood, cooperating and interacting with Pokémon to complete the challenges.

All of this emphasized harmony between humans, Pokémon, and nature.

In the Pokémon Sun and Moon anime, wandering Litten or Trumbeak from the forests were often seen leading young Pokémon to the human market to steal berries.

People simply smiled and watched them leave, never intervening.

Saying goodbye to the small, sweet Pokémon, Lin Feng moved forward.

More and more Bonsweet peeked out from the bushes.

Many were Steenee as well.

They watched Lin Feng curiously.

”Too many… too many…”

Lin Feng sighed softly, filled with wonder.

Bonsweet could live both in groups and alone.

When a Sprigatito evolved into a Queen, it received the blessings of the other Sprigatito.

In turn, it would protect the younger Sprigatito.

Such adorable Sprigatito were rare in the Huadong region.

But here, he could see so many at once!

He couldn’t help but unleash the power of the Eternal Stone.

Then he took out bottle after bottle of energy cubes.

Drawn by the Eternal Stone’s energy,

soon both sides of the trees were filled with Sprigatito.

They eagerly ate the energy cubes Lin Feng distributed and, after hearing his request, led him toward the destination.

Towering trees soon appeared before him, and a few Queens were visible among them.

Each bore a distinct expression.

Confusion, surprise, pride…

And at that moment, Lin Feng sensed the aura of his mother, Steenee…
