Get Stronger by Pleasing Pokémon? Who Needs to Be a Trainer!

November 22.

The final ventilation work on the villa was nearly complete.

Lin Feng settled the remaining payment with Hupa and began selecting furniture for the house.

However, he did not let Hupa leave right away.

”The water tank connections… Lord Hupa, I’ll leave this to you!”

”No problem.”

The water tank had been specially customized.

After Lin Feng explained that the house was finished, a large truck immediately delivered it.

A curved water tank more than ten meters long could not possibly be suspended in midair. It required expansion bolts and a steel framework to secure it.

Only then could it be installed at the top.

Hupa and his brothers got to work right away.

At the same time, Lin Feng was accompanied by Gardevoir, Growlithe, Alolan Ninetales, and Glaceon.

With the new house completed, everyone’s attention naturally shifted to it.

Of course, this did not mean Lin Feng was accompanied by only these few Pokémon.

In fact, many Pokémon had already appeared.

For example, Tsareena was currently in a small room tucked into a winding corner.

She pushed the door open and saw pale green carpeting spread across the floor. Inside the room was a small counter covered with various flower pots. If Tsareena ever wanted to decorate her room in the future, she could grow flowers right here.

Opposite the door stood a floor to ceiling window.

Tsareena carefully pulled the curtains aside.

A stretch of light green grass dotted with a few modest fruit trees immediately caught her eye.

Through the window, she could see a corner of the new plantation.

The window could also be opened.

That meant that in summer, she could come and go freely through it, breathing in the air of nature whenever she wished.

Her bed was placed against the wall.

It was a bunk style bed, designed according to the height she would have after evolving.

Lin Feng believed that if Tsareena chose to evolve again someday, the bed would not need to be replaced.

Tsareena reached out and touched her nest.

It was very soft.

Her eyes slowly grew moist.

Once, she too had a nest like this.

It had been a hollow beneath a large tree in the forest.

It was smaller than this, darker, and could not compare to this place in any way. But it had been lined with soft leaves, and at night, she could sleep beside her mother.

During the day, she would simply hang from the tree, basking in the sunlight, waiting for her mother to bring food.

At night, her mother would take her to look at the stars.

This place was comfortable, and her Trainer was kind.

But her mother was not here.

”Tsaree…”

”Tsareena?”

Only when Lin Feng called from outside did Tsareena quickly wipe away her tears, put on a smile, and step out to his side.

”Hm?”

Lin Feng paused when he saw her come out.

Then he smiled and asked, ”Tsareena, what do you think of your new room? Do you like it?”

”I like it!”

She answered loudly.

Then she clasped her small hands together and said shyly, ”It’s just… it’s just…”

”What is it?”

”It’s so big…”

She was only about 0.8 meters tall, and once inside, the room felt full of wide open space.

”Isn’t bigger better?” Lin Feng walked over and gently touched her cheek. ”If you decide to evolve again in the future, it’ll be just right.”

Tsareena nodded vigorously.

”Hey, little brother, it’s installed!”

The shout from the other side caught Lin Feng’s attention.

Hupa had finished installing the expansion bolts and steel supports in less than ten minutes.

The water tank above had also been secured.

”Oh, that’s great, that’s great!”

Lin Feng walked over and looked at the water tank circling the living room, nodding in satisfaction. ”You all worked really hard.”

Hupa laughed heartily.

”Little Lin, you’re absolutely right. Honestly, we benefited a lot too. After helping you with this job, our Pokémon have become stronger and healthier, and their overall strength has improved a lot.”

Some of them had even evolved.

”I know the energy blocks you make sell for a good price outside.”

”And after completing this order for you, we’ll be able to have a very good year.”

The workers beside him quickly echoed his words.

”That’s right!”

”This job was really interesting.”

Hupa continued, ”So tell me, what other furniture do you need? We’ll give you a set.”

”Well… that wouldn’t be appropriate, would it?” Lin Feng said with a modest smile.

Hupa pretended to change expression and pulled out his phone.

”What’s inappropriate about it? Look. Our manufacturer won’t lose much money.”

After saying that, he handed the phone to Lin Feng.

At that point, Lin Feng could no longer refuse.

His gaze lit up as he looked toward the open space on the first floor.

”The first floor feels too empty. I want a sofa. A long one.”

He ordered a massive C shaped sofa over ten meters long, planning to place it directly beneath the water tank.

That way, in winter, when he sat on the sofa, he could look up and see Milotic and Primarina swimming above.

The sofa was large enough for all the Pokémon to sit together.

On the right side of the sofa, closer to the front, stood a large glass enclosure.

This was Butterfree’s glass house.

In front of it, he placed coffee tables and standard tables.

Lin Feng ordered several modular boards as well, planning to assemble them later.

When the time came, the dining area would be set up here.

As for the garden, Lin Feng planned to turn it into a paradise for Alolan Ninetales and the other Pokémon when spring arrived and flowers bloomed everywhere.

When he mentioned this, he had already proposed paying.

These items were bulky and expensive to produce.

Even though some of the more straightforward workers insisted, ”Once words are spoken, they’re like water poured out. Even if Little Lin wanted more, we’d give it to him!”

They still could not argue with Lin Feng in the end and finally agreed to sell everything to him at cost.

With that mindset, Lin Feng became far more generous during his next round of shopping.

He brought one Pokémon after another to their own unique rooms.

He planned custom large cabinets for the fluffy Pokémon.

A storage cabinet for Gardevoir’s plush dolls.

A special carpet for Serperior.

Electric heaters for Salamence’s and Dragonite’s rooms.

Desks, beds, chairs, and stools for the Hatterene siblings.

A dedicated punching bag and weight training equipment for Blaziken.

He also planned to buy two LCD televisions.

One large and one small. The large one would go in the living room, and the small one in his own bedroom.

That way, Alolan Ninetales could watch television in the living room during the day.

Spending the daytime in the common areas was always livelier, after all.

Naturally, Hupa could not help with this part. All of these items were purchased online by Lin Feng.

After receiving the instructions, Hupa led his team onto the truck and left at once, claiming that some furniture needed to be rushed and would have to be delivered within ten days.
