Get Stronger by Pleasing Pokémon? Who Needs to Be a Trainer!

In the end, Gardevoir did not take any.

She simply looked at him with mild curiosity, as if asking whether he actually cared.

Was there something strange about that?

Seeing her trainer’s surprised expression, she did not insist and instead helped Hattrem clean up the table.

At the same time, Lin Feng walked toward the Pidgeot.

Just then, the last Pidgey that had not yet finished eating evolved in a flash of white light.

It spread its wings and transformed into a Pidgeot.

Lin Feng’s eyes lit up. He nodded in satisfaction. ”Perfect. They have all evolved.”

When the Pidgeot saw him approaching, they immediately cried out happily.

”Pidgeot!”

They had already heard from the smallest, newly evolved Pidgeot that a special meal had been prepared just for them today.

Only when the largest Pidgeot spread its wings did the others finally quiet down.

”Alright, alright. You’ve all worked hard during this time.”

”Come on, everyone gets one.”

Since the Pidgeot were all slightly shorter than him, Lin Feng used psychic power to place an energy cube in front of each of their beaks.

”Pidgeot?”

They looked confused. The special meal seemed very small.

”First of all, after eating, make sure you control your energy.”

Lin Feng gave them a serious reminder.

Unlike snow warnings or clear weather effects, which would not affect the plantation too much in the short term, this weather control focused on wind.

If the airflow became too strong, it would definitely impact the plantation.

”Pidgeot…”

All the Pidgeot nodded and then swallowed the energy cubes in front of them.

The first Pidgeot that had been confused suddenly froze in place.

It stood there like a statue as a strange sensation surged through its body.

It felt an urge to flap its wings and create airflow.

No, more precisely, it felt that even without flapping its wings, it could now generate wind out of thin air.

And the feeling was very vague, as if the slightest movement could stir up a violent gust.

But Lin Feng had just warned them to control their power, so none of them dared to move.

This was not unique to one Pidgeot.

Every Pidgeot that had eaten the energy cube experienced the same sensation.

Even the largest Pidgeot froze in place, afraid to move.

Lin Feng found this strange.

Why had they all stopped moving after eating?

”Pidgeot…”

One of them quickly explained.

”Pidgeot…”

(We cannot control the wind…)

”Is it really that intense?” Lin Feng asked in surprise.

He immediately called Gardevoir over and had her use psychic power to lift one Pidgeot into the sky above the forest.

”Here. Try it here.”

The Pidgeot nodded slightly and then suddenly spread its wings.

As it flapped, a powerful gust swept through the sky.

The trees below rustled loudly as the wind roared past.

The airflow continued to surge, showing no sign of stopping, as if it wanted to sweep everything within a ten-kilometer radius into chaos.

”Stop, stop, stop…”

Lin Feng shouted in alarm.

The Pokémon in the forest might be preparing for winter. It was best not to disturb them.

The moment the Pidgeot stopped flapping its wings, the wind instantly disappeared.

”So fast?”

Lin Feng was stunned.

In fact, even from their last battle, it was clear that Pidgeot’s control over airflow had greatly improved.

From a technical perspective, many Pokémon moves were related to wind.

Gust, Blizzard, Icy Wind, Twister, Leaf Storm, Hurricane, Tailwind.

But those were all designed to target and attack specific enemies.

Once released, they were difficult to control freely.

But just now, the Pidgeot had only flapped its wings.

It had not used a move.

Yet the range of the airflow was still so vast.

And it could retract it instantly.

Was this the power of a ruler of the skies?

Just controlling airflow already carried such overwhelming force.

It was hard to imagine what would happen if it released a full attack.

”Pidgeot?”

The Pidgeot also cried out in surprise.

This was a completely new power that it had never possessed before.

”Can you control it?” Lin Feng asked.

”Pidgeot!”

The Pidgeot nodded.

After the initial test, it felt that it had completely mastered this power.

Excited, it flew higher and higher, like a flowing shadow cutting through the sky.

Its speed was at least twice as fast as before.

At this speed, even Dragonite at the same energy level might not be able to surpass it.

This time, Lin Feng did not stop it.

He simply nodded with satisfaction. ”With this speed… I feel at ease.”

”Gardevoir…”

(This is amazing…)

Even Gardevoir, who had seen many incredible things, could not help but marvel.

So much change from just one energy cube.

”Heh, now they definitely will not get caught while delivering.”

To be honest, even after they evolved into Pidgeot, Lin Feng had still been a little worried.

But now that all of them were fully capable of handling deliveries, he felt truly relieved.

”Gardevoir…”

(So you are only thinking about delivery?)

Lin Feng said excitedly, ”Also, with their control over wind, we can try integrating this ability into the Sky Challenge. We could add a special enhanced version. In strong wind conditions, challengers would either have to dodge Pidgeot’s attacks or hit it directly.”

Gardevoir fell silent, then smiled gently.

She remembered that when she had first been captured, her trainer only wanted her to help repair irrigation channels and pick fruit.

Later, it expanded into all kinds of businesses.

If he did not think this way, he would not really be her trainer.

”Come back after you are done playing!”

Lin Feng shouted as he watched the Pidgeot still soaring in the sky.

Then he and Gardevoir returned to the plantation.

The other Pidgeot were still waiting.

Lin Feng immediately said, ”No deliveries this afternoon. Go find an open area and get familiar with your new abilities.”

”But please do not disturb others too much, and do not damage the ecosystem, alright?”

”Pidgeot!”

All the Pidgeot cheered.

They nodded at Lin Feng and then flew off together.

In an instant, it was as if a hundred birds had been released from their cages.

The sky above the plantation was filled with wings.
