”Ah?”

In an instant, everyone’s eyes widened in shock.

The Sky Challenge was already difficult enough.

Now there was an enhanced version?

The announcement made the twenty-plus challengers forget, for a moment, why Pidgeot could unleash such a sustained gale.

They didn’t even know what move it was using.

”Don’t tell me… the difficulty really increased?”

Someone’s face darkened instantly.

Even though a Pidgeot’s attack speed and evasion are usually calculated based on its stats as a Pidgeotto its so-called ”peak” stage

Lin Feng’s Pidgeot, even before evolving, had already mastered flying-type moves to an extreme degree.

Without special training, defeating them at the same level of strength was basically impossible.

Even fast, gym-level flying Pokémon would struggle to dodge a Pidgeotto’s attacks.

And now, with the added strong wind under Pidgeot’s control, no one could imagine how hard it would be.

Lin Feng explained calmly, ”This version is separate from the regular Sky Challenge. They don’t conflict. Each participant can freely choose which version to attempt.”

”Of course, this version is more difficult, but the rewards are twice that of the normal version.”

The crowd, initially tense, immediately erupted in excited discussion.

”Actually, not bad. The real challenge is testing everyone’s Pokémon. Let’s treat this as a transition between the first and second stages.”

”Exactly, otherwise the second stage would be way too difficult.”

”So far, only two people have cleared the second stage, and they’re both veteran trainers. I can’t even imagine how hard the third stage will be.”

”Lin Feng, show us how to clear the third stage!”

”What third stage? If you want a show, watch the final stage, the ultimate boss.”

As they chatted, everyone’s gaze turned toward the largest Pidgeot in the sky.

This Pidgeot was nearly twice the size of a normal one.

When it descended and landed, it stood a full three meters tall.

”Ah? We get to watch the final stage?”

Lin Feng paused for a moment and then looked at the Pidgeot leader.

Pokémon: Pidgeot

Gender: Male

Ability: Keen Eye

Potential: Golden

IVs: HP 27 / Attack 31 / Special Attack 31 / Defense 24 / Special Defense 24 / Speed 30

Level: 53–56

Moves: Gust, Sky Attack, Quick Attack, Whirlwind, Tailwind…

The Pidgeotto that had once been defeated by a Water Gun from Milotic was long gone.

Now it had become the leader of the entire flock, its power naturally greatly increased.

Lin Feng gestured for it to come down.

”Pidgeot, Pidgeot.”

The Pidgeot stood beside Lin Feng, forcing him to tilt his head to see its face.

It even lowered its head so Lin Feng could pat it.

”Why did it suddenly grow so big?”

Lin Feng was puzzled. All the other Pokémon had eaten similar amounts of food.

The other Pidgeot had also grown slightly, which was normal.

The same went for Talonflame and Dragonite in the ranch.

Though slightly taller than average, it was only by a few dozen centimeters at most.

But this one had doubled in height.

Even Champion Feng Yang’s Moltres wasn’t this large.

”Could it be because he’s the leader of the flock?”

Lin Feng thought.

In the Pokémon world, some flock leaders truly grew to extraordinary sizes.

Like the Arboliva tree Pokémon he had once heard about, which grew as tall as an actual tree.

Lin Feng couldn’t imagine how much oil one of those could produce in a day. He really wanted to bring one back.

Seeing the largest, tallest Pidgeot descend, the people around him couldn’t help but crowd closer.

”So tall…”

”So big…”

They had usually seen Pidgeot on the ground and knew it was large, but this one rarely landed, making close observation almost impossible.

Now, up close, the Pidgeot radiated an intense sense of power.

Some young trainers wanted to reach out and touch it, but the sheer size intimidated them.

”Do you really want to see the final stage?”

Seeing the astonishment in their eyes, Lin Feng asked.

”Yes! Of course we do!”

I bet the final stage will be hard. Only elite-level trainers will have a chance to challenge it.

”Lin Feng, don’t tease us. You’ve got my curiosity peaked. I can’t imagine how high your breeding standards are…”

”I want to see the final target with my own eyes…”

”And then…”

Seeing everyone so excited, Lin Feng nodded. ”Wait a moment. I’ll go back briefly.”

The difficulty of the final Sky Challenge had no upper limit.

According to Lin Feng’s plan, the requirement was to survive under attacks from all the Pidgeot for three minutes.

But that wasn’t all.

After three minutes, participants had to land attacks on Pidgeot.

Defeating all of them meant success.

Of course, defeating each Pidgeot would grant corresponding rewards.

Why no upper limit?

Because Pidgeot continued to grow stronger, the final stage would naturally be a full test of skill.

Honestly, very few Pokémon in the nursery could clear this now.

Especially after Pidgeot gained control over the wind.

But it wasn’t impossible.

”Gardevoir will handle this.”

Lin Feng quickly decided on the Pokémon to use.

Pokémon like Talonflame or Alolan Vulpix would likely be at a disadvantage.

Even Dragonite might not dodge the attacks from twenty-one Pidgeot in a row.

As for Salamence… that was uncertain.

Ultimately, the only Pokémon in the nursery Lin Feng had full confidence in to completely dodge Pidgeot’s attacks was Gardevoir.

When Lin Feng arrived at the nursery, Gardevoir had just finished preparing grilled meat for Mewtwo.

Upon hearing his plan, her eyes carried a knowing glint.
