Cooking Effect 1: After eating, if hit by a super effective move, the consumer will take double damage for 24 hours.

The three kinds of dumplings were laid out in front of Lin Feng, and his expression gradually became strange.

One made the eater forget their abilities.

One made them forget their moves.

And one doubled the damage taken from super effective attacks.

Overall, none of these effects sounded particularly pleasant.

After all, most Pokémon abilities were beneficial to their users.

For example, Serperior’s Overgrow and Contrary.

Overgrow increased the power of Grass type moves, while Contrary was even more extreme, turning stat drops into stat boosts.

However, not all abilities were advantageous.

For instance, the infamous Regigigas.

Its ability was Slow Start.

Lin Feng remembered it clearly.

The game description said that for the first five turns, its Attack and Speed were halved.

Back when he played Pokémon games in his previous life, he often used certain methods to change that ability into Huge Power.

But in reality, Regigigas’s Slow Start did not only represent a mechanical weakness. It also gave it an extremely sluggish nature. Before battle, it needed a long time to properly activate the energy within its body.

”For certain Pokémon, this could actually be a decent dish,” Lin Feng murmured.

Slaking’s Truant ability worked in a similar way.

As for the second type of dumpling, Lin Feng immediately thought of two excellent uses.

Eating it meant that for the next twenty four hours, the consumer would forget performing a specific action.

And since there was no limit to how many times it could be eaten, repeatedly consuming it could cause someone to forget most of their actions.

There was a move called Last Resort.

Its description stated that it could only be used after all other learned moves had been used in battle.

Its power was considerable, nearly comparable to Hyper Beam.

Another thought crossed his mind.

If a Pokémon forgot a move and then relearned it, would it become more proficient?

After twenty four hours, when the forgotten move returned, would it be mastered at a higher level?

Lin Feng nodded in satisfaction.

Honestly speaking, he found the first two dumplings quite useful.

As for the third one, it was not entirely useless either.

One thing should not be forgotten.

These dumplings could be sent into the Reverse World. Once brought back out, their cooking effects would be reversed.

In other words, double damage from super effective attacks would become half damage instead.

If that was the case, super effective weaknesses would practically disappear.

”Not bad. Not bad at all.”

He packed the remaining dumplings into bags, sealed them, and stored them in the lower compartment of the refrigerator.

Lin Feng then began recording the effects of these three dumplings in his recipe log.

After that, ignoring Mewtwo’s slightly helpless expression, he asked Mewtwo to deliver the boiled dumplings to Blaziken and Dragonite.

He himself searched through the system space again and soon found a single tea leaf.

Meowth had not replenished the World Tree tea leaves in a long time, so this was the last one.

”I need to find a chance to let her bring some more back. Come to think of it, she has been gone for quite a while. Where did she go to play with Jirachi?”

Thinking of Meowth, Lin Feng muttered to himself.

Then his focus returned to the final tea leaf.

Just one leaf.

No need to brew it.

He planned to make a tea egg with it.

To embody the idea that focus was the essence of mastery, Lin Feng did not intend to cook many dishes. He only planned to make a single one.

”But the eggs I buy always feel a bit off…”

He looked at the eggs he had taken from the refrigerator.

Lin Feng felt that his chicken farm plan for next year had to be implemented.

By then, he would have Blaziken lead the chicks on daily runs.

Just imagining that scene made him smile.

But after a moment of thought, he put the eggs back.

In the Pokémon world, ordinary eggs were probably among the least nutritious ingredients of their kind.

Since this dish was made specifically for Serperior, he absolutely could not use an ordinary egg.

”I need an egg laid by a stronger Chansey.”

Ever since Aunt Mei had gifted him a Chansey egg last time, Lin Feng had developed the idea of raising a Blissey line.

After all, eggs produced by Pokémon like Chansey carried auspicious symbolism.

For newly born Pokémon, they were also extremely nutritious.

However, Lucky Pokémon like Chansey usually appeared in hospitals, Pokémon Centers, or large scale food processing facilities for centralized breeding.

They were rarely sold directly on the market.

Still, Chansey eggs could be purchased.

Lin Feng called Rotom.

He asked where in Xiang Province Blissey could be found.

”Huh? There’s a Belle Foods Processing Plant in Changsha City?”

Lin Feng’s eyes lit up as he read the information Rotom provided.

Technically, he could buy Chansey eggs online.

But products bought online were usually only average in quality.

High quality eggs from breeders were often reserved for personal use, gifted to others, or required advance reservations.

Uncle Mu’s dairy farm worked the same way.

The premium Moomoo Milk produced by his main Miltank was rarely sold openly.

Since Lin Feng only planned to make one tea egg for Serperior, its quality had to be the best possible.

After hesitating for two or three seconds, he made his decision.

As the weather grew colder, Chansey’s egg laying frequency would decrease, eventually stopping for a while.

If he did not go now, he might have to wait until next spring.

”Rotom. Master, there is a shipment heading to Changsha City right now.”

Rotom, who had been following Lin Feng all along, suddenly seemed to check something and provided key information.

”Well then, what do they want?”

Lin Feng’s eyes brightened.

This delivery came at the perfect time.

It gave him an excellent excuse.

”They seem to want Moomoo Milk. Ten bottles.”

”Heh. That’s a big client.”

Lin Feng’s eyes sparkled.

The price of ten bottles of Moomoo Milk would be close to six figures.

Thinking of this, Lin Feng did not disturb Dragonite or Salamence, who were resting.

Instead, he took the neatly packaged Moomoo Milk prepared by Eldegoss from the nursery, said goodbye to Gardevoir, and headed toward the plantation to find Pidgeot.

”Gardevoir!”

Put on more clothes. It’s cold outside.

Seeing Lin Feng rushing off, Gardevoir chased after him, stopping him and bundling him up so tightly that he looked like a wrapped rice dumpling before finally letting him leave.
