A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1038: Chapter 1030: Immortal Domain World Cluster

Several months have passed.

Occasionally, beneath the Green Truth Mask, the three-colored light eyes would still lose focus for a moment, unable to forget the war machines of that metal city in the void war. Is this the Space-based Annihilation Starship!?

The Void Mothership compared to the Space-based Annihilation Starship is like the Mechanical Bee from Wizard World compared to the Space Fortress, utterly incomparable.

Only True Spirit Wizards and Endless Dominators could deal with such a colossal Metal Terminator combat corps.

I vividly remember several months ago when all the World Masters rushed into the temporal vortex in panic, the Arc Thundercloud had already led numerous World Masters to defeat the Metal Terminator Defense Base. Follow-up legions were continuously pouring through the Gate of Space-Time, with hundreds in every breath.

However, the Wizarding Alliance’s legions across different worlds abruptly stopped, suddenly cut off; the terrified expressions of those low-level creatures that made it through are still clear in Green’s mind.

”Green, Green!”

Youquan called Green twice before he snapped out of his daze and quickly shook his head, apologizing with a smile towards Youquan and the Resentful Ghost beside her.

”Isn’t the continuous battle pressure too much? Your mental state doesn’t seem quite right to me.”

Youquan asked with concern.

Beside Youquan, the Resentful Ghost was shapeless and intangible, seemingly a mutated special creature from some ghost world. A few days ago, at the first meeting, Green was utterly stunned when Senior Sister Youquan introduced this Fifth-Level World Lord as her wizard companion, taking a good while to digest the information.

My senior sister indeed has quite unusual tastes...

However, in terms of strength, this Resentful Ghost that has stepped into the Level 5 Biological Domain is not weak at all, and its relationship with Youquan apparently didn’t just start after a civilization war; their breath is connected, hinting at some special link between this Resentful Ghost and the source of Youquan’s power.

”Alas, the shock of that Space-based Annihilation Starship is truly immense; if the Metal Destroyer civilization has hundreds or thousands of such large combat platforms, this war...”

”It seems the war in the Ancient Dragon World has reached a stalemate, making both sides focus on attacking each other’s support forces. The defenses on the Metal Continent are fully constructed, and for every resource collection base we conquer, we will have to pay an increasingly high price.”

Youquan also understands Green’s concerns.

”If the war really reaches the point you’re describing, Wizard World will unquestionably no longer hold back its heritage. If defeated by this Metal Destroyer civilization, what more can be said of the Demon Hunting Expedition plan? Humph, if those old beings hiding inside the Eternal Sky City were to come out, perhaps the war would already be in another state.”

Over the years, Green has gradually understood how terrifying the Eternal Sky City, the foundation of Wizard World, truly is.

Supported by the endless energy of the water flow cycle of the Sky of Water Curtain powered by the Sea King Altar, with the Heart of the Ancestors as the time barrier, an Artificial Sorcerering World was developed!

Although after the first ancient civilization war, Elemental Wizards gradually became the dominant force in Wizard World, much like the current scenario between the Elemental Wizards and Abyss Refining Body Sorcerers, the Mechanical Wizards still maintained exceptionally strong power. Furthermore, due to overseeing the resources at the rear during the second civilization war, Mechanical Wizards fell in lower numbers, presumably preserving a considerably large amount of power.

In fact...

After the second civilization war, Elemental Wizards proposed the Demon Hunting Expedition plan to save Wizard World, while Mechanical Wizards proposed the Eternal Sky City plan simultaneously, ensuring a last refuge for Wizards if the Demon Hunting Expedition fails to save Wizard World, simulating the environment of Wizard World within Sky City and protecting fragile ordinary humans to naturally reproduce, passing down civilization.

The remaining Ancient Mechanical True Spirit Wizards, either with souls near exhaustion or with incurable severe injuries, entered a state of self-seal within the Eternal Sky City, waiting to be awakened at the critical moment concerning the fate of Wizard World, to unleash their strongest power.

For Level Seven and Level Eight Beings, there’s no difference in the nature of power, and the same applies to True Spirit Wizards.

Upon ascending to True Spirit, spiritual power solidifies at 1024 points, calculated based on active energy use under Balance Rules.

The true difference between Level Seven and Level Eight Beings lies in soul decay versus soul immortality.

Without reaching the status of Level Eight Beings, the massive body of Dominators is constantly consuming their souls, inevitably leading to soul dispersion and death, with frequent battles accelerating this process.

Therefore, during times of peace, some ancient Level 7 Sovereigns with severe soul decay prefer to avoid soul consumption or remain still, directing their will to the clan for business or undergoing complete self-seal hidden among weaker creature groups to delay soul dispersion.

Thus, under normal circumstances, Level Seven Beings would never actively confront Level Eight Beings, which is nothing but chronic suicide.

As one of the three main foundations of Wizard World, True Spirit Wizards attain soul immortality within the Eternal Sky City!

As far as Green knows, after the second civilization war, Wizard World’s Mechanical Wizards also ascended at least two rounds of True Spirit, but they’ve never revealed themselves nor established a Holy Tower System. Green suspects these Mechanical True Spirit Wizards likely entered the Eternal Sky City, completing a top-secret plan for Wizard World.

”I hope it never comes to that.”

Green shook his head, unable to imagine the price Wizard World would pay to defeat a combat group formed by the Space-based Annihilation Starship in the void, without warfare platforms or support from the Slave Sea Legion.

”Unlikely.”

The always silent, mysterious Resentful Ghost suddenly spoke, voice deep and hoarse, piquing Green’s curiosity.

The entity seemed like a teapot, surrounded by black aura, hovering in the air, with concealed poisonous energy able to shape its space internally, a strange and peculiar life.

”If this Metal Destroyers’ World truly possesses hundreds or thousands of Space-based Annihilation Starships, it would probably influence the Universal Cycle of Reincarnation, drawing the attention of the Heavenly Dao.”

”Heavenly Dao!?”

Green had never encountered this concept before, gazing at the Resentful Ghost in confusion.

”The Dao follows no action, but the Dao gives birth to one, one gives birth to two, two gives birth to three, and three gives birth to the limitless wonders of the universe. I am the Artifact Spirit of Million Sinful Spirits Pot of the Nine Nether Ming God from the Immortal Domain World Cluster, initially hidden within the Nine Nether Ming God Qiankun Bag, unbeknownst to the changes with the Nine Nether Immortal Venerables causing the Qiankun Bag to rupture, I was swept into this world cluster by the temporal rift, and over several millennia, regained some divine ability realms.”

Resentful Ghost recited words leaving Green dumbstruck, evidently originating from another far civilizational world cluster, and appears quite significant.

Could it be possible that Senior Sister Youquan managed to accomplish her Special Class Honor Badge tasks due to its involvement?

After a pause, Resentful Ghost continued: ”Cultivators focus on cultivating mind and nature, understanding creation, seeking the cosmic mechanism, grasping heavenly principles, swallowing universal energies, cutting mortal causative roots, seeking transcendence to become immortals and achieve detachment. As for Heavenly Dao, it might be akin to your sorcerer civilization’s truth and destiny, pursuing transcendence. Engaging the limits of Heavenly Dao Universal Cycle would result in Heavenly Dao counteraction, extinguishing the subtle chance embedded within the forty-nine paths of Evolution, leaving no chance of survival.”

Youquan seemed quite familiar with her companion, revealing no surprise from the only visible eye beneath the white strips.

Could this be a journey of exploring the truth mystery from another civilization?

”Uh, this...”

”Just call me Resentful Ghost.”

Green, somewhat awkward, said: ”Okay, Resentful Ghost, may I ask how the Immortal Domain World Group compares with the current Wizarding Alliance? And how does it fare against the Abyssal World? Will you return?”

”Although I’ve resided in this world cluster for several millennia, everything here still seems unfamiliar. However, those Xiahe civilization remnants greatly interest me. Regarding the sorcerer civilization, I’ve learned some from Youquan. If Wizard World could unify this world cluster and develop for several eras, it might parallel the Immortal Domain World Cluster of my impression thousands of years ago. As for me...”

Resentful Ghost helplessly shook its head, saying: ”It might be too distant; even with the divine thoughts of Nine Nether Immortal Venerables, I can’t sense even a trace...”

Green’s heart spontaneously honored and feared the Endless World infinitely.

No wonder, the more advanced the Wizards, the more they yearn for wisdom, all because they are too insignificant, limitless worlds prevail, with civilization rising and falling, merely a moment in history’s ripple.
