A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1029: Chapter 1021: Void Behemoth

Seven months later.

Finally, Green’s Stigmata Group of 22nd District decided to take the route through the void path via void storm to reach the Ancient Dragon Great World.

Twenty space fortresses guarded by seven Stigmata Sorcerers.

Although there are a large number of slave monsters, mechanical puppets, and the Wizard Legion on top, the strength they can exert in the Endless Void is almost negligible. This is the battlefield of World Masters and even Dominators.

Over the years, Green has developed some clear and intuitive understanding of the seven-person Stigmata Group of District Twenty-Two he is in.

First is the Wandering Dandelion Stigmata Grand Sorcerer. To date, Green has not seen this auxiliary route Stigmata Sorcerer directly take action. Even in the Starry Sky World, confronting the powerful Ether Emperor’s avatar, they only fully assisted the Flame Stigmata and Arc Thundercloud, restoring magic power, amplifying attacks, reflecting attack deflection, augmenting magic, and healing sorcerers, all just their basic capabilities.

According to the secret observation sensed by Green’s Truth Mask, this Stigmata Sorcerer is probably not the true body!

The Flame Holy Grail and Arc Thundercloud Stigmata Sorcerers are the main forces in the team, with strong elemental attack capabilities, but Flame Holy Grail tends to be steady and solid, while Arc Thundercloud is more explosive.

Old Sorcerer Welid, this is a Stigmata Sorcerer with extensive connections in the Wizard World. Apart from having connections with Stigmata Sorcerers from various regions, they also interact with True Spirit Wizards frequently. This makes Green wonder, perhaps this Level Five Stigmata Sorcerer likely has a mentor-student or blood relation with a True Spirit Wizard!

The Hoarse Song Stigmata Sorcerer, apart from mastering sonic abilities and mysticism knowledge, that pacifier-fat cat is feared to have certain special abilities akin to Xiao Ba, making them the most mysterious person in the group according to Green.

The Rainbow Potion Stigmata Sorcerer, matched remarkably with their true form image of Big Mouse, this Stigmata Sorcerer adept at communicating across foreign domain time-spaces is feared to be the wealthiest among everyone and the team’s final trump card strength. Otherwise, during the final preparations for the Civilization War, everyone wouldn’t risk conquering the Starry Sky World to collect Astrology Blood Essence for Rainbow Potion, insisting Green must cooperate.

Lastly, there is Green.

The Three-Colored Light Eyes flickered, Green stood at the edge of the Space Fortress Defense Shield and took out the Crystal Ball, containing information from Arc Thundercloud.

”The stormy area ahead is six months away from reaching the void chaos zone; each combat command should be cautious and strictly guard against void creature attacks.”

Arc Thundercloud instructed briefly and, as the task team leader, charged into the void turbulence storm first, followed closely by space fortresses without guardians diving into it as well.

Void creatures are rule creatures born to maintain the balance of the Endless World.

Void creatures have no concept of aging, illness, or death, nor any notion of social gatherings, only mutual devouring from the first day of being born as a Void Worm until they evolve into a world, replacing the dying, fragmented worlds, maintaining the balance of the Endless World.

Due to void creatures having no concept of social gathering, everyone ultimately chose this material transport route, the stronger the void creature the larger the volume, and essentially no concept of ambush.

”Damn, if you ask Master Eight, it would be better to take the World Fragment passage. At least the Slave Legion and Wizard Legion can play a role, those Robot Legions dare to ambush, we’ll fight them, and it also hones us! Taking this route, hum, it’s fine if we encounter ordinary void creatures, but what if we meet those creatures larger than world size...”

Several tens-meter or dozens-meter void worms were devouring void force in this rich void turbulence and growing occasionally; some intelligent void creatures, upon discovering these uninvited guests from the material world, also withdrew, twenty space fortresses forming a formation, advancing slowly.

Days later, Xiao Ba’s cursed mouth proved right!

”Look, look! Damn, did I say anything wrong?!”

In the void turbulence, twenty ten-thousand-meter-diameter space fortresses seemed so insignificant in the face of this colossal void creature, the size almost unfathomable resembling a continent, devouring on a massive scale the void worms and weaker void creatures unable to escape within its volumetric range.

Imagine!

Facing a terrifying creature with a volume equivalent to a continent, the void creatures fleeing en route, only a few thousand meters in size, with what speed could they escape? The depth of despair it would bring!

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Seven Stigmata Sorcerers flew out simultaneously, all activating their true bodies, their size swelling to over a hundred meters, elemental force roiling vigorously, supported by sufficient Source of Magic Power, constantly dissipating mutually with the void force, gazing up at this fearsome rule creature hovering like a floating void continent.

”So big...”

Green at closer proximity, looking up and observing this void behemoth directly under the Truth Mask, couldn’t help but ”gulp” quietly swallow his saliva.

If in the material world, lower creatures traversing from head to tail of this void behemoth would take probably several dozen days of flight.

”Is it your first time seeing a Void World Master? Don’t worry, these guys have enough wisdom to communicate will with us. Despite its daunting size, it’s only equivalent to a Level Four to Level Five creature, posing not much threat to us. Generally speaking, we could...”

The Rainbow Potion Stigmata Sorcerer confidently said, in the distance, the Arc Thundercloud Stigma Sorcerer who was moving forward intending to communicate with the enormous void creature suddenly roared angrily: ”Do you dare ignore us!”

Immediately, the seven present paled in unison.

This enormous void creature though poses little threat to them, but they can’t pose a threat to it in a short time either, which is the relationship between material creatures and void creatures.

However, for the task resources...

”Get out of the way!”

This terrifying void creature, as vast as a continent, roared with will, disregarding the Wizard Legion ahead, rampaging through. Relatively to the void creature’s incomparable massive size, be it the Stigmata Sorcerers with activated Elemental Embodiments or the space fortresses, they’re just hills and thickets next to a mountain, insignificant.

”Courting death!”

In an instant, the seven Stigmata Sorcerers charged against the violent void turbulence, continually obliterating several hundred to several thousand meters of the void body. While it was a devastating blow to ordinary creatures, to this void behemoth, it was a negligible trauma, still charging recklessly, indeed unusual.

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom...

The Space Fortress Destruction Cannon fired from twenty space fortresses; when ejected from the top it was only several meters but upon traversing the void to strike the void behemoth, it’s already over two hundred meters in diameter, the vast and majestic power mutually offsetting with the void force, the destructive light columns sweeping interwoven, continuing unceasingly for over ten seconds of sustained attack, even the incredibly enormous void behemoth couldn’t help but howl painfully and halted.

”Finally some effect; I thought it would completely ignore our attack.”

As Green spoke, the destruction light columns from the Space Fortress gradually subsided, but the void creature’s frightened roaring will not only didn’t stop but intensified.

The group exchanged glances, puzzled, still blocking in front of the void creature buying space fortress time to steer away.

Boom!

A vague oppression, akin to a threat emanating from a distance approaching, several insignificant figures with activated Elemental Embodiments sensing this shift in front of the void behemoth.

”Stronger void turbulence?”

Boom...

With a surge of several-fold-concentrated void turbulence erupting from behind this void behemoth, the intensity even caused several Stigmata Sorcerers to stumble unsteadily, conversely, the colossal void creature opposing them continually retreated amidst willful roars?

”What’s happened to it?”

Protected by many Infernal Soul Bird Heads, Green covered the surface with the extreme abyss magic staff, questioning the Rainbow Potion Stigmata Sorcerer also knocked unsteady by the void turbulence.

”I don’t know either, wouldn’t it be...”

A few hourglasses later.

Already traversing a far distance in the void, the Stigmata Sorcerers sensing an unbelievably larger-than-small-world-sized void creature, devouring the previously mentioned void creature only one-third to a quarter of its size, silently overwhelmed.

The mutual devouring of void creatures persists for hundreds, thousands of years, and that tumultuous void turbulence short term might be impossible to proceed further; even True Spirit Wizards might not wish to bother these gigantic void creatures.
