A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1010: Chapter 1002: Balance Seal Technique

Rumble!

Over two hundred years have passed in the Parasitic Spore World since the birth of the Infernal Soul Myriad-Heads Bird, and the Plantman Resistance Army has been largely eradicated.

In the Void Mothership, Green, Lulianmian, and Sachi chatted casually as a host of Raindrops Flower Spirits brought the delicacies prepared by Lab. With a tremor in the void, they successfully passed through the Gate of Space-Time, and the Void Mothership arrived at the Spirit People World.

”So, you’re saying that the two World Guardians attempted to send the Plantman army’s surviving forces to another world for refuge, hoping for a future counterattack?”

Green, treating the passage through the Gate of Space-Time as routine, did not mind the trembling of the Void Mothership, and not a drop of coffee spilled from his hand as he asked in a deep voice.

”Yes, but since the rulers of the Glacier World are no longer the Glacier Summoners, the plan did not succeed.”

Lulianmian, somewhat disheveled, used Elemental Force to dry her Wizard Robe before placing the cup of coffee on the table, which was then taken away by the Raindrops Flower Spirits.

”Haha, it seems that the Parasitic Spore World, apart from its natural rules, even has some cultural rules similar to those of the Wizard World.”

Green lamented.

”Because the Sorcerer’s Tower conducts Magic Power to Stigmata Sorcerers via the Wizard’s Will, it cannot leave the Wizard World. Hence, ordinary humans, who can only proliferate in the sheltered greenhouses of the Sorcerer’s Tower, cannot conduct Foreign Domain colonization. Similarly, the fern plant people of the Parasitic Spore World, despite conquering many worlds and plundering them, have ultimately not completed any migratory invasions.”

Green silently added in his heart, ”In comparison, the Abyss Civilization is terrifying...”

Night Shadow Sachi gazed at the Spirit People World through the window of the Void Mothership.

”Master, the Spirit People World has already developed a number of sizable cities where Arcane Wizards often make appearances. Should we tour around while we’re here?”

Green also gazed out the window at the Spirit People World, which was much more barren than the Parasitic Spore World, and shook his head.

”With Chaotic Power fading, aside from Spiritual Technology, there is another very important resource in this world that I must personally mine. You two are tasked with bringing the Void Mothership back to the Secret Realms. I intend to stay in this world for a while.”

”Yes.”

”Yes.”

Both responded, and at a gesture from Green, the three picked up their knives and forks and began enjoying the wizard delicacies on the table, a dazzling array of exotic ingredients.

After a long while.

Having finished his meal, Green stood up, waved to the two loyal wizards who were seeing him off, and didn’t forget his final instructions.

”Sachi, do your best to fight hard in these coming years. I’m sorry I couldn’t give you the opportunity to earn a First-Level Honor Medal.”

Sachi, looking shocked yet touched, merely nodded silently, a deep voice saying, ”Master has already given me much help.”

Beneath Green Truth Mask’s three-colored light eyes, he looked at Lulianmian.

”I hope you can gain something from the deep blue heavy water rules to achieve Transmutation Energy sooner and reach the pinnacle of the Third-Level Great Sorcerer.”

Before leaving the Parasitic Spore World, Green had protected Lulianmian as she ventured into the deepest space of Waterflame Mountain, from which Lulianmian had gained a lot.

”Okay...”

Lulianmian pursed her lips and nodded heavily, clearly not completely confident in achieving Transmutation Energy for the Third-Level Great Sorcerer, even though Green had taken her to explore the deep blue heavy water origin rules.

”Then... goodbye!”

Walking through True Time, Green performed an Elemental Teleport and disappeared, flying toward the Eastern Zhou Grand Canyon.

......

Ten days later.

”Humph, I thought you wouldn’t come! Hmm? Your aura is much stronger, are you about to advance?”

Xivilnis looked up at Green, who had broken through the hidden restriction, greeted him with a nod. It was obvious these years, he had gained much from this Balance Seal Technique, and his mood was excellent.

”Level Five Stigmata!”

Though he had long known, due to innate talent, this Overmagic Hand Stigmata Sorcerer would soon complete his Transmutation Energy structure adjustment and advance to Level Five, yet when Green arrived here full of confidence, seeing the other had successfully advanced to Level Five, he couldn’t help but feel a significant gap, indescribable.

”Congratulations on advancing to Level Five Stigmata. How did the rewards from this Balance Seal Technique turn out?”

Green landed beside Xivilnis, feigning indifference, asking casually.

”Very good. This small Centaur Wilderness World could fetch me such a profound secret. This time, I have indeed profited, haha.”

Xivilnis said, pointing to the edge of the seal.

”Do you see? As the World Master of the Dinosaur World who suffered Destiny Retribution dies, this seal has begun to gradually collapse. It will probably be entirely erased by the Balance Rules in a thousand years, so you must hurry.”

Beneath the Green Truth Mask, Green’s three-colored light eyes gazed silently for a moment, seeming to come to the same conclusion before nodding, yet without showing any concern.

With the assistance of the Face of Truth and the experiences gained through the World’s Veil rules, the speed at which Green deciphered the Balance Seal technique’s pattern definitely couldn’t be compared to this Xivilnis who relied solely on observing through True Time.

With a deep laugh, Green began his research into the secrets of the Balance Seal Technique.

...

Without realizing it, a hundred and fifty years passed by.

The two Stigmata Sorcerers supported each other yet were also rivals. Unknowingly, they had established some friendship, and there was a growing mutual understanding and respect for each other.

Xivilnis had been obscure before achieving the Transmutation Energy of a Third-Level Great Sorcerer, always just an average existence among contemporaneous, same-tier wizards. Yet, after finishing the Transmutation Energy, under the Stigmata of the Wizard World, he became invincible, feared by all, even overshadowing the proud Youquan of Green and Peranos. He was a legendary figure!

Green, with his extraordinary wisdom, fortune, and experience, rapidly progressed, often surpassing his era’s wizard speed. Many contemporaneous wizards hadn’t even realized his genius, and he had already transcended their level, like a meteor crossing the night sky—its fantastic glow fleeting, yet full of reminiscence.

”Oblivion Tower, elder sister has already given you adequate compensation earlier. If you dare make excuses, humph humph.”

In the crystal ball, the Stigmata Sorcerer of Soul-devouring Kiss smiled flirtatiously, threatening.

”Five years, five years later I will come over. I am currently at the crucial point of an experiment.”

Green extended his palm, speaking earnestly.

Soul-devouring Kiss was not the first Stigmata Sorcerer to invite Green, but this time Green had no choice but to delay tactfully.

”Alright, elder sister will wait for you for five years then!”

With that, the Stigmata Sorcerer of Soul-devouring Kiss ended the crystal ball connection, and Green shook his head and sighed.

Xivilnis glanced at Green.

”These years, wars in the Wizard World have been too frequent. It seems the crucial moment has arrived, the final preparations before the war of civilizations. We can’t hide for much longer.”

Xivilnis rubbed his forehead. Compared to the high-intensity experiments conducted in competition with Green over the years, both were very fatigued yet couldn’t afford to rest.

”This mask, is it called the Face of Truth?”

”Yes.”

Green nodded, seizing every moment to finish his last explorations into the Balance Seal Technique.

Xivilnis sighed, ”Sure enough, extraordinary.”

Only a hundred and fifty years of experimental research, compared to Green who had already entered the later stages of research, Xivilnis still hadn’t researched everything - this was the power of the Face of Truth!
