A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1012: Chapter 1004: Desert Sand Scorpion

Desert Scorpion World.

The second blood moon hangs high in the sky, until three years later, when the ominous aura triggered by the Wizard’s Will spreads to every corner of the world, the Space Fortress fully descends.

Whish, whish, whish, whish, whish...

The guardian sorcerers responsible for stationing in this world flew over, passing through the crowded passage opened by Demon-Hunting Sorcerers and Slave Monsters in the fortress, and several sorcerers filled with the aura of desert yellow sand arrived at the Hall of Stigmata, saluting the two noble Stigma Sorcerers on high seats.

Green’s Three-Colored Light Eyes under the Truth Mask glanced at several guardian sorcerers, all Third-Level Great Sorcerers, tinged with rather rich local aura.

Several people seemed to feel considerable pressure, holding their breath, with some stiffness in their bodies.

The elemental rules of worlds differ, and hence the evolutionary systems of internal biological races have significant differences. Often, as guardian sorcerers become localized over time, they will more or less incorporate elements of witchcraft systems from foreign cultures into their own sorcerer knowledge, and when these sorcerers return to the Wizard World, they unconsciously contribute to the Wizard World’s diverse witchcraft systems.

”Where is the World Master of this world?”

Soul-devouring Kiss asked.

”Report to the great Stigma Sorcerer, the Desert Scorpion World is one of the earliest independent worlds to join the Wizarding Alliance voluntarily, hence it has long adapted to the aura of Wizard World rules. The creatures of this world will not change due to the descent of the Space Fortress.”

Sandcloth Guard Sorcerer replied respectfully.

”Furthermore, beyond this Desert Scorpion World, several closely linked worlds nearby all adhere to desert rules. It’s said that the most powerful Desert Empire Eagle World maintains unusual friendships with some great True Spirit Wizards in Wizard World, hence these desert worlds hold very high status in the Wizarding Alliance, and we stationed sorcerers dare not interfere much.”

Uh...

Green looked at Soul-devouring Kiss, this Sixth-level Stigmata Great Sorcerer apparently hadn’t collected much information on the Desert Scorpion World, remaining somewhat silent.

”Alright, I understand, since that’s the case we’ll go invite them personally.”

...

The Space Fortress stands in the sky, the three-hundred-meter-long Infernal Soul Myriad-Headed Bird carried Green, Xiao Ba, Soul-devouring Kiss, and several stationed sorcerers far away, the aura of Source of Darkness clashing with this world’s desert rules, casting a huge terrifying shadow that quickly slid across the ground, flickering away in an instant.

In the sky, the aura of powerful foreign life left an endless desert tranquil yet oppressive.

”What is that?”

Flying through the sky, Green pointed at a hundred-meter-high Yellow Sand Pyramid on the ground and asked.

Within the black-and-white structure of the Truth Mystery of the Truth Mask’s electric sense, numerous desert scorpions shiver and hide in the sand due to the presence of Green’s group. As for the pyramid’s interior, the Truth Mask couldn’t fully perceive it, remaining a blur.

”This is a unique Yellow Sand Mausoleum among several desert rule worlds nearby. Some powerful desert creatures drive their slaves to incessantly construct these mausoleums aligning with astrological rules, sealing their last breath before death. They serve as different guardians of these desert worlds, possessing incredible power and are very strong.”

Quite a unique culture, Green nodded.

Until the Infernal Soul Myriad-Heads Bird flew far away, it was then that numerous sand scorpions ranging from tens of centimeters to several meters emerged once again from the seemingly calm desert, pairs of compound eyes gazing at the distant sky where the unsettling darkness faded.

...

”Welcome, noble guests from the Wizard World, make yourselves at home!”

It was a formidable sand scorpion, five meters long, covered in a hard black and red keratin layer, exuding an undeniable aura above individual life, that of a Fourth-Level World Lord. The golden table was adorned with an abundance of sweet desert fruits, enticingly delicious, with sweet spring water bubbling from the ground.

And behind King Mo’the Desert Sand Scorpion, a grand-sized pyramid mausoleum was being built by tens of millions of small sand scorpion slaves.

”Scorpion King, are you interested in conquering the Mountain World with me? With your addition and these powerful sand scorpion legions, our expedition is sure to be even more formidable.”

Soul-devouring Kiss sat on a peculiar lotus-root-like fruit, inviting the Scorpion King.

”I’m truly sorry, as the great Stigma Sorcerer has seen, my Yellow Sand Mausoleum is being constructed, and I must constantly supervise these lazy creatures to ensure they give one hundred and twenty percent effort. Only then can there be a place to contain my soul when I feel the weariness of life as death approaches.”

Speaking, the giant scorpion mobilized the yellow sand, inducing rules, and then a Destiny Contract appeared.

”As you can see, the contract stipulates that only when the Alliance formally launches a war of civilization can my desert world be unconditionally mobilized by True Spirit Wizards. As of now, the Alliance has not officially announced the commencement of the civilization war.”

Green keenly noticed that within the power formed by yellow sand and astrology rules in this desert world, there was a faint blend of Mysterious Power.

”Heh heh...”

Soul-devouring Kiss chuckled, and a red kiss mark materialized mid-air, followed by a Heart of the Mountain appearing and landing on one of the Scorpion King’s giant claws.

”After conquering the Mountain World, if the largest Heart of the Mountain from that world were placed on top of your Yellow Sand Mausoleum, I think this would be an unprecedented honor, don’t you think, Scorpion King?”

In the instant this humble Heart of the Mountain landed on the giant claw of the Desert Scorpion King, its numerous compound eyes could not look away from the radiant gem, as though it was the most beautiful thing in the world, gleaming with incredible brilliance under the sunlight!

”Heh heh heh, a crystal that amplifies Mysterious Power, this guy’s hooked.”

Xiao Ba chuckled mischievously beside Green’s ear.

”Dazzling and captivating, actually able to attract Starlight, this is a tear of the Milky Way fallen from the stars into the mortal realm. If a grand Heart of the Mountain could be placed atop the mausoleum, it would indeed be an honor no Scorpion King has ever had!”

The Desert Scorpion King appeared to envision the scene of the Shining Heart of the Mountain constructed on top of his pyramid mausoleum, excited beyond control.

”Fine, give me one month’s time to assemble the legion, my sand scorpion army will flatten the Mountain World!”

...

One month later.

The sand scorpions from the entire world were flowing towards the Space Fortress that had been stationed in this world for an indeterminate number of years. Their numbers were so vast, seemingly endless like a tide, that the Space Fortress could not entirely transport them.

”It’s reached the limit, let’s move out.”

Green, sharing the Space Fortress with the Desert Scorpion King, issued the order to the stationed sorcerers in the Combat Command to commence the expedition.

Rumble, rumble, rumble, two Space Fortresses gradually broke through the high-altitude Chaos Layer, World’s Veil, entering the Void World, sailing through the Void Turbulence towards the Mountain World.
