Daily Intelligence System: Don't Kill Me, Honey!

Chapter 1674: Chapter 387: Chen Jiusi’s Plan to Rescue Liu Futong

The blade sliced through the air, producing a series of whistling sounds. The armor gleamed with a cold light in the sunshine, the Cow Horn blew a full howl, the banners displayed the morale of both armies.

A fierce confrontation was unfolding in the field, the flames of war burning this soil, a strong smell of oil permeating the entire place, accompanied by the stench of corpses burned by oil.

Every inch of land was soaked in the blood of the court army and Zoroastrian Sect members, every stone witnessed the brutal story of this battle.

The slaughter in the field intensified, one side was the court army, annihilating the rebels to protect their vested interests.

The other side was the rebel army, resisting the court for their grand ambition, to expel the barbarians and restore Huaxia.

Both sides collided like two large meat grinders.

The Elephant Soldiers and the strong men of the Giant Wood Flag charged at each other, competing in brute force and courage.

The soldiers of the Sharp Gold Flag hid within the pass, unleashing countless arrows, competing with the exquisite archery of the White Deer Army.

The Twelve Elders Hall of the Zoroastrian Sect led thirty thousand cult members to clash with the Grey Wolf Army’s blades, competing in courage and valor.

The slaughter was the revelry tune in the field, the flying blood was the choreography of this revelry.

The soldiers on both sides now wielded shining blades, hacking at unfamiliar strangers before them.

The heavy leather armor could not block the enemy’s blades, the mud beneath caused staggering steps, the piercing shouts and killing noise made the outside world’s noise inaudible, with only one thought, that is to kill!

Kill!

The armies fought, at this time, Mr. Guan tightly gripped the folding fan in his hand on top of the pass, his face no longer calm as before. The court’s army was too strong, Treasure, White Deer, Grey Wolf, truly the Empire’s three strongest armies. When they truly charged, it was terrifying beyond belief, making breathing tense, this was the real opponent.

On the other hand, within the court army, Tuotuo stood at the rear, watching his army’s losses, he had to admit, the Zoroastrian Sect was indeed a tough nut to crack, the rolling flames of the Fiery Fire Flag, the flesh-eroding toxic water of the Flood Flag.

The powerful impact force of the Giant Wood Flag, the godly shooting power of the Sharp Gold Flag’s Hundred-step Piercing, were not so easily overcome. The battle had begun less than an hour, and thousands from their side were already dead or injured.

At this rate, breaking through here might result in countless more deaths and injuries.

Thinking this, Tuotuo had a hint of determination in his eyes, waved his hand to have the backup troops support and advance.

Seeing Tuotuo deploy the reserve troops, Mr. Guan’s expression also turned serious. He waved his hand for Elder Wu Ma and Elder Wei Yang from the Twelve Elders, who were still in their positions, to lead the elite reserve troops and prepare to advance.

This elite troop was left by Mr. Guan from the beginning, composed of the most elite members of the Twelve Elders Hall, including fifteen hundred from Chou Niu Department, one thousand from Chen Long Department, two thousand from Wu Ma’s own troop, and fifteen hundred from Wei Yang.

These reserve troops were waiting for the moment Tuotuo deployed a trump card to send them in, and at this time Mr. Guan waved his hand, Elder Wu Ma led Elder Wei Yang to charge out.

”Kill!”

The shouts of both sides were thunderous, biting teeth and charging forward, the victory belongs to the brave when the two armies meet!

Everyone knew this when the charging Cow Horn sounded, there was no way to escape, the supervision team also stood at the back, holding tiger-head broadswords. Any warrior daring to flee would be the first to be killed by them.

The soldiers had no retreat, only frontal assault. When the two armies met, spears were like forests, flashing blades and swords, warriors’ shouts, screams rose and fell, blood and flesh flew, severed limbs scattered everywhere, the scene was extremely bloody and fierce.

The archers at a distance fired together, the arrows pierced the leather armor and stuck in the bones, soldiers cried out in agony.

Watching from the cliff entrance, the crowd felt chills all over, this was the battlefield, this was the meat grinder.

In such a scene, it seemed life was the least valuable.

Chen Jie thought of this and couldn’t help but sigh, glancing around, this place wasn’t suitable for leaving the Ruins, after all, below was the battlefield.

But just then, Chen Jie suddenly noticed Chou Niu stopped moving, staring straight at the battlefield. In the center, a group of soldiers was desperately fighting. Chen Jie froze and looked over, seeing among the fighters some strong men in green clothes.

These strong men had the word ”Niu” written on them. Chen Jie instantly understood that the fiercely fighting group in the center was none other than Chou Niu Hall’s members.

Watching his old subordinates fighting below, Chou Niu’s eyes widened. Seeing a disciple from Chou Niu Hall being run through by an enemy’s long blade, he angrily cursed: ”These beasts!”

As the battle grew fiercer, Chou Niu’s eyes couldn’t move away. Suddenly, he froze.

”These beasts, how can they let Xiao Niu enter the battlefield?”

The crowd followed Chou Niu’s gaze and saw a very weak-looking fifteen or sixteen-year-old boy holding a large knife taller than himself entering the battlefield. Appearing clumsy, everyone frowned.

This was reckless, how could they let such a young child onto the battlefield?

This was indeed reckless, and this child’s background was not ordinary. He was the child of a friend with a life-and-death bond with Chou Niu. Before dying, the friend entrusted Xiao Niu to Chou Niu, begging him to take good care of Xiao Niu, yet today he ended up on the battlefield.
