Chapter 864: Chapter 227: The Death of Yelu_3

Thus everyone shouted together, eradicate the Fishing Guild.

Yelu heard these words, and was very satisfied with everyone’s attitude; this was the result he wanted.

At this point, Yelu waved his hand and said, ”Everyone, alright everyone.”

”The Fishing Guild is an evil power in our Mianshui, entrenched for many years, bullying men and women, committing all manner of evils, and causing long suffering for the Mianshui people.”

”Previously, the Gang Leader was Chen Jiusi, who was also the staff of the Commandery Princess. I considered the Commandery Princess’s status, so I did not take much action, but now the Fishing Guild’s behavior has become increasingly tyrannical, already a scourge upon Mianshui!”

”For the sake of the people, I can no longer care about the Commandery Princess’s face today. I am determined to eradicate this tumor that is the Fishing Guild. I wonder if anyone here is willing to help me?”

Upon hearing these words, everyone in the venue clasped their fists together and said, ”Willing to lend the Gang Leader a helping hand!”

Yelu replied to this, ”Alright, since that’s the case, let’s make an agreement here today to jointly annihilate the Fishing Guild. If anyone backs down even a step, don’t blame me for not showing mercy!”

”Yes, we respectfully follow Lord Yelu’s command!”

After everyone clasped their fists, Yelu said, ”Alright, with that, the alliance is formed. Let’s play music and dance!”

”Moreover, I have caught a Dragon Pattern River Puffer Fish today; you all have the fortune of enjoying a feast!”

Upon hearing these words, everyone was stunned, thinking that the Dragon Pattern River Puffer Fish is known to be highly toxic.

As they were musing, the choir and dance troupe arrived, with dancers in cool attire stepping into the center of the venue to begin their performance, while dishes were gradually served.

When the dance of the dancers ended, the guards from Yelu Mansion brought in a large table covered with a layer of ice.

At this moment, Wu the Swift Blade was invited in, followed by his young apprentice carrying a water bucket.

Right across them were Yelu and other guests drinking.

Yelu then pointed at Wu the Swift Blade and said, ”This is the renowned Master Wu the Swift Blade. Few people in Huangzhou Prefecture can prepare Dragon Pattern River Puffer Fish, and Master Wu is definitely the top choice.”

Upon hearing this, Wu the Swift Blade hurriedly said, ”Thank you for the praise, my lord, I am not as great as you say.”

Everyone else also echoed, laughing, ”Master Wu the Swift Blade is too modest, too modest...”

While this was ongoing, Yelu asked Master Wu the Swift Blade to begin.

Just as Master Wu the Swift Blade was about to start, Ahetai approached and said to Master Wu the Swift Blade, ”Master Wu, before preparing the fish, please bring out the antidote first.”

Hearing this, Wu the Swift Blade was taken aback and immediately said, ”Alright, bring five large bowls to fill with clean water.”

Taking those words, Ahetai immediately arranged for five large clean water bowls to be brought over. Wu the Swift Blade then took out a small bottle and dripped a drop of potion into each bowl.

Drip...

The potion dissolved in the bowls, and was placed aside.

Ahetai stepped back and said, ”Please proceed, Master Wu.”

Wu the Swift Blade directed his apprentice to bring the Dragon Pattern River Puffer Fish. Master Wu didn’t rush to start, but stared at the puffer fish in the bucket. After observing for a moment, he suddenly, incredibly swiftly, reached into the bucket and grabbed the puffer fish.

Following up with a quick motion, he pulled out a thin long kitchen knife from the table.

With a gentle slice, the puffer fish’s belly, which was about to swell, instantly opened, releasing the internal organs.

Wu the Swift Blade managed to separate them without damaging the internal organs.

Then, with quick hands, he peeled the skin and sliced the meat from the puffer fish.

The entire process flowed smoothly, and with Wu’s skillful actions, the poisonous parts of the puffer fish were soon excised.

Finally, Wu the Swift Blade sheathed his knife, and two plates of puffer fish meat thin as a cicada’s wing appeared on the table in front of him.

At this point, looking at the Dragon Pattern River Puffer Fish’s head, its mouth was still opening and closing.

It wasn’t completely dead.

”Bravo!”

Yelu couldn’t help but exclaim ”Bravo,” and those below followed suit, praising. Watching Wu the Swift Blade make sashimi was truly an enjoyable experience.

Wu the Swift Blade said, ”The sashimi is ready; please taste, Lord Yelu.”

Yelu swallowed his saliva, signaling to Ahetai with his eyes.

Ahetai immediately said, ”Master Wu, no rush, no rush, let me try first.”

As he spoke, Ahetai asked, ”Master Wu, is the antidote effective?”

”Surely effective.”

”Then you won’t mind if I test it first, will you?”

Ahetai looked at Wu the Swift Blade and asked. Wu the Swift Blade replied, ”How will you test it?”

Ahetai chuckled without a word, clapping his hands, and several Han slaves stepped forward. These slaves were chained and were the lowest class slaves of Yelu Mansion.

They were fed like pigs and dogs.

At this point, a group of people was dragged over, and Ahetai grabbed a Han slave and said, ”Master Wu, I once heard that the antidote itself could also be poisonous. You wouldn’t poison the antidote, would you?”

Upon hearing this, Master Wu said, ”You’re suspicious of me?”

”Just joking, whether there’s poison or not, it must be tested.”

As he said this, Ahetai picked up a bowl of antidote and directly poured it into the mouth of a slave, who trembled uncontrollably in terror but dared not resist.

Ahetai poured the entire bowl of antidote into the slave’s mouth.

He then threw the slave to the ground to observe the reaction, after quite a while, the slave showed no sign of poisoning.

Seeing this, Ahetai said, ”Haha, no poisoning, seems like the antidote is indeed non-toxic.”

Master Wu said, ”Naturally it is non-toxic.”

Hearing this, Ahetai approached the table, inspecting the toxic glands from the puffer fish as he called for another Han slave to be brought forth.

The slave came forward prostrating, ”Lord, spare my life, spare my life!”

These Han slaves used to be regular people from the Mianshui, but after offending Yelu Mansion, they were captured and enslaved.
