Chapter 529: Chapter 171 Nan Batian: Chen 94 You TM Screwed Me Over!_4

Sun Tiechui and his team were also evacuating Mianshui County.

Indeed, Sun Tiechui had to leave Mianshui County. The battle situation in the North was too intense, and a mature blacksmith was extremely valuable there, so he could no longer waste time in Mianshui County. This time, he was going to join the army on a long expedition.

Therefore, he did not care much about the demolition of the entire Sun Family Blacksmith Shop, but he couldn’t appear completely indifferent. He had to act hysterically to play his part well in this grand drama.

”Report, Commander, no cellar or secret room was found in the east courtyard.”

”Report, Commander, no cellar or secret room found in the west courtyard!”

”Report, Commander, no cellar or secret room found in the backyard...”

As they dug three feet into the ground, they ultimately found that the blacksmith shop had neither a cellar nor any sort of secret room.

This conclusively proved Sun Tiechui’s innocence. Sun Tiechui roared, ”Chen Jiusi, what do you have to say now?”

Jie Wenyan calmly responded, ”Well, it seems you are innocent. So, we will take our leave.”

As Chen Jie was about to leave, Sun Tiechui roared, ”You, stop!”

He leaped in front of Chen Jie and threw a punch at him. Seeing this, Chen Jie remained calm, and Qimu Ge intervened, ”Master Sun, do not act rashly.”

Enraged, Sun Tiechui exclaimed, ”Commander Mu Ge, look what Chen Jiusi has done to my shop! I, I must have an explanation!”

Qimu Ge responded, ”If you want an explanation, go demand it at Darugachi Mansion. We need to return and report back now. Master Sun, you should know the consequences of delaying Lord Yelu’s military orders.”

Sun Tiechui stepped back and said, ”Fine, since that’s the case, I’ll go with you to Darugachi Mansion. I want to demand justice from Darugachi in person.”

Upon hearing this, Mu Ge said, ”Good, let’s all go back to Darugachi Mansion together.”

The group discussed and left together. Just after they left, two beautiful figures landed on the roof of the blacksmith shop, watching the departing group.

The one in white said to the other in black, ”Sister, is it over just like this?”

Han He replied, ”Yes, it’s over.”

”So, those annoying Mulan Dogs won’t bother us again?”

Han He answered, ”They won’t bother us for a while. We’ve searched here once already, so suspicions are cleared. They won’t suspect that this was a trick aimed at them.”

”Giggle, Brother Sun and that fellow really acted well just now. I actually thought they were going to fight for real!”

Han Lian giggled as she spoke to Han He, who acknowledged, ”Yes, this plan was indeed clever. That fellow is quite smart.”

”It’s better to expose ourselves to the Mulan people than being constantly under their scrutiny. By doing so, we create a blind spot under the light, and they really won’t notice us so quickly.”

”Now, while the Mulan people are busy searching other places, the Fishing Guild, the Guild Cao, we can prepare the weapons and then transport them out of the city using Chen Jiusi’s method.”

Han Lian asked, ”Can his method work?”

”It should,” Han He replied. ”I would never think of his brilliant idea.”

”Let’s leave the acting to Brother Sun and that fellow. We still have our task to complete.”

After saying this, Qiao Hongyan put on her face mask, and Han Lian did the same before both women vanished into the rooftop.

...

Qimu Ge led Chen Jie and his team back to Yelu Mansion.

Qimu Ge said to Chen Jie and the others, ”Wait at the entrance. I will report to Lord Yelu.”

Upon hearing this, everyone responded with a bow, ”Yes.”

Qimu Ge quickly reached Lord Yelu’s room.

”Lord.”

Mu Ge entered and called out as he saw Yelu reading a book.

Yelu set the book aside and looked at Mu Ge, ”Oh, you’re back. Did you find anything?”

Mu Ge immediately replied, ”Lord, there was no significant discovery.”

”It seems Sun Tiechui truly has no connection with the weapons. We searched the entire Sun Family Blacksmith Shop today, dug three feet into the ground, and found nothing suspicious. Moreover, Sun Tiechui even fought Chen Jiusi over this matter.”

”Oh, there was such an incident?”

Yelu was startled, then looked at Mu Ge and said, ”Tell me more in detail.”

Mu Ge complied and recounted the events.

”Sun Tiechui has come back with us, asking for justice from you. What do you think?”

After Mu Ge explained, Yelu pondered, ”Hmm, Sun Tiechui indeed needs some consolation. As the military demands in the North increase, if Sun Tiechui can help the court manufacture weapons, it could also aid in dealing with the Northern Red Turban Bandits.”

Mu Ge responded to Yelu’s words, ”Yes, in that case, I will call him in.”

”Sure, but there’s no rush. You hesitated earlier; what did you want to say?”

Mu Ge paused slightly, ”It’s this, sir. When we were gathering our forces to search Sun Tiechui’s blacksmith shop, one of Nan Batian’s guards suddenly fled the scene and disappeared...”

”Hmm? Are you suspecting that Nan Batian is in collusion with Sun Tiechui?”

Yelu furrowed his brows, Mu Ge replied, ”It’s just a speculation, my Lord, without concrete evidence.”

Yelu asked, ”How does Nan Batian explain this?”

Mu Ge answered, ”I have not questioned him yet.”

Yelu concluded, ”Hmm, I see. For now, go bring Sun Tiechui here.”

”Yes!”

Mu Ge went out to fetch Sun Tiechui while Yelu massaged his nose bridge, his gaze slightly hardened as he pondered the matter. The sudden disappearance of one of Nan Batian’s men seemed too abrupt.
