A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 1477: Chapter 1467: Calling for Help

Inside the car, Mu Yan sat in the backseat, surrounded by complete darkness, the windows were covered by something, she couldn’t see anything, only felt the slight shake of the car in motion.

Her gaze suddenly fell forward, there was a figure sitting in the driver’s seat.

After a moment of hesitation, she asked, ”Where are you taking me?”

The person in front did not respond, the whole space was silent, Mu Yan felt a bit uneasy, could this person also be a bad guy?

Earlier, she was waiting for a car by the roadside when suddenly someone ran over from behind and put a bag over her head, dragging her away.

There were many of them, strong, she couldn’t resist.

But at the critical moment, this person appeared, saved her from their hands, then took her into the car to flee.

Yet the person’s behavior was strange, wearing a black baseball cap, a mask on the face, dressed in black, didn’t look like a good person.

So, could it be that she just escaped a wolf’s den, only to enter a tiger’s lair?

Mu Yan looked at this highly enclosed car, increasingly feeling it was mysterious and unpredictable.

She tried tentatively saying, ”Those people probably can’t catch up with us, why don’t you let me get out ahead?”

The person in front still didn’t speak.

Mu Yan’s heart grew more uneasy, she pressed her lips together and said, ”Could you be a bad person?”

”Be obedient and I won’t do anything to you.” A low and hoarse voice from the man came out.

Mu Yan looked at him warily, but unfortunately could only see the back of his head.

She whispered, ”I want to get out of the car.”

”No.” The man refused resolutely.

”What do you want?”

”You’ll know when we arrive.”

Mu Yan wanted to get out of the car, but the doors were locked, and jumping out at high speed, she’d be injured if not killed.

And things haven’t reached desperation yet, she didn’t need to take such a risk.

But there was one more way, and that was to knock out the man in the driver’s seat.

”I advise you not to act recklessly, you’re no match for me.” The man suddenly said from the front.

Mu Yan smirked, abandoning her thoughts, could this person be a worm in her stomach, knowing even what she’s thinking?

With no words exchanged, after about an hour, the car finally stopped.

The man got out first, then opened the rear door, letting Mu Yan out.

Mu Yan looked at him warily, then turned her head to scan the surroundings, realizing it was extremely desolate, appearing to be an abandoned industrial area, with an old warehouse up ahead.

”Why did you bring me here?” Mu Yan asked.

”Kidnapping.” The man’s low, hoarse voice came again.

Mu Yan’s heart skipped a beat, he’s kidnapping her? What on earth? How could there be such a calm kidnapper?

She instinctively glanced at him, he was quite tall, over six feet, although wearing black clothes, he had a good physique, but his hat was pressed low, not to mention that his eyes couldn’t even be seen, he was wrapped tightly like a sealed package, growing more suspicious.

Just then, she saw a car approaching from afar.

She quickly thought to plead for help, escaping from his grasp.

But before she could react, her wrist was suddenly grabbed, dragging her forward.

”What are you doing, let go of me, or I’ll scream.” Mu Yan shouted loudly, struggling to shake off his hand, simultaneously yelling for help, ”Help, help!”

The man didn’t entangle with her, directly picked her up and ran towards the warehouse.
