Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2550: Chapter 2550: Let’s Ask the Clan Leader to Speak for Us

An Que pursed his lips and secretly rolled his eyes.

What do you mean “in case” someone goes against him? It’s already happening. He can practically imagine that if he doesn’t go over and apologize, the next steps will be even worse.

Maybe if he goes and apologizes, An Jiuyue and her husband might see his good attitude and think he’s reliable, then be willing to match An Jiuyue with him?

You have to admit, the An family really has a habit of dreaming big. Even in this situation, they’re still hoping for some good fortune.

“I have to go. Grandma, do you still have some money? Give it to me so I can buy some things in town, and tomorrow morning I’ll go up the mountain personally to apologize.”

“Why should we?”

Old Lady An was not happy about it. Their family ended up like this because of An Jiuyue.

They harmed their family, and now they have to apologize? How is there any justice in that? She’s already being nice by not going up the mountain and burning down An Jiuyue’s treehouse.

“Anyway, I’m not going, Que’er, you can’t go either, right, just let your father and mother go. They can handle it.”

She originally planned to say no one was allowed to go, but on second thought, felt they should try to mend relationships. Perhaps if they realize they were wrong, they’ll give back Que’er’s scholar status?

“Older An, you should go up the mountain tomorrow and give…”

“Mom, what do we need to go for?”

Older An was dumbfounded by his mother’s words. What does this have to do with him?

If he goes up the mountain and angers An Jiuyue, there’s a chance they might chop him down.

He’d have to be crazy to willingly go up the mountain and meet his death.

“Que’er, things have reached this point, don’t go up the mountain and make trouble. We aren’t important enough for Prince An Yang to show mercy towards us.”

He thought about it, since they’re all from the same village, surely An Jiuyue wouldn’t wipe them out completely.

Now that things are like this, shouldn’t it be enough?

“Why don’t we find the Clan Leader and have him plead for us? If he is willing to intervene, Prince An Yang might give face and won’t continue to hold it against us.”

He suggested.

Upon hearing this, the eldest daughter-in-law of An’s family nodded frantically.

“Right, right, I just saw the Clan Leader heading up the mountain with people. I guess they are going to see Prince An Yang, so let’s find the Clan Leader and have him plea for us.”

Upon hearing this, An Que’s eyes flashed.

Finding the Clan Leader to plead isn’t a bad idea. Old Patriarch’s face is one An Jiuyue should respect.

“Alright, I’ll find the Clan Leader and see if he can take us to Prince An Yang to plead so this matter can pass, then… then have Aunt Mei go apologize to the Princess of the Third Rank, after all, she’s the one who arranged the match.”

He settled for second best.

The crowd nodded happily at his words.

It’s also fortunate Auntie Mei wasn’t present because if she was, she’d be hopping mad.

What do you mean have her go apologize? Was arranging the match her idea? Wasn’t it the old hag forcing her?

If she hadn’t been forced into a corner, would she willingly embarrass herself in front of An Jiuyue? Even spreading rumors about An Jiuyue to tarnish her reputation and force her to marry An Que was taught by Old Lady An.

And besides, Old Lady An couldn’t just have her own ideas, right?

To say An Que didn’t have a hand in this, Auntie Mei would never believe.
