Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2502: Chapter 2502: I’ll Definitely Teach Her a Lesson When I Get Home

She couldn’t bear to send the two children to a home with such a mother, fearing she might storm in with a knife and cut them down.

But after all, they were the treehouse’s parents, biological ones, and she really couldn’t do anything to them.

“Clan Leader, please have the treehouse’s father come over, but there’s no need for anyone else from their family to come; I don’t wish to see them,” she said.

“Okay, okay.”

The Old Patriarch repeatedly agreed.

He was here mainly to inform her, but in the end, matters should be left up to An Jiuyue herself.

To put it bluntly, they’ve raised two sons to such an age; why should an outsider just say they’re theirs and take them away?

Is there no justice? Even if An Jiuyue outright denied it, saying the children aren’t theirs, what could they do, forcefully take them?

“I’ll go back now and have Daya’s Father… rather, should I have him come over tomorrow?”

“That’s fine.”

An Jiuyue nodded, tomorrow is as good as any day; she had plenty of time.

…

On one side, the Old Patriarch made arrangements with An Jiuyue to bring Daya’s Father over tomorrow, while on the other side, Daya’s Father wandered around the village, but no one had seen Daya.

He immediately thought the child might still be in the mountains.

The woman at home could casually abandon even her son, let alone Daya, a girl she never favored.

Thinking about the child alone in the mountains made him anxious, and he hurriedly headed towards the mountains. But before he reached them, he saw the Old Patriarch coming down with his son, who was carrying his daughter in his arms.

“Clan Leader, this is…”

He looked his daughter over from head to toe, and only then did the heart he had been holding up finally settle.

Thankfully, nothing happened to his daughter; it was a blessing in misfortune. There had already been enough troubles at home lately; the child mustn’t have any more accidents.

“Hmph!”

The Old Patriarch gave Daya’s Father a cold snort.

“You’ve got yourself quite a wife, to be so cruel as to abandon such a young child in the mountains alone, picking wild berries for her brother to eat. Does she not have hands of her own as a mother?

How old is this child, to leave her alone in the mountains, not afraid of wild beasts dragging her away to be eaten?”

“Yes, yes, it’s Daya’s mother’s fault. I’ll definitely teach her a lesson when we get back.” Daya’s Father repeatedly agreed, stepping forward to take the child from the chief’s son’s arms.

That woman really is insane, capable of anything. How could she think of having little Daya pick wild berries alone in the mountains?

Those wild berries aren’t something that will make you immortal; how could she lose her mind over a few berries?

“Daya, are you alright? You nearly scared your father to death.”

Searching for the child in the village earlier, the more he searched, the more frightened he became. He never thought that woman could have such a cruel heart.

“Dad, I’m fine, luckily I ran into Grandpa Chief and Uncle.”

Daya nestled in her father’s arms, speaking in a soft voice, but thinking of how her mother told her to pick wild berries, she wondered if she’d be beaten for losing the basket when she got back.

“Dad, I did pick the wild berries, but the mountains are too big, I got lost, and so… I lost the wild berries and the basket.”

“It’s alright, it’s just a basket. I’ll make several more for you later.” Daya’s Father naturally didn’t care about a basket, as long as the child was safe.
