Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2540: Chapter 2540: Do They Want to Acknowledge You?

But he himself knew that their family wasn’t in such dire straits that they couldn’t ask around in the village or let the others find out when they were out.

It was their own fault, thinking that the two children definitely couldn’t have survived after being swept away by the water.

”When the two children were swept away, I really thought they’d never be found again.” He didn’t say he thought the two children were dead, but that was what he meant, right?

Upon hearing this, An Jiuyue’s gaze turned even colder.

”People I sent out found out that someone once saw your wife personally pushing a wooden basin into the water, and when I rescued the two children, they were inside a wooden basin.”

She reminded Daya’s Father that the secret guards had investigated overnight and there was no mistake.

So, back then, the Poisonous Woman indeed didn’t want the two children anymore and directly threw them into the water. However, since they were her own kids, she didn’t just toss them but put them in a wooden basin.

It was precisely because of that wooden basin that the children’s lives were spared.

”Hiss!”

Daya’s Father took a sharp breath.

Hearing it firsthand was quite different from his own speculation.

Now it seemed confirmed that the Poisonous Woman indeed tried to kill her two biological sons, and he couldn’t suppress his anger.

”Ah!”

The Old Patriarch also sighed heavily.

No one expected it to be true. If the two children weren’t living well now, he would be jumping up in anger.

Those were two precious lives. If swept away by the flood unwittingly, it’s a misfortune. But as a mother, to put the children into a basin and let them be swept away by water, isn’t that a crime worthy of death?

”Daya’s Father, what do you plan to do with that wife of yours?”

To keep such a vicious person around would be a disaster. Not only for their own family but it would also make everyone in An Clan Village anxious.

”I have already written a letter of divorce and, when we return, I will personally send her back to her daughter’s family.” Daya’s Father closed his eyes and said.

No matter how her family would treat him, he wouldn’t keep this woman any longer. He simply couldn’t afford to, so that’s that.

”Good.”

The Old Patriarch uttered a solemn ”good”.

”At that time, I’ll select a few men from the An clan to accompany you in sending her back, so rest assured.”

After all, she was from An Clan Village, and he couldn’t let her suffer a loss in another village. He must protect her, especially for the sake of An Yixing’s two children.

After saying this to Daya’s Father, he turned to An Jiuyue.

”Jiuyue, the children are still young now, and it’s not suitable to tell them these things. Why don’t we wait until they’re grown up and sensible to tell them about their biological parents? What do you think?”

He asked.

The two children are still young, and for them, the parents who raised them are more important than their biological ones.

Let’s wait until they’re grown, then tell them.

Then, whether the children choose to acknowledge their biological parents or not should be up to them. Even if they decide not to, we can’t blame them because their parents failed to protect them.

”No need for such trouble.”

Upon hearing the Old Patriarch’s suggestion, An Jiuyue shook her head.

”Do they have someone to acknowledge them on your side?” She looked at Daya’s Father and asked him.

”Ah?”

Daya’s Father was dumbfounded by the question.
