Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2501: Chapter 2501: As Long as It’s for the Children’s Good

This doesn’t even need to be said, she certainly wouldn’t let the two children go back. Just with that household, having such a woman there, she couldn’t allow her two adorable kids to scrape by under that woman’s supervision.

It’s not like she can’t afford to raise the kids, and they’re so well-behaved. Just looking at them makes her very happy.

“That’s not the case.”

The Old Patriarch quickly shook his head upon hearing this.

The men in their family hadn’t shown any intention of wanting the kids back. It was just Daya’s mother causing a fuss there, but her real motive was simply for money.

“I just went to ask Daya’s father, and from what he said, it didn’t seem like they wanted to take the kids back. They didn’t even feel justified in asking for the kids back.

Didn’t I get some people to inquire around the nearby villages? From what I gathered from Daya’s father, it’s possible that his wife deliberately claimed that no kids were missing from their family. Right!”

Suddenly, he seemed to remember something and looked at An Jiuyue.

“I think I heard their old lady mention before that their daughter-in-law almost died from complications during childbirth. It must have been when she was giving birth to the two brothers in the treehouse.”

He heard this news back when Daya’s mother was giving birth to their youngest son.

But back then, people were having babies indoors, and no one gossiped about who had complications. Everyone always thought it was that little girl, Daya.

The main thing was that Daya’s mother was very unkind to the little girl, making such a small child do all the housework.

If it weren’t for the fact that the little girl’s grandparents helped with some tasks, he would have suspected whether this child would be worked to death. So, everyone in the village believed that Daya’s mother had been difficult because she had complications when giving birth to Daya and hence took it out on her.

Now, it turns out it wasn’t that at all. Making them work was the least of it. That wicked woman threw away the child directly.

Hearing this, An Jiuyue’s face turned cold.

Even though she’d already heard the report from the secret guards before, every time she heard it, she felt like killing that woman once again.

She had also sent people to their original village to investigate. The reason Daya’s mother had complications was because she refused to listen to advice. Knowing she was pregnant with twins, she recklessly stuffed herself, making her belly unnaturally large.

The babies in the womb grew too big, and when she was six months pregnant, she even got into a fight with the neighboring family, which led to a physical altercation.

This eventually caused a premature birth, which was the main reason for the complications.

With such a woman, she really didn’t know how to describe her. Recklessly bringing trouble on herself and trying to pass the blame onto others, what was she thinking?

“So, what do you mean, Clan Leader?” she asked the Old Patriarch.

“How can it depend on my opinion?”

The Old Patriarch felt a bit embarrassed at being asked. An Jiuyue rescued the children from the water and raised them until now, watching them grow into well-behaved and sensible kids. How could a stranger’s words decide that the children should be sent back?

“Jiuyue, I came this time mainly to ask about your plans. Do you want to send the children back or keep them by your side and act as if they have no parents?

Ultimately, it’s up to you, as long as it’s in the children’s best interest, whatever works.”

Upon hearing this, An Jiuyue reluctantly nodded. The Old Patriarch’s words were acceptable to her.
