Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2532: Chapter 2532: Waging Economic War Against the Emperor

“Big Brother, do you mean there’s someone behind these people?” An Jiuyue was shocked. It was indeed as she suspected; someone was secretly supporting those grain merchants in buying grain.

But what does the person behind them want? What good comes from opposing the royal court and the Emperor?

Don’t they know, by doing this, the ones suffering are still the common people? Without food, without water, the people will starve to death.

“Could it be that someone really wants to profit from this national crisis? If discovered, their family will be destroyed! The person behind this truly dares!”

“Men die for wealth, birds die for food.” An Jiuyue and Qian Jiyun exchanged a glance and said.

There’s one more thing. If she’s not mistaken, the person behind all of this is trying to bring down the Emperor. After all, the current Emperor’s claim to the throne is somewhat illegitimate, and the Retired Emperor is still alive.

If the Emperor loses the people’s support, the throne’s future is uncertain.

“Xiang City, it’s very far from here.”

Even from such a distant place, they can reach over here; it seems the hand behind all this is indeed long.

“Jiyun, send a message to the Emperor; we’ll take care of this Xiang City matter.”

“Alright.”

Qian Jiyun nodded.

He thought the same. Even though he knew Eldest Brother Yan had the ability to handle the situation, he didn’t wish to use violent means to suppress those unworthy beings and tarnish Eldest Brother Yan’s reputation.

Therefore, this matter would need intervention from both him and An Jiuyue.

“How much grain do you have in your space?” he asked.

An Jiuyue & Wei Na in the space: “…”

This was a good question, but neither she nor Wei Na could answer it immediately.

“I’ll do an inventory tonight, but it should be enough to feed a country for several years at least.” An Jiuyue thought for a moment and could only say so.

Although her shop had opened several floors, it hadn’t yet reached the floor selling only grain.

Previously, she thought it should be about time, and so asked Wei Na to grow a bit more grain, unexpectedly finding it useful now, which was good. The people secretly scheming should know that some are not to be trifled with.

When An Jiuyue heard her sister-in-law’s words, she was speechless, dumbfounded.

Supplying a country for several years, imagine how much grain that is! How does her sister-in-law have so much grain? Could this be what’s described in books as being as wealthy as a nation?

“Are there any other news?”

An Jiuyue looked at An Jiuyue and asked.

“Oh, yes.”

An Jiuyue snapped back to reality and nodded.

“Several grain shops in the county are buying grain at high prices, indiscriminately acquiring any type of grain.” She felt if this continued, the country would be in chaos again.

“Ha.”

An Jiuyue laughed.

Is this an economic war against the Emperor?

“Jiyun, once you find out who is behind it, don’t act immediately; I have a business deal to make with that person.”

Anyway, there’s a surplus of grain in the space. If some fool wants to buy it, she wouldn’t mind selling some more. After all, once the grain is gone, she can grow more. She’s not short of points, nor grain at the moment.

How could Qian Jiyun not know what she was thinking? He smiled and nodded.

“Alright.”

“Big Brother, Sister-in-law, what are you talking about?”

An Jiuyue didn’t understand the plans of the two before her and asked somewhat perplexedly.
