Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2171: Chapter 2171: If You’re Not Honest, I’ll Kill You!

“If you have the ability, come over here; if you don’t, then keep quiet and shut your mouths!”

The Chief of the Imperial Guards looked at Emperor of Beikun on the ground and then at Yuu Rong, unable to keep his footing, wanting to rush forward but hesitating endlessly, afraid of death!

…

While two factions stood opposed within the palace, Leng Yikun and a State Knight had already arrived at the death cell.

Riding in on a triceratops, without waiting for him to say anything, the Jailer shakily turned his head and opened the cell door, fearing that a moment’s delay would result in being stomped into mud by the triceratops’s foot.

“Lead the way in front, take us to Shang Que.” Leng Yikun pushed the Jailer forward.

“Yes, yes, please follow me,” the Jailer continuously responded, and led the two to the torture chamber.

There, Shang Que was tied to a wooden cross, his originally white prisoner’s clothes now dyed blood red, with a basin nearby soaking a horsewhip, the entire basin filled with blood red water.

In the fire rack, there were also tools for scalding.

“This damn tough guy, I want to see if your bones will still be so tough when this red-hot branding iron is pressed against your flesh!”

An Imperial Guard within the cell clenched his teeth, glaring hatefully at Shang Que with dissatisfaction on his face.

“All we wanted was a confession, your whole family is already dead, what are you afraid of adding a false charge for? It’s truly stupid to endure so much pain just for one accusation!”

The Emperor wanted to kill Shang Que’s family, naturally he needed an excuse, and this excuse had to come from Shang Que, hence these jobs for the jail’s Imperial Guards.

But this Shang Que was truly a hard nut to crack, stubbornly refusing to admit any major crimes by his family, just dragging it out.

Forced confessions were common, but without the prisoner’s voluntary signature on a confession, they could not formalize an indictment.

What could he do? He could only continue to endure with Shang Que.

It was a matter of outlasting the other, and within this torture chamber, it was uncertain whether Shang Que could withstand the variety of tools.

“Because you won’t behave, I’ll kill you!”

As he said this, he picked up the red-hot branding iron in the charcoal basin, gritting his teeth as he looked at Shang Que, the branding iron almost touching Shang Que’s chest.

“Stop!”

As the Jailer led Leng Yikun into the torture chamber, he witnessed this scene, nearly fainting from fright.

His voice trembling as he tried to stop the Imperial Guard, but it was too late. Instead, Leng Yikun swiftly moved in front of the guard, flinging the branding iron from his hand.

“Ah!”

A scream followed.

Whether by coincidence or not, the red-hot branding iron landed right on the face of the guard who had been thrown to the ground.

The Jailer, hearing the sound, looked and saw the branding iron on the right cheek of the guard, hissing and emitting white smoke, which made him shiver in fright.

This Imperial Guard was sent by the Emperor, and he didn’t dare do anything to him.

But the person he had let in had knocked the guard down right away; if the Emperor heard about this, could he still keep his head on his neck?

After enduring excruciating pain, the guard didn’t think twice, immediately grabbed the branding iron with his hand.

The iron was still hot, severely burning his entire hand, but he didn’t care, ripped the branding iron from his face, and flung it away, peeling off a layer of skin from his hand as well.
