Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 947: Chapter 990: First Encounter with Ye Anxin

My obvious actions, in their view, turned into cold-blooded indifference, into love turned into hate.

However, I couldn’t be bothered to explain, letting them misunderstand.

Later, I heard Yan Qinghan say that Ruan Zhitong and her parents went abroad! He told me to seize the last chance to go to the airport and stop her!

But I didn’t go! I thought there was no need to retain a woman who was already tainted and betrayed me.

After Ruan Zhitong left, I immersed myself in work even more. In just five years, I not only helped Mu Group completely overcome the crisis but also made it the leader of Jin City’s business world, and I became the leader among Jin City Five Young Masters.

Over these five years, I met many women. But looking at those women with heavy makeup, enthusiastically approaching me, I only felt disgusted, without the slightest interest in them.

Until that year, when I was twenty-eight, Mu Huajian called me several times to have dinner at home! Annoyed, with nothing happening at the company, I went back!

It was only after going back that I realized Mu Rufeng had brought his girlfriend home!

That was the day I met a girl named Ye Anxin! That year, she was only eighteen, exuding a youthful aura all over her body. Especially when she squinted her eyes and sweetly followed Mu Rufeng, calling me ’Uncle’, I suddenly felt as if a hint of warmth had entered my cold heart, and I couldn’t take my eyes off her warm smile.

At that moment, I almost clearly sensed a subtle change in my heart because of her smile.

However, I didn’t care, didn’t take it seriously! For me, all women were the same! She was just an ordinary one among many women.

After that, I never saw her again! It was a year and a half later when I heard her name from Mu Rufeng and his mother.

That day, I went home to discuss company matters with Mu Huajian, and when I returned, I heard Mu Rufeng and his mother arguing in the living room.

The woman said, ”Rufeng, what’s so good about Ye Anxin that you are so devoted to her? Xie Yunlu is prettier, has a better family background, and is more polite. Why don’t you break up with that woman and be with Xie Yunlu?”

Mu Rufeng helplessly said, ”Mom, no matter how good Xie Yunlu is, I only love Anxin. She is unique in my heart. I will only marry her in this lifetime!”

Seeing Mu Rufeng’s determined attitude, the woman slightly softened her tone, ”Rufeng, when all is said and done, aren’t all women the same? Once you’ve had them, it doesn’t matter! Nowadays, men and women are casual, you don’t have to be responsible just because you’ve been to bed! When all is said and done, all women are the same when their clothes are off, and the lights are off!”

Mu Rufeng replied, ”Mom, Anxin is different from other women. We are very pure! She is not an ordinary woman!”

The woman widened her eyes in disbelief and asked, ”Rufeng, you’ve been together for over a year, don’t tell me you still haven’t won her over?”

”Mom, I told you, Anxin is very pure. I promised her that before marriage, we would treat each other with respect, so we are very clean! Look at other women nowadays, which one doesn’t go to bed at the first meeting? A woman like her is really rare, so I cherish our relationship, and in this lifetime, I’ll only marry her!”

The woman said earnestly, ”Rufeng, you are like this because you haven’t gotten her. Men are like this, they think it’s precious when they haven’t had it. Once they have it, they don’t care! You are also a man, so your feelings for Ye Anxin are just because you haven’t gotten her, that’s why! Listen to me, get her quickly, and then break up with her to be with Xie Yunlu!”

”Mom, I promised Anxin that I wouldn’t touch her after marriage! And she also promised me that once she turns twenty, reaches the legal marriage age, she will go to the civil affairs bureau with me to register! She doesn’t wish for a luxurious wedding, we just need to get a certificate!”

”Rufeng...!”

”Mom! Stop forcing me, I’m already twenty-four, I know how to handle my own affairs!”

”You...!” The woman might have wanted to say something else, but seeing me standing at the door, she said nothing, glaring at me, pursing her lips, and pulling Mu Rufeng upstairs.

Although they left, their words lingered in my mind for a long time.

That day, I also understood that Ye Anxin was different from other women! At least she could not only make him feel warmth but was also cleaner than other women.

However, I didn’t take this matter to heart either!

Not long after, I attended a banquet and met a woman named Su Yuexin!

That day, she wore a white evening gown, her long black hair cascading down like a waterfall! The feeling she gave me was the same as what Ruan Zhitong gave me, very pure, very clean!

After our first meeting, I had someone investigate her background, and it turned out she was a junior to Ruan Zhitong, with a clean background, and no entangled relationships.

That year, I had already turned thirty and indeed needed to find a woman to continue the lineage and have a child!

Rather than randomly marrying a woman, it would be better to marry one who’s cleaner!

Therefore, I proposed marriage to the Su Family! My idea was simple, just get a marriage certificate, no need for a grand wedding, no need to let the world know.

Unfortunately, Su Yuexin was still unsatisfied because I didn’t give her a luxurious wedding or announce to the world that she was my woman, so she eloped on the day of registering marriage!

By coincidence, on the same day, Ye Anxin was also dumped by Mu Rufeng! When she held onto me at the civil affairs bureau entrance, wanting to marry me, I knew she was trying to use me to get back at Mu Rufeng! I dislike being used as a tool for someone’s revenge, so I felt very repulsed!

At this time, I recalled the conversation between Mu Rufeng and his mother! For someone like me, already thirty, I indeed needed a wife, and Ye Anxin happened to be very clean, I didn’t feel repulsive of her, so I agreed to her request and went to register the marriage with her.

At the moment of registering the marriage, an inexplicable feeling rose in my heart!

I did not know what that feeling was, what it represented, I only knew that from now on, this woman named Ye Anxin was my woman, Mu Beiting!

To get back at Mu Rufeng, she tried her best to flatter me, to coax me! Strangely enough, while I generally dislike women who come onto me, I did not feel repulsive towards her, and even quite liked the feeling of being relied upon by her.

[PS: Busy work today, posted one Chapter first, I’ll try my best to write another one. If I can’t manage, I’ll owe everyone a Chapter for now! Muah!]
