Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 919: Chapter 962: Couple Rings

Mu Beiting glanced at the caller ID, then answered and placed the phone to his ear, ”Hello...!”

The person on the other end said something, and the smile on Mu Beiting’s lips widened involuntarily. In a good mood, he said, ”Okay, hold on, I’ll be right over!” With that, he hung up the phone, didn’t even look at the folder, picked up the office desk phone and called Pete, asking him to postpone the meeting to 2:30 in the afternoon, then grabbed his mobile and left.

Mu Beiting took the elevator straight to the underground parking lot, didn’t let the driver drive, and drove a business car out of the company by himself! Before long, he parked in front of a café.

Getting out of the business car, Mu Beiting went directly to the booked private room on the second floor!

The private room was spacious, with a long table in the middle and two leather sofas as long as the table on each side, accompanied by floor-to-ceiling windows! On the table, a teapot was simmering on low heat!

A woman sat in the private room, quietly gazing out the window. Upon hearing the door open, she turned slightly, seeing Mu Beiting, she hurriedly smiled gently, ”President Mu, you’re here, please sit!” Saying so, she courteously picked up the teapot and poured Mu Beiting a cup of tea.

The woman’s voice was light, soft, and gentle! It matched her temperament perfectly, like a clear spring, pure and captivating!

Mu Beiting sat across from the woman, didn’t drink the tea she poured, but somewhat eagerly asked, ”Is it designed? Let me see!”

”Yes! It’s finished, and all the details are as per President Mu’s wishes!” After saying this, she picked up the briefcase beside her, took out a blue folder, and handed the design drawings inside to Mu Beiting opposite her.

Mu Beiting took the drawings and carefully reviewed each one.

As Mu Beiting looked, the woman explained, ”The designs on these drawings are similar, just with some differences in handling the details! President Mu can see which one you like best, if you’re not satisfied, I can modify it according to your wishes, but if you are, I’ll send it to the workshop for customization!”

Mu Beiting nodded, and after reviewing all the drawings, he took out the one he was most satisfied with and handed it back to the woman, ”This one! I’m very satisfied with the details, the design is unique, and it matches my wife’s temperament!”

The woman took the drawing Mu Beiting handed over, smiled slightly, ”President Mu has a good eye! The detail handling on this one is indeed more refined, and the design is very meticulous in some subtle spots!”

”Then I’ll leave it to you! How long do you think it will take for the rings to be ready?” Mu Beiting spoke unusually warmly and politely for once! Even his expression was much more gentle than before.

The woman smiled and softly said, ”It might take a bit longer! At the slowest, three months, but at the fastest, at least a month! Actually, President Mu, there’s no need to rush, as they say, ’slow work yields fine craftsmanship,’ you can’t rush good things!”

Mu Beiting was silent for a moment, then spoke, ”I’ve already waited this long, a few more months won’t matter, the main thing is that it must be good, without any flaws!”

”I understand, I’ll inform the craftsmen to handle it carefully! They’re professionals, they won’t make mistakes!” The woman smiled and nodded, feeling relieved when Mu Beiting finally made his decision.

Ever since she took on Mu Beiting’s project, she hadn’t had a moment of peace!

Being an internationally renowned designer, her work had been repeatedly rejected by Mu Beiting! A simple pair of rings took her nearly two months to design!

This design was her most revised among all her designs!

Even during her apprenticeship, she had never made so many revisions!

If Mu Beiting still wasn’t satisfied this time, she’d really be out of options and would have to let him find someone else more skilled!

Fortunately, this time he finally nodded in satisfaction! She could finally breathe a sigh of relief and gracefully retreat!

”Great! I’ll leave everything to you!” Mu Beiting nodded, his tone exceptionally gentle.

”Since President Mu is satisfied, I’ll leave first and send the drawings over!” With that, she picked up her bag and was about to get up to leave.

Seeing her about to leave, Mu Beiting made an unprecedented offer, ”It’s almost lunchtime, you’ve helped me a lot, let me treat you to lunch before you go!”

The woman’s reaction was delayed by Mu Beiting’s earnestness!

Every previous meeting had been cold, with Mu Beiting having no interest in speaking more than a few words! It was as if she owed him money, making communication difficult! That’s also why she had trouble with the design!

She hadn’t expected that in just a few days, he seemed like a different person! Not only had his expression softened, but his speech was polite, and his attitude had improved greatly!

”Sit!” He said, pressing the red button on the table.

Seeing Mu Beiting’s sincerity, the woman thought for a moment, then sat back across from him.

Soon, the private room door opened, and a waiter walked in, politely asking, ”How may I help you?”

”Order!” Mu Beiting uttered two simple words, then handed the menu on the table to the woman!

The woman glanced at the menu and ordered a steak for herself! Mu Beiting, on the other hand, ordered Set B!

After lunch, they left the restaurant and each got into their own cars and departed.

......

Time passed quietly, as little Chu Yi continued to grow each day, and the weather warmed bit by bit.

Ye Anxin, as usual, would eat breakfast after waking up, then hold little Chu Yi to see Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai off! When the weather was nicer and there was less sun, she would take little Chu Yi to the garden gazebo!

If it was too hot, she’d play with little Chu Yi indoors!

Occasionally, she’d go out shopping with Ling Yueyue and Ye’s mother, leading a happy and fulfilling life.

One day, Ye Anxin was holding little Chu Yi while playing on the sofa when her phone in her pants pocket suddenly rang!

Ye Anxin handed little Chu Yi to the nanny, took out her phone, saw it was a call from her mother’s house, and answered it, placing it to her ear, ”Hello!”

The voice on the other end wasn’t her mother’s, but from the servant, Aunt Qing, ”Ma’am, that... that...!”

Hearing Aunt Qing hesitate, Ye Anxin grew anxious in her heart and quickly asked, ”Aunt Qing, what’s wrong? What happened? Why are you stammering? Did something happen to my mom?”

Aunt Qing hurriedly said, ”Ma’am, just a moment ago, a man came and took the madam away! I wanted to chase after them, but the madam wouldn’t let me!”
