Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 271: Chapter 271: Envy, Jealousy, and Resentment

After exiting the elevator, Mu Beiting led Ye Anxin to a door, covered her eyes with his hand, and whispered in her ear, ”Don’t open your eyes yet, I’ll let go when the right time comes!”

Ye Anxin chuckled and said, ”Haha, Uncle, when did you start using this kind of trick?”

”...!” Mu Beiting said nothing, a hint of unusual redness appearing on his handsome face.

Though she couldn’t see, Ye Anxin knew that Uncle was definitely shy again, so she smiled and said, ”Alright! I promise I won’t open my eyes!”

”Hmm!” Mu Beiting responded, guiding Ye Anxin forward with her eyes covered.

Despite not being able to see, Ye Anxin knew Mu Beiting had opened a door because as soon as the door opened, a gust of cold wind rushed in, making the pores on her face stand up.

Ye Anxin fully trusted Mu Beiting, letting him lead her forward into the cold wind.

Because she couldn’t see, they walked very slowly, and Mu Beiting was extremely cautious.

Finally, after walking carefully for about five minutes, they stopped.

”What are we looking at?” Ye Anxin couldn’t resist asking while Mu Beiting’s hand still covered her eyes.

She really couldn’t imagine what could be worth seeing on the rooftop that was so mysterious.

Curious, Mu Beiting slowly released his hand.

Ye Anxin smiled and looked forward.

Upon seeing what was in front, all her laughter froze.

She... she actually saw two large snowmen tightly pressed together.

The two snowmen had curled mouths, round bodies pushed tightly together, and their bodies had her and Mu Beiting’s names written with some black material.

Even though it was Mu Beiting’s first time building a snowman, they looked very good, not revealing it was his first time at all! This perfectly exemplified Mu Beiting’s pursuit of perfection.

Ye Anxin suddenly felt a warmth in her eyes, choking up, she asked, ”Uncle, were you not in a meeting and came here to build snowmen instead?”

Mu Beiting did not answer but asked, ”Do you like them?”

”I love them, I really do!” Afraid Mu Beiting wouldn’t believe her, Ye Anxin nodded her little head furiously.

”Liking them is good!” Seeing Ye Anxin so happy, Mu Beiting’s tightly pursed lips slightly curved.

Ye Anxin couldn’t help but extend her hand, carefully tracing every part of the snowmen.

Embarrassed, Mu Beiting said with a blush, ”Didn’t you want to take photos? This scenery should be suitable!”

”Yes, yes, yes, let’s take photos with the snowmen, they’re the witnesses of our love!” Saying this, she immediately took her phone out of her pocket, placed it at a suitable position, set the timer, and after the phone was set, quickly pulled Mu Beiting to stand behind the snowmen, resting her head on Mu Beiting’s shoulder until the phone made three shutter sounds, then immediately ran over to check the shooting effect.

Worried the shots might not be good, she set the camera to take three consecutive photos.

After seeing the result, she immediately showed it off to Mu Beiting, ”Uncle, look, isn’t it great? This is our first photo together and it’s very precious, we must cherish it!”

Looking at the photo on Ye Anxin’s phone, the glow in Mu Beiting’s eyes gradually softened.

”Let’s take a few more; it’s rare to have such natural snow scenery!” As she said that, she repositioned the camera, still on a three-shot setting, and pulled Mu Beiting to stand behind the snowmen.

This time, instead of resting her head on Mu Beiting’s arm, she tiptoed and kissed Mu Beiting’s face.

At the moment Ye Anxin kissed Mu Beiting’s handsome face, his tall body clearly stiffened.

Immediately, three shutter sounds went off.

Ye Anxin quickly went to check the photo effects again.

Looking at the photos, Ye Anxin felt warmth in her heart.

It turned out that Uncle not only cared for her but would also do things that didn’t match his identity just to make her happy.

Uncle truly cared about her.

Thinking about this, Ye Anxin switched her phone to video mode, placing it in the former position again, and then grabbed a bit of snow next to where she placed the phone, rolling it into a ball, and threw it towards Mu Beiting when he was unguarded.

The snowball hit Mu Beiting squarely on the forehead, instantly showering him with snowflakes.

”Haha... Uncle, come on, let’s have a snowball fight! Every year when it snows, I would have snowball fights with Yueyue! This year, Yueyue is pregnant and can’t move, so Uncle will play with me!” She had only known of Ling Yueyue’s pregnancy recently!

If Ling Yueyue’s belly hadn’t grown so big that her clothes couldn’t hide it, she might not have admitted it!

After learning of Ling Yueyue’s pregnancy, she immediately vied to be the godmother, to which Ling Yueyue agreed readily.

Though she was married now, at twenty she still had a playful heart, especially when playing with Uncle, which she looked forward to even more!

Mu Beiting extended his hand, brushing off the snowflakes from his hair.

Just as he brushed it off, Ye Anxin threw another one over.

Ye Anxin was determined to make Mu Beiting fight back!

So, she continuously, frantically grabbed snow from beside her and threw it at Mu Beiting.

Yet Mu Beiting remained standing there, brushing the snow off his body.

Despite Ye Anxin covering him with snow, he did not change his expression, nor did he get angry, allowing Ye Anxin to frolic and play.

”Haha, Uncle is so funny!” Seeing Mu Beiting turned into a living snowman, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

She had never seen Uncle look so awkward, it was absolutely hilarious!

Last time at the waterfall, Uncle only got his hair wet, but this time he was completely covered by white snow.

Ye Anxin enjoyed herself immensely, trying every way to get Mu Beiting to play with her.

However, Mu Beiting was still too rigid, remaining motionless, only standing there letting her throw snow, soon blending in with the snowmen beside him.

Even so, Ye Anxin was still having a great time! She seemed to go crazy with play, running all over the rooftop, grabbing snow and throwing it at Mu Beiting.

Even though her shoes and clothes were covered in snow, she still didn’t feel cold and instead felt warm all over.

In the blink of an eye, over an hour passed, Mu Beiting finally reacted, walking to Ye Anxin’s side, grabbing her arm, brushing the snow off her, and said, ”It’s getting dark, let’s head down!”

Ye Anxin pouted, ”But I haven’t played enough!”

Mu Beiting rarely coaxed gently, ”Be good, you can continue tomorrow! Anyway, the snow will last for three or four days!”

Reluctantly glancing at the two snowmen, Ye Anxin nodded in agreement, ”Alright then! We’ll come and play again tomorrow! We’ll bring Yueyue along; although she can’t play, she can watch, haha! Make her envious, jealous, and resentful!”
