Zhao Chen glanced at the system task that had appeared just as he was preparing to rescue the Bloody Mary Mercenary Corps.

The system truly delivered a pillow just when he was feeling drowsy.

Zhao Chen admired the spectacular scene unfolding before his eyes.

The collision of blue and red beam lasers made onlookers believe this would be an intense and protracted battle.

However, the process turned out to be surprisingly straightforward and decisive.

Just moments after the red beam laser made contact with the blue one, it began to continuously ”retreat.”

In truth, it was being ”disintegrated” by the blue beam laser.

While ”disintegrating” the red beam laser, the blue beam laser steadily advanced toward the enemy’s T3 Blazing Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Battlecruiser.

Simultaneously, the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser opened its Interstellar Missile Launch Silos, launching one Blizzard Star Missile after another. Trailing exhaust plumes, they streaked toward the opposing T3 Blazing Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Battlecruiser.

”Interstellar missiles too!” Scarface stared wide-eyed at the scene, utterly shocked that the enemy’s weaponry was even more formidable than his own T3 Blazing Lion King.

”Intercept! Intercept! Deploy the Close Defense Cannons immediately to intercept these attacks! Have the other starships provide cover for us!” Scarface now realized that the enemy’s T3 Interstellar Battlecruiser possessed formidable combat capability.

It might even surpass his own T3 Blazing Lion King!

But let’s not forget, behind the T3 Blizzard were the T2 Starships of the Bloody Mary Mercenary Corps.

Commander Red Eyes wasn’t idle either. Seeing the tide of battle turn, she immediately ordered her T2 Starships to coordinate with the T3 interstellar warship before them.

This was their hope for survival!

Standing on the bridge of her flagship, Commander Red Eyes gazed at the starship shielding them. For some reason, she felt a sense of security.

Until now, she had always been the one protecting her starship crew and the weak.

This was the first time she had experienced the feeling of being protected herself.

Returning to the battle between the two T3 Interstellar Battlecruisers.

The T3 Blazing Lion King’s combat capability was still considerable. Even though the T3 Blizzard’s Cluster Laser Bow Cannon was now pressing against its star shield, the shield remained stubbornly resilient.

However, its ship hull was currently under assault from the interstellar missiles.

These missiles bypassed the star shield, directly attacking the T3 Blazing Lion King’s hull, with a primary focus on striking the warship’s gun emplacements.

”Warning! Weapon Module Seventeen, secondary cannon destroyed!”

”Warning! Weapon Module Three, main cannon damaged.”

”Warning! Weapon Module Four, main cannon; Module Seven, secondary cannon; Module Eight, secondary cannon; Module Nine, secondary cannon malfunctioning. Temporarily inoperable.”

A series of bad news reached Scarface’s ears one after another.

His expression had grown quite grim.

He never would have imagined that a single T3 interstellar warship before him could turn the tide of battle here.

It even showed signs of overwhelming his own T3 Blazing Lion.

”Damn it! Wasn’t the T3 Blazing Lion supposed to be the strongest stellar battlecruiser currently available? Why does this unknown stellar battlecruiser that popped out of nowhere have the combat capability to crush it!” Scarface was furious.

Boom

The bridge shook several more times as his ship hull endured attacks from the enemy’s T3 Star Drones.

The T3 Blazing Lion’s stellar drones had already lost half their number, with the remaining half returning to the hangar for resupply.

Yet the enemy’s stellar drones had an ammunition load far exceeding their own, rushing right up to their ship hull at this moment and unleashing a barrage of attacks on both the hull and the weapon modules launching stellar drones.

They were clearly seizing the opportunity to finish them off!

And now, the T3 Blazing Lion’s cluster laser bow cannon had ceased fire, entering a reset cooldown phase.

In contrast, the enemy’s cluster laser bow cannon continued its relentless output.

His stellar shield energy value was steadily declining.

After the enemy’s cluster laser bow cannon finally quieted down,

his stellar shield energy value had just dropped to 50%.

But surely the enemy’s star shield couldn’t be in much better shape, Scarface consoled himself.

”That ship’s bow cannon is terrifying. If I take two more hits, my starship probably won’t survive.

I must destroy the enemy’s starship in the next round of attacks!” Scarface glanced at the reset cooldown timer for his own bow cannon.

The total time was 500 seconds, with roughly 400 seconds remaining.

As long as he endured these 400 seconds, the next round of attacks could shatter the enemy’s star shield and directly damage their starship.

And let’s not forget, he still had a large number of T2 Starships.

Bridge of the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser.

Zhao Chen glanced at the green number representing the stellar shield energy value.

85%!

He didn’t know when it started, but Zhao Chen found this shade of green increasingly pleasing to the eye. Indeed, as the saying goes: if you want life to go smoothly, you need a touch of green.

He then checked the reset cooldown time for the bow cannon.

Bow Cannon Weapon Module Reset Time: 300 seconds.

Zhao Chen calculated in his mind. At most, two more rounds of attacks—maybe even just one—and that T3 Blazing Lion opposite them could be destroyed.

However, before that, the T3 Blizzard’s four 2500mm medium electromagnetic main cannons and sixteen medium pulse laser secondary guns were not idle.

Whenever their reset cooldown finished, they relentlessly fired upon the enemy ship’s star shield.

Watching the continuously falling stellar shield energy value, Scarface felt as if his heart were being squeezed.

What kind of starship was this?

Before the T3 Blazing Lion was modified, its main weapon was just a single 2200mm central electromagnetic cannon!

Yet this monstrous starship before him was actually equipped with four 2500mm medium electromagnetic main cannons.

Wasn’t this practically an interstellar battleship!

Under this round of attacks, his star shield quickly dropped below 40% and was about to approach the Yellow Alert Line.

And just at that moment, the Bow Cannon of the opposing Starship actually began to glow with a blue Charge light.

”How is this possible...” Scarface was dumbfounded. It had only been... less than three hundred seconds, right?

He checked his own Bow Cannon again—it still required 100 seconds of Reset Recharge time.

A feeling of despair and helplessness weighed heavily on his chest.
