Thanks to Zhao Wan’er’s T3 Phantom Sting-class Light Interstellar Stealth Bomber destroying four T3 interstellar warships, plus Zhang Haoran who had already met his end, Zhao Chen’s task completion had reached 25%!

And after confirming that the T3 Phantom Sting-class Light Interstellar Stealth Bomber had begun its withdrawal, the T2 Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Missile Ship No. 1 immediately commenced its firepower assault.

Bai Xue, the wolf girl serving as the captain of Lion King No. 1, continuously tapped on the virtual operation interface before her. This was the interface for the interstellar missile target-locking function. Although there were dedicated crew members on the bridge responsible for this task, she still preferred the feeling of personally controlling it herself.

Ever since she last ordered the T2 Lion King-class to carry out a firepower assault, she had discovered that she seemed to have grown fond of this sensation—the exhilarating feeling of watching enemy ships being obliterated under her fierce bombardment.

Round after round of interstellar missiles were launched, exploding across swathes of the enemy fleet, igniting bursts of fiery light. That feeling... made Bai Xue’s ears perk up, her tail wagging incessantly, and her breathing seemed to grow noticeably heavier.

This feeling... was simply too exhilarating!

Zhao Chen stared at the data interface before him. At the top were ten T3 interstellar warships. Four of them had already turned gray, indicating their demise, while two others were marked red, signifying severe damage to their hulls.

Below them were the eight hundred T2 interstellar warships.

Under a single round of firepower assault from the T2 Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Missile Ship, within just a few minutes, nearly fifty T2 interstellar warships were directly reduced to starship wreckage. Additionally, over fifty more T2 interstellar warships suffered hull damage, and over a hundred T1 interstellar warships were caught in the crossfire.

After withstanding this round of bombardment from the T2 Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Missile Ship, Han Tianwang’s fleet resumed its advance.

He firmly believed that Zhao Chen’s two trump cards had already been expended. Although the appearance of that T3 interstellar stealth bomber was beyond his expectations, that single T3 interstellar warship alone certainly couldn’t turn the tide of this situation.

Zhao Chen’s remaining trump card was undoubtedly that T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser. He himself still had three thousand interstellar warships. With this charge, could Zhao Chen’s Fierce Dragon Fleet possibly survive?

Victory, in the end, would still belong to him!

”Report, the enemy fleet has begun retreating,” the deputy captain reported beside him.

Observing the starship radar, it was evident that the dozen or so interstellar warships opposite were slowly withdrawing.

”Trying to run? Not a chance! Today will be your end, Zhao Chen!” Han Tianwang said with a ferocious expression.

The retreat speed of the Fierce Dragon Fleet wasn’t particularly fast. Han Tianwang’s allied fleet pursued closely from behind, having already begun launching counterattacks.

However, with the escort of ten T2 Black Rhino-class Interstellar Heavy Assault Frigates and the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship possessing its own star shield, there was no immediate significant danger.

At this moment, the interstellar drones and stellar fighters deployed by both sides had already begun to clash.

Han Tianwang’s fleet was equipped with two T2 carrier starships, which had deployed a total of fifty stellar fighters and three hundred interstellar drones.

Stellar fighters and interstellar drones had always been the two primary weapons of interstellar carriers.

The former could execute various combat missions, adapt to complex battlefield situations, and, with their larger airframes, carry more weaponry.

The latter could be rapidly deployed into battle without the need for pilots, meaning that even if interstellar drones were destroyed, there would be no personnel losses.

Each had its own advantages and disadvantages.

However, the stars of this interstellar dogfight were destined to be the interstellar drone swarm from the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship!

The first to arrive were two hundred T2 Larva-class Light Interstellar Drones and one hundred T2 Killer Bee-class medium interstellar drones. Following behind were twenty Hornet-class Heavy Interstellar Drones, whose targets were the enemy fleet’s starships further back.

The T2 Larva and T2 Killer Bee drones displayed astonishing combat capability and coordination, almost completely overwhelming the enemy’s stellar fighters and interstellar drones.

The loss ratio reached five to one!

In other words, for every interstellar drone lost by the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship, the enemy had to pay the price of five!

While these stellar fighters and interstellar drones were engaged in combat, the twenty Hornet-class Heavy Interstellar Drones, under the cover of some other drones, began advancing deep into the enemy fleet.

The enemy’s stellar fighters and interstellar drones, already entangled in the interstellar dogfight, had no ability to stop them.

More importantly, the targets of those Hornet-class Heavy Interstellar Drones appeared to be the two T2 carrier starships in the enemy fleet!

Zhao Chen intended to firmly secure interstellar air superiority in this battle.

”Convey my orders to that Little Green Snake. Ten minutes from now, launch an assault from the rear of the enemy fleet and carry out a penetrating attack at all costs!” Zhao Chen instructed Secretary Aili beside him to relay the command.

”Yes.” Secretary Aili went to contact the five hundred starships of the Snake People Clan.

As the battle continued, Han Tianwang’s interstellar fleet gradually formed a semi-encirclement, adopting an encirclement and annihilation formation.

Once Zhao Chen’s interstellar fleet was surrounded, the outcome would be predictable.

Zhao Chen looked at Charlotte beside him, who had been on high alert and had already returned to her battle station.

Zhao Chen spoke up, ”Are you sure you want to execute that combat plan? Actually, you could choose a safer approach.”

Charlotte said firmly, ”On the battlefield, benefits and risks coexist.

Only by doing it that way can we defeat the opponent with minimal losses.

Please trust me, Commander!”

Zhao Chen smiled slightly, ”Since that’s the case, then go ahead and do it boldly.”

”For the commander’s safety, I request that the commander move to the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship!” Charlotte pleaded.

Zhao Chen looked at Charlotte. He knew why she was saying this—she was considering his safety.

”Do you think I’m the kind of commander who would cower in the face of danger and place myself in safety?

Since you’ve decided to proceed this way, I will stay right here and watch you.”

”I will always stand with my Warriors!” Zhao Chen’s tone brooked no argument.

Charlotte was taken aback for a moment, then a faint smile appeared, revealing her little canine tooth.

”Then please hold on tight, Commander.”

Zhao Chen knew that his Little Tiger was about to start racing the fleet!
